I don't want to have a LD with a trans woman, no matter how perfect her transition was and how good she looks, and some of them look pretty damn good. However, IDGAF if a SC hires trans dancers, any more than if they hire fat biological females. I don't want to get LDs with them. either. I would probably feel deceived if a trans dancer tried to get me to do a dance (unlike one of the other commenters, I don't have the superpower to tell biological males and females apart based on scent), but there are plenty of dancers who are trying to scam PLs in other ways on a daily basis, so I am always on the alert for anything that seems off. If I got snookered, then, per Hank Moody's comment, I guess I'd prefer just not to find out.
What I have difficulty wrapping my mind around is how many people (not just TUSCLers, and not even just men) have such visceral hatred for people they don't know based on who they are (or, if you prefer, about who they think they are) based on something that doesn't negatively affect the haters' lives one iota. Brings to mind the insane reaction to the trans "influencer" which prompted a boycott of the shittiest beer on the planet. (At the peak of that craziness, I choked down the first and only Bud Light in my life at a public event as a lame counterprotest) I know parents whose offspring have transitioned, including from female to male as well as male to female. They share in the private turmoil that led to their kids' transition, and, fortunately, the parents I know have sucked it up and continued to provide unconditional love and support

Don't get me started about the VIP "accommodations" at Indulge or Circus. Like the killer's basement in Silence of the Lambs

The Ritz is over in Fells Point, a 15 minute walk from The Block (don't walk it at night), and much more of a typical SC experience.
The Block is more for horndogs like me who are laser focused on FS and are willing to abandon virtually any standards if that's what it takes. Once the deed is done, I'm outta there, with regrets in tow

Very consistent with my experience. I'd take the "ghetto" clubs in Louisville over PTs any time

I saw either a cross-dresser or somebody in the very early stages of transition (5:00 shadow and all) at the #3 rated TUSCL club. Dancer I was hanging with made it sound like she or he was a regular.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
Part of the reason I cut off an otherwise near perfect regular

You can unfriend me, unfollow me, and unlike me; but you cannot unlick my butthole
11th Circuit will almost certainly reverse, if it gets the chance. However, they likely won’t expedite the appeal, and the whole case goes away January 21 if Trump wins, as appears to be likely
Even if there were a reversal before Inauguration Day, Trump’s lawyers have ample time to slow walk a petition for certiorari
Only way this actually gets considered by SCOTUS is if Trump loses the election. I’d be surprised if 5 justices would support Cannon’s whack ruling, but I would have said the same thing about the immunity issue
Meanwhile, back in DC, stand back and stand by while Chutkin schedules evidentiary hearings during the thick of the campaign so the special counsel can lay out all the evidence that would otherwise have been presented at trial, ostensibly to establish that immunity does not apply to most of the charged offenses

But not too old!
If I walk out of the house in the morning knowing there are 3 things I need to remember, I forget at least one before I start the car. While I know most of these rules seem like common sense, nobody could lay them on a young woman in her early 20s and expect them to stick.
Part of my job is to coach people on how to deal with stressful situations and I always boil things down to 2 or 3 pointers max so as not to overwhelm them. Doesn’t matter if they’re a janitor or a hedge fund manager
There was a thread a while back about the average flameout time for newbie dancers, and the consensus among the estimates was quite short. Those that stick it out for as long as they want to aren’t beating their brains out in a state of constant failure. They figure out the best way to make a go of it, and they end up being the most fun to spend time with. That’s why my own personal “rule” is to try to scope out dancers who are hot but have been around the block a few times. Much better chance of mutual success

Yeah, summertime is great. But even in cooler weather, I can make do gawking at a nice, denim-clad ass or even a fit woman in a demure dress and heels
I have to keep reminding myself that the overt ogling, leering grins, and dynamic eye contact that are my go-to attention-getting ploys in the SC come across as traits of a psycho predator out in the real world. I know I need a break from the clubs when I find myself starting to pull my SC schtick with a professional acquaintance or a mom in a tennis skirt at the Acme

Too bad you're asking a bunch of older guys what younger guys like. The dancers i talk to mostly think younger guys are cheap and a waste of time, so, as another older dude, my advice is not to change a thing. Everything about you seems perfect. You remind me of the black women I started fantasizing about 50 years ago, and still do. Seeing that bush would be a welcome change of pace.

