Asian markets all down big overnight. US futures sharply lower. As of now, looks like Dow will open down another 400 points. Broke below the 50 day moving average today. Looks like more downside to come. Any rebound may be brief and followed by further selling. The 10 year bull market fueled by historically low and manipulated interest rates has to come to an end at some point...

I'm actually kind of doing what Countryman is suggesting here. It wasn't planned, it just evolved this way. I'm a long time SoCal resident who never even went down to TJ for years. I was always in a relationship and happy. Then, as I got older and wound up single, I eventually ventured down to TJ. I wound up making some friends down there and was enjoying myself with all the chicas. As time went on, I realized I was down in TJ 2 or 3 days a week and in my SoCal condo rental only part time. I eventually did the math and said fuck it. Now I live in hotels full time and the cost is the same as my SoCal condo rent. I sleep in either Rizo, Cascadas, or Hotel Caesars when in TJ. Whatever I'm in the mood for. After a few days, if I get sick of TJ, I cross the border and find a good internet deal on a hotel in San Diego, Orange County, or L.A. for a few days. Rinse and repeat. I don't get lonely. Like Countryman, even when I'm not in TJ, I have chicas messaging me. And when I arrive in TJ, I have chicas spending their days and nights with me.
My advice to Countryman is to give it a try if his heart is pointing him in that direction. He can always go back to his house and life in KY if he doesn't like it. His job will allow him to work on the road and he has his truck to sleep in, so why not. Just keep your head straight Countryman. Don't drink too much down in TJ, don't buy or do any drugs there, stay alert, and don't drink the water amigo!

I disagree. Most jobs in Mexico pay between $75 and $125 per week. These HK chicas are making the equivalent of what doctors earn in Mexico. $5,000 or more per month in Mexico is a shitload of money.

They don't have to pay the club to work there. They just have a ficha quota every week. They are required to sell a set number of fichas every week or they get in trouble. I'm not positive, but I think it's about 50 to 70 fichas per week. The club makes about $6 per ficha, so the club makes a lot of money off of the girls selling fichas. Most girls work 5 day weeks, out of the ones I know of.

Also, without all the math involved, a chica I know has told me she earns between 100k to 120k pesos per month and she's showed me all the cash on a weekly basis, so I know she's being honest about it. Houses where she lives sell for about $20k to $50k U.S. and she's in the process of buying her 2nd house now. She's well under 30 and has been doing this for about 3 years now. She works about 6 months a year. She was working a minimum wage job earning about $50 per week before this. She's a single mom, so this has been life changing money for her. I'm glad to see she's buying houses and spoiling her kids instead of partying the money away and wasting it all on clothes

I think that's probably a good month for her because it's summer time and there are months when she makes a little less.
The girls make money from multiple sources. They get paid about $2 for every ficha sold and I believe the target is about 70 fichas per week or the club isn't happy with them. So, let's say about $125 to $150 per week in ficha sales. Let's call it $500 a month to use a round number. The ficha drinks are small, like half-sized bottles of beer.
They also get paid a portion of the lapdance money for lapdances sold. They get about $4 to $6 for each lapdance I heard. Let's call that $100 per month.
They make a lot of money from the dollar feel up tips they get from guys walking around the bar. That money adds up, especially on busy weekend nights. If they dance on stage or do the foam show, they make good tips on that as well. A chica I know gets $5 and occasionally a $10 or $20 stuffed into her garter while she's dancing on the bar. So, let's say $75 a week or $300 a month in tips.
Most of the girls have repeat customers and they will usually do some OTC citas and TLN citas when they aren't working. Most of the hotter girls there can easily get $200 to $500 for a TLN. So, let's just say about $1k a month in OTC.
So, they are up to about $1,900 per month not including arribas. I know for a fact that they keep all of their arriba money and HK doesn't take a cut. HK makes huge amounts of money on their alcohol sales, profiting about $6 for every ficha sold plus whatever they make on drinks sold to guys. Also, the meseros or waiters have to pay HK to work there. They don't get paid by HK and only make $ off of tips. The owners also own the hotel next door, so in addition to nightly rentals, they make money on the short term room rentals as well.
So, let's say she's getting $80 per arriba. Some guys buy an hour or more and will pay $120 and up for a longer arriba. $5,200 for the month minus $1,900 for other income equals about $3,200 for arriba for the month or 40 $80 arribas. Some are repeat customers, but that's about 2 guys per day or 10 per week if they work 5 days.
That's pretty accurate. Chicas I know have told me they average 2 per shift. More on Friday or Saturday, but sometimes only 1 on a slow Monday or Tuesday.

