    Celebrating my Anniversary
It was back in the 90's - 1995. I was, obviously, still pretty naive about what could go on in a strip club, but I had the cash that night so when she asked about going upstairs we were off to the races. Even with that she still had to walk me through the process. She put my hands on her tits during the first dance and she all but pulled my tongue out of my mouth to get me to eat her out. Finally she pulled out my shirt, unzipped my pants and asked me what I wanted to do. I asked about a blow job and she said we could do better than that. The cash jumped out of my pocket as she slid my member between her tits. She really went to town on the BJ and I did not last long. We had the room for another hour and it only took a few minutes for her to get me hard again. She slipped on a condom and started riding me. Then she went face down on the couch with her up in the air for some doggy. Anyone could have walked into our little room, but that did not happen at the Gold Club. Fucking strippers is what happened back in those days. As for these days, I still get some action at clubs that are known for that sort of thing, but I’ve never been anywhere like the Gold Club was.

    A safer environment
I had not heard of that research, so I looked it up. Interesting stuff both in support and opposition of the book: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/More_Guns,_Less_Crime

Parody - do you have any data to suggest that more people carrying guns results in less violence? Intuitively, it may seem that it would be so, but I cannot think of a single place or time when this was really true. Maybe it is, but having some factual information to back it up would be nice.

Would you follow a dancer that is changing clubs?
I agree with the statements about how "she would own you," but she probably owns you already, so you might as well follow her.

    Dancer: "Flash me"
A couple of years ago, while getting a regular lap dance at a houston club, the dancer said "he's suffocating in there and needs to come out." It was not a private area so I declined her request, and her subsequent request to go the VIP.

    She moved...
jablake, shadowcat's response may have been short and without a lot of compassion, but your responses sound angry. "Been there" is a cliche, but there a certain elegance to it that conveys that gatorjoe is not the first person to go through something with a stripper and shadowcat's advice "just move on" is exactly on point: no need to waste time with any more words, thoughts or actions, just move on.

    Kansas City vs. Chicago
Chicago generally sucks. There is a club just across the boarder in Indiana (Industrial Strip) that provides good milage, but that is just about it.

Best Club NOT on Top 40
Yeah, the top 40 is overrated. It's hard, and not really fair to compare clubs from all over the country (plus Canada and Mexico). But I love this topic - name a club that you think is underrated and why. For me, the Southern California clubs east of LA are great. They don't seem to get as much attention on the list, but the milage is unbelievable.

WTF is wrong with you guys that need foreign entertainment?
Sure the accent / broken English can be a pain, but can you really eat at Applebee's every single night? It's just more interesting to spice things up once in a while and order off a completely different menu. There's risk that you'll get something that you don't like as well, but taking the same road all the time gets boring. There's nothing wrong with classic American, in fact it's great, but it's not the end-all. As for the xenophobes who fear anything foreign: yeah it's a drag having to spend the extra 5 seconds listening to the "para español” message, but on balance immigrants add far more to the culture than they take.

Do you perfer to be approached?
Isn't being approached part of the fantasy? That this hot girl wants to spend time with you so much, that she passed up every other guy in the club, just so that she could be with you? If you approach her, it can feel like more of a business transaction, but if she approaches you, and handles it well, then it feels more like a connection is made.

    More consistent ratings.
As many others have said, it is the description that counts. After all the point is to help others best decide which club is the right club for them. It's not a contest. No Chicago club compares to the Tampa clubs, and you probably should not read an 8 for a Chicago club as the same as an 8 for a Tampa club. I think the numbers should help point you to the better or worse clubs in any given area, and I think they do this pretty well. One thing that is pretty consistant are the low ratings. If a club has a low rating you pretty well know that it is a dump.
