what do younger customers want?

The problem is I don't think we have very many guys under 40 up in these discussions. I think you look good, but I'm over 60. Have you watched who the younger ones spend on, to see if there is any pattern to who banks with them?

Black Male (33) here. I think you are beautiful. I'm going to be as honest as possible because I have been going to strip clubs for almost a decade and I have learned a few things about my own interests and some other men.

First off, body type matters. It varies considerably for different men. You have a slender body with nice size breasts. Some men prefers bigger butts and large breasts.

Next, colorism. As a black woman I'm sure you've dealt with this in some fashion. Some men prefer "yellow bones". I'm not going to lie, I'm as black (or blacker) than you. This isn't something you can change so don't worry about it, but it is a preference thing.

Now my next question is more personal, but it does matter in some situations. Do you have a more polite professional approach or a more "urban" (ie ghetto) approach for younger men. I will say it: some men prefer a particular approach or personality from their strippers. There is a reason that we have mixed strip clubs and black/Latina dominant clubs. Its best to take the approach you believe works best for the clientele you cater to.

Personally I'm not a fan of afros (too difficult to upkeep for me). but that's a personal preference.

Well, the hair is not doing you any favors. Too skinny and not much shape. If thats what you want to do personally then its all good, but for certain businesses it just isnt acceptable no matter what anyone says. Its like someone with a long beard or mullet trying to be taken serious in a business environment. For personal life its fine but in the real world people form opinions and there are decisions made based on those opinions and also based on revenue.

I'm just telling the reality, many clubs get labeled ghetto and never recover. Owners and GMs are hesitant to hire certain people for that reason, same with tattooed girls. Its just a business decision. Nothing more , nothing less, but people try to make it out to be something else.

Its like hiring fat girls, maybe they dont have anything personally against fat girls, but its just not what draws in the money and younger guys tend to not go into strip clubs with disposable money. Mainly stage sitters and maybe they get a dance or 2. If a club gets known for being ghetto or having girls with tatoos everywhere the clubs image is ruined and they cant be seen as upscale.

People can respond and get mad or deny this, but they just anrent being honest or real. I am being 100% honest here.

Also, it's difficult to really see any patterns since I'm usually the only black dancer there or one of two, and from what I see the other black girl has the same general customer base as me (she doesn't look anything like me either. Darker, long straight hair, more athletic build)

Don't wanna assume that younger guys just don't like black women, but maybe the one's going to gentlemen's clubs instead of urban clubs don't.

@-ggofv Nobody in the club would ever consider me ghetto at all whatsoever. The comments I usually get from men and the other dancers (personality wise) are always about how sweet I am, so I know I don't give off any sort of ratchet vibe with my attitude anyway.

@-readytomonger Maybe I'm too skinny for the younger crowd, but being skinny is almost always a positive for a stripper (from what I've seen) so it must be the combination of me being black and skinny. To be fair though, that picture doesn't give my boobs enough credit, but it's the only lingerie pic I had upon posting this.

I'm gathering though that the main issue is with the hair. Gonna have to wrestle with whether I want to make more enough to go through the effort of getting a wig on my head every week vs just leaving it and accepting that only older guys like it. Thanks for the replies!!

Anyone under 40 never saw afros as the common hairstyle that it was in the 70s. That could have something to do with it.

Better to stay that way for your health than try to add weight which seems to be so common among women trying to chase a big booty that has been glorified for a long time. If it is a nude club and you dance bottoms off on stage then a fully unshaven bush could be jarring for younger guys who conceivably have never seen a natural bush in their lifetime, even on porn

Tbh sista u would be a hit with mostly white men. It’s always like that opposites attract..I’ve seen it plenty of times black guys usually go for what’s lighter then them and white guys go for the absolute darkest. It’s the exotic factor. And to answer ur question most young guys want sex. We have lots of testosterone at our age and all we think about is sex. Most older men are looking for more of a connection and conversation

My opinion from a very old white man is that young black men/most black men prefer women with big booty's. Young white men/most white men prefer white women. My advice is stick with the old white men. That is where the money is at.

Keep in mind young men can be stupid. Young women as well, but I don't mean you, because you are questioning things. You are plenty beautiful, full stop. I hope you make enough money from the customers that appreciate you where you won't have to change your core. It always seemed to me the dancers that were comfortable in their own skin stayed saner.

As far as the bush thing, tastes are starting to swing back to some hair being acceptable again. I am pleased about that. But at least you can experiment with that without making permanent changes. It always made me wince when dancers with beautiful natural breasts would get them "enhanced" in an effort to make more money.

May I ask why you are wanting to attract younger customers? I understand wanting to attract younger men outside of the club, but typically older customers have more money to spend in the club (except in cities where younger men make good money in certain jobs like high tech or oil field areas).