TJ is definitely rough around the edges and run down and seedy in lots of places. However, there are some nice spots. Rosarito is a nice beach area, with a lot of ex-pats, but it's about 30 minutes away. They have a few nice shopping malls filled with nice restaurants that would be similar to what's in the U.S. Galerias Hipodromo and Plaza Rio are two of them. http://galeriashipodromo.com/ They have Cinepolis V.I.P. which are fancy movie theaters with reserved leather reclining seats and waiter service at your seats. It does really depend on the girl, as MW mentioned above. Some of the young hot girls in TJ have attitudes, just like some young hot girls in the U.S. have attitudes. In general though, I'd say latinas are more emotional, which can make them very passionate. If you ever get a latina to genuinely have feelings for you, they can be incredibly sweet, passionate, jealous, possessive, fun, and angry depending on the situation. Sometimes you'll witness all of these various emotions within an hour. For a while, I thought the chica I was involved with was bi-polar, but after speaking to other guys, I've found out a lot of latinas are like that.

Thursday nights are great. I like Monday through Wednesday best for the guy to girl ratio though. Girls seem more relaxed and less rushed.
I don't go on Friday or Saturday nights any more, because it is too crowded. However, I recommend checking it out one time. It's jaw dropping to see how many 9's are walking around in there on a Friday or Saturday night. You'll get whiplash turning your head to check them all out. Lots of eye candy.

The HK girls create their own schedules. They have to work a minimum of 5 days per week, including a Monday or Tuesday, but they can pick whatever days they want.
If they don't put in enough days or work a Monday or Tuesday, management won't let them work Friday or Saturday night without paying a fine.
I believe there are 3 shifts each day. 10am to 6pm, 4pm to midnight, and 8 am to 4am. They can work longer, but they need to arrive on time and be dressed and on the floor by the start of one of those shift times.
So, if you arrive a little before 4pm or 8pm, you should be able to see a bunch of girls arriving for the new shift.
After meeting a girl for the first time, it may be tough for you to get her to go to the beach with you the next day, because she may not know you well enough yet. However, if she wants to, she can easily take off from work the next day if she chooses to.
I have a chica who I see regularly there. I've seen her for a long time now, so she's told me all about the scheduling system. I started out seeing her only at HK, but now I only see her outside the club. She'll skip work at the last second on a M, T, or W if I'm heading down. If I can't make it, she'll go to work that day. She doesn't need to call in or anything. She just shows up or she doesn't.
Countryman's chica is okay. She's not ugly, and I'm not knocking her, but there are a LOT of girls much hotter at HK. Scroll through the two pages of Chica Notes pics under HK or check out the thread on Hermosillo chica and you'll get an idea of some of the hotties you can find at HK. There are a variety of restaurants on Avenida Revolucion, walking distance from all the bars. If you don't want to leave the hotel though, Uber Eats delivers from dozens of restaurants right to your hotel. There is also a Domino's Pizza nearby that will deliver to your hotel.

Google translate helps. Also, you can find a waiter who speaks English. There are several. You can tip the waiter to sit with you and translate. The waiter (mesero) may even find you a girl that speaks English. Some of the girls speak some English, but not a lot.

I'm with Anislee. My experience in TJ has been much different than that of Rick and Pistola. I'll agree with Rick on a couple of things. TJ smells. Mostly due to the polluted river, but some parts of the city smell bad too. Also, the hotels that those street girls work out of are pretty crappy. Other than that I disagree with him.
For starters, the hotel rooms at Cascadas and Rizo de Oro, where the HK girls go are actually pretty nice. The hotel went through a remodel. Here are pictures of the rooms. You can see for yourself?

As for girls, I don't go for street girls, but I've walked closely by plenty of them on multiple occasions and never noticed a bad smell. As for club girls, I don't remember ever having a smelly girl. They almost always smell like soap or perfume, in my experience.
Most of the U.S. girls that Rick is referring to have drug problems, are working 24/7 365 days a year and probably putting themselves in lots of risky situations to score their next fix. A lot of the girls in TJ are single moms, who don't work year round and just fly into TJ for a month at a time to work, before flying back home to take care of their family. Some do drugs, but not a lot in my experience.
If you can't speak Spanish, you're definitely not going to connect with the girls. If you know some Spanish, especially if you have a sense of humor and can make the girls laugh, you are much more likely to connect with the girls and have a much better experience. If you get a room for the night at Rizo or Cascadas, you don't have to worry about a knock on the door.
TJ isn't Beverly Hills, but I think the author of the System had a much worse experience than most.

The restaurant across the street from Adelitas is called Monte Carlo. Before that it was called Sonora Grill. Never heard of Loncheria Buen Amigo. Just looked it up. Google Maps shows a Loncheria Buen Amigo, but it looks like that photo was from over 5 years ago. Is this a real article or did you just make it up to get a free membership or something?