H0es Dont Get Cold because they're Cold Blooded
"For the price" may be the key qualifier here. While not all Desire dancers do extras, plenty do, but it isn't cheap, at least not for me. Fantasies prices run cheaper but the quality is more or less commensurate with the price.
I wouldn't go to Foxy Lady looking for extras but I did get a HJ downstairs last year. Also had a dancer pull my dick out in VIP at Cadillac once, but I passed on a HJ because she said she'd meet me for OTC afterward if I picked up a condom. No surprise, she stood me up

^Book^ I've given up clubbing in my local area, which almost all happened during afternoons when I should have been working. When business takes me out of town, I plan to keep my hand in.

Before I gave up hitting strip clubs locally 11 days ago, I saw a regular at each of two clubs, occasionally went to two others for a change, and to Purple Orchid when I wanted to get laid quick and wasn’t ready to see a regular again. Also a dancer exclusively OTC. Hanging on to that for now. 15 minute drive from office

Gulf Coast. I’m not your boss.
Professionally, I exist in a pincer movement of social and economic forces that preclude this. One the one hand, the prospects that can potentially steer business my way are all functionaries in publicly traded and/or highly regulated businesses. Putting aside that around half are women, all operate under published Codes of Conduct that broadly prohibit accepting gratuities. That won’t stop them from accepting discrete offers of ballgame tix (especially for the Best Team in Baseball ™) or a lavish “business” meal at a posh steakhouse, but they would be scared shitless that a co-worker would find out they got comped for a trip to the SC.
On the other side, I couldn’t push that expense through because my firm. Like our competitors, operates under a HR regime in which client development opportunities must be available to all professional staff, including entry level women in their mid-20s. Otherwise, it is discrimination. And any hint that a women should entertain a prospective client at a SC screams “hostile work environment”.
I know many on this site would call this “woke BS”, but it is what it is. My firm has paid out plenty in settlement of discrimination and hostile work environment claims, as have our industry peers. It’s like men who weren’t even born when the Kennedys were shot watched Mad Men and assumed it was a muti-part training video.

What CMI says.
I'm cutting out a big chunk of my mongering activities not because of age (though I'm getting up there) but because there is enough associated agita to counterbalance the fun. But it's not a one way door. You can chill out for a bit and you can always go back if you miss it, maybe with renewed enthusiasm. Change of locale can also help

With the right dancer, paid sex is "like regular sex" from the standpoint of the dancer's enjoyment. I don't always hit that mark, but that's definitely what I'm shooting for.

I don’t see FIV as an “extra” per se, but it is even less automatic than boob sucking and has to be approached even more gingerly. It also deserves a generous tip

This may be a controversial take around here but I consider tips to be an integral part of a dancer's economic ecosystem, just like a server at a restaurant or bar. My default is to always tip something unless the dancer tries to cheat me or otherwise messes up. Even if a newbie dancer gives me a totally inept dance (don't know I keep letting that happen) I'll give her something as a confidence booster.
I'll tip reasonably generously on a first LD (don't have many second LDs) if I like the dancer and see her as a good prospect for a future extras VIP. Rarely do non-extras VIPs unless I nutted recently and decide to drink the rest of the night away. Even then, I'll pitch DATY

I thought "extras" were HJ, BJ and FS. I'm continuing to stick by that terminology and not consider oral breast stimulation an "extra".
It's definitely at the dancer's option, though and can't be assumed to be automatic. And the way I go after it is disturbingly similar to what 5footguy said.