As for your look, as a white guy in his early 40s I don't see any issues. I typically look for a girl who is fit (which you obviously are) with at least B Cup (which you appear to have) and a smaller ass (which again you appear to have. I generally prefer girls with slightly shorter shoulder length hair but I have never made my decision of whether to get a dance or not based on a girls hair so that wouldn't stop me. I'm not a fan of a full bush, but again I don't think I have ever turned down dances because of it.

Like others have said, it may be more about the club you are at. If the club doesn't generally have more than one or two black dancers it often struggles to attract the clientele that spends on black girls. Are there other clubs around that you could try?

Body is booming (for me). The hair is attention getting, but could be the main reason the 40% you're looking for isn't nibbling.

Probably can’t help your dilemma, as I am 60 and white. I do like black women a lot, but particular ones. My current celebrity favorites on different age scales are Simone Biles and Tiraji Henson. I like somewhat natural hair, like your fro, and I like petite black women that are trim but still have a little booty.

Not seeking positive validation from that crowd (I don't date/sleep with men under 35 anyway, I'm not personally offended when they aren't attracted to me), just genuinely wondering why they don't spend money on me. I got my answer, since the general consensus seems to be that it's my hair (and partially my body type.) I don't plan on forcing any weight gain but I may start wearing wigs here and there to see if I start making more money. I appreciate the thoughts from everybody.

I should branch out and try other clubs (I've only ever worked at two) but currently I've got an unpredictable schedule and the clubs in my area (DMV) are normally strict about scheduling (working 4 days a week minimum, for example), which leaves the options slim. When I'm out of school I'll probably go full time.

Too bad you're asking a bunch of older guys what younger guys like. The dancers i talk to mostly think younger guys are cheap and a waste of time, so, as another older dude, my advice is not to change a thing. Everything about you seems perfect. I'm over 40, so I can't really answer the question from the perspective I think you want. I can say that I find you very attractive, and you'd absolutely do well with me. If you're ever in south Florida, let us know. I'll gladly buy at least a few dances and see where things go.

I will say that it seems to me that a lot of the younger crowd in the clubs I frequent tend to prefer the thicker girls, especially when it comes to the black girls. That's just based on my observation and what those girls tell me. I go for the slimmer girls, and I almost never find myself competing with the younger crowd for the affections of a stripper.

Generally, I don't see a lot of patterns with guys preferences as they age but the trend towards younger guys liking bigger girls is certainly one of them.

That said, I'm glad you're not considering putting on weight to appeal to that market. It might be worth as you said, trying out a wig to see if that changes things. You could also get waxed and see if that changes things. Personally, I dig the hair on your head and while I don't prefer a bush I'd certainly look past it considering the other positives in your appearance.

One thing that I didn't see mentioned and we can't tell from the pictures, is what your ass looks like. It may go along with the general size thing, but it seems to me that many in the younger age bracket also like bigger assess.

And lastly, as the few posts above me mentioned. Maybe appealing to the older guys isn't so bad. They tend to have more money and are willing to part with it. But maybe that part is just me being selfish.

Idk, I agree with the other comments that younger guys often have lower budgets anyways. But it’s tough for me to give specific advice because younger customers for me seem to be straightforward. They will either spend or they won’t and I don’t do much talking beforehand and they don’t wanna talk too much beforehand either.

All I can think of, is there any pop culture you like? Like maybe wear Marvel earrings or something. Or SpongeBob? Or something anime related? Or any music band. Idk, like present yourself less classy and be more quirky. Maybe if the club only has younger guys, then change outfits from lingerie to more rave-like.

IMHO, the younger (under 40) generation just doesn't have the interest in strip club experiences the way older generations do. Strip clubs are the opposite of the woke agenda the younger generations must adhere to. Heck, you can't even get them to do their 6 figure jobs if it requires going outside their safe space / comfort zone.

Clubs are a fantasy world. Strippers are selling a fantasy; something guys cannot get in the real world. Clubs are also politically incorrect, it is expected for guys to stare at tits, cop a feel, etc. You already know this.

So the question you need to reflect on when you start your shift is, "What fantasy are you trying to create and sell?"

For older men, black or white the fantasy is easy. And the older the man, the easier the fantasy. The fantasy is created by the age difference. In the real world, an older man is not going to have an attractive 20+ woman pay him any attention. (She might even call the cops, if he showed her attention.) In the strip club, he gets that attention and much more. So he is getting something he cannot get in the real world.

For younger men, most likely you would need to have a different fantasy for a black man than you would have for a white man. So as you approach younger men, you need to have to offer something they cannot get in the real world. For example, it might be creating the fantasy of a girlfriend experience for a black man. And for a white man, as you make small talk, it might be creating the fantasy that you prefer white dicks rather than black dicks.
