I don’t think the club suffers any lasting harm. The news stories omitted some pretty relevant information, the guy who was shot had been breaking into cars at the club, was high at the time and had a weapon on him. Still tragic but nothing happened as a result of anything going on inside the club. The club chose to be closed over the weekend but was told by local police they were free to open whenever and they do have a very good reputation with law enforcement.

I think they brighten or dim the lights in those rooms. I have often had dancers ask me about the lighting and if it was okay.

I have seen that more often. Usually it is either from a dancer’s regular who she was already planning to spend time with or a club regular who is only there a short while. The former will be with the dancer a bit but the latter generally is tipping a lot at the stage but not doing private dances. I have often tipped my measly few few ones and told the dancer I would be interested in some dances if she was available. The dancers know if that rainmaker is gonna spend on VIP or not and will usually let you know if she is going to be free.

Daytime seems to be closer to pre covid entertainment levels. I have heard from friends that nights are extremely hit or miss. Around 2:30 is generally a good time as the second shift is arriving so number of dancers about doubles. Also the limo prices have increased to $250, $370 and $700.

Sadly I think that may be last time you see this country truly coming together. If or when a similar event happens again I’m afraid you will see 40% of the country saying we have to get used to things like that and 40% wanting us to recklessly put boots on the ground immediately to retaliate. Unfortunately there is no leadership on either side to lead us through another 9/11.

If Biden is pushed out they have to run her (absolutely unelectable) or they risk very high drop off in the minority voter turnout. Republicans problem is that trump voters likely stay home if he is not the candidate. It would not surprise me to see RFK and Trump both be 3rd party candidates if they lose in primaries. Just remember that this time 4 years ago Trump was projected to win in a landslide. So much can, and likely will, happen between now and November 2024.
