Kamala, you're FIRED!
Democrats are still using this attack as a cudgel to stop Republicans from campaigning, period.
How does a Green Party member hippie with BLM and LGBT signs across his nudist commune residence in the Castro (i.e. the world's center of gay culture) who makes hemp jewelry become the avatar of the modern GOP?
I'm catching real Jussie Smollett vibes from the whole situation.

@Manuel, I believe Lotus is Israeli, though a lot of them are of Russian descent. She's a smokeshow, all right.
I haven't gotten many dances from Russians, though one Russian bitch tried to clean out my (very naive and sheltered) friend at Club Fantasies a few years ago. She was a hustler all right.
I haven't crossed paths with Russians at the FKKs, though perhaps I will on my next trip. All the FKK girls are straight down to business, though I've never encountered an ROB there--rates and services are pretty standard.

@wld, I can see how you want to monetize this attack a week before an unfavorable election. But you need to be very selective with what you see in order to link it to the right.
The attacker was also a hemp jewelry maker who lived with a nudist activist, longtime druggie with obvious psychiatric issues. In fact, it appears there wasn't a conspiracy theory that he didn't glom onto.
But it might backfire. This also highlights the crime problem in blue cities. After all, if the husband of the Speaker of the House isn't safe in a Dem-run, progressive prosecutor city, who is?

"internal division (which manifests as a range from ace to gender to attempts on politicians' lives"
Should be race to gender to attempts on politicians' lives.
The left needs those issues to make us see each other as something other than fellow Americans.
The "LGB" part of the LGBTQ agenda is passe. Now a faithful gay married man is a square, and you need to support the lopping off of teenagers' tits and cocks not to be a bigot. Gender identity disorder was a 1:10,000 prevalence disease, now it's increased 100-fold because the left needs it to eliminate more institutions (especially the family) that stand between the individual and the state.

@Mate is closest to where I am, though "evolving" sounds anodyne. I'd say "tenuous" or "volatile."
We're facing a number of crises that could go sideways very quickly: (1) inflation and cost of living are causing serious misery, (2) energy with this winter coming (my electric bills are set to double--I can take the shock but many people can't), (3) Ukraine, and (4) internal division (which manifests as a range from ace to gender to attempts on politicians' lives). We're too interconnected to divorce, but I'm concerned about the level of animosity and the feds and states actively looking to punish each other.
That doesn't even get to the smaller local fires like crime waves and urban blight, local educational kerfuffles.
Not all of them are the Democratic leadership's fault, but other than Ukraine they aren't addressing any of them effectively.
While I'm cheering for significant Republican gains, you don't get big majorities these days without some freak shows or just not skilled candidates (Oz, Walker, Masters, Vance) who will eventually annoy you and motivate the opposition.
Also regardless of next week's outcome, there's only so much a divided government can do. It's not like a GOP House/Senate could pass a Republican agenda that wouldn't die on Biden's desk. Their big 2024 pitch is going to be "we're trying to do this, Biden's stopping us, give us Trump/DeSantis/Scott/whoever and we'll implement it." It's my understanding that the 2024 Senate map is very Republican friendly. If shit gets bad, a filibuster-proof majority might not be off the table. Then it'll _really_ be put up or shut up time for the Republican agenda.

Funny, I didn't realize people trying to "subvert democracy" wore costumes rather than tactical gear and rifles.
Your statement is true, just not in the way you think. Inventing scandals to bog down a duly elected administration is more damaging to democracy than a riot which never had a chance to "subvert democracy."
Anyways, keep trying to stoke fear of someone who isn't on the ballot and doesn't even have his preferred tool of communication.*
Meanwhile real people are hurting and gravitate towards issues where Republicans have the advantage. Democrats should think long and hard about why they're losing 2022 like they are, but introspection isn't their strong suit.
*This will be remedied soon. You'll have to cope.

There are some very insecure women out there. I dated one who, after I ate her pussy for 15 minutes, got pissed that I wasn't immediately hard enough for penetration. She didn't so much as touch my dick or give me a minute to touch myself. Just thought the sight of her should be enough.
She turned out to be an entitled cunt in a lot of other ways. Smoking hot, maybe the hottest civvie I've ever banged. But just nasty.
I could see her being offended that a guy used a pill.

"The biggest threat to democracy in this country right now are the pro-Trump election deniers that could potentially support his re-election in two years. This is a demonstrable fact."
No. It's your opinion, fearmongered into you from CNN and MSNBC and ABC and CBS and NBC.
See? I can make the same statements too.
Dems can't run on their record so they gave up a few months ago. It's abortion abortion abortion Trump Trump Trump.
Now your leaders are complaining that Americans have the wrong priorities.
And when you lose in a couple weeks, you're going to double down on Americans not knowing what's best for them, rather than your own fuckups.
And 24 you'll still have Dopey Joe, and a much tougher Senate map to defend.

"The right wing media and politicians run a constant narrative of "the country is in great danger and this is the most important election of our lifetime.""
And the most un-self-aware post of the day goes to wld4tatas.
Newsflash, bro. Your own party is the king of that this cycle. Except you have so little to go on that you have to fearmonger about someone who isn't even running.

Girl I obsessed most about, hot Indian chick who tried to rope me into a cult in college. We lost contact but turns out we have a mutual friend, and I saw she lives in New York and hosts some decently rated LinkedIn news show. Looks pretty good for her age. Good for her.
Girl I lost my virginity to, married with two kids, we're still friends and she's the sweetest lady you'll ever meet. Her kids love pictures of my cat.

Post debate polls haven't come out yet. The consensus, even among Democrats, was that something is seriously wrong with him. This will not help his cause. His fracking flip won't endear him to either side. And his Shawshank Redemption freeing Morgan Freeman quote was just bizarre.
I don't live in PA but all I'd need to know is he'd be a rubber stamp for Schumer, Pelosi, and Biden.

@Ishmael, I see people here (across the political spectrum) who would rather whine than seize control of their own lives.
Dave is a whiner, a complete victim of circumstances beyond his control. I can't think of the last time he initiated or participated in a fun discussion, in a board dedicated to borderline or illicit fun.
If we ran "approval ratings" for TUSCLers, I'm sure he'd be bottom of the list. He has no redeeming features whatsoever, and less charisma than the contents of my cat's litter box.
