Tijuana Explored: Good Eats, Bad Descisions
It is pretty much taken for granted that the best club in TJ is the Hong Kong Club. And depending on the frequency of your visits and timing of your visits the membership for 50 bucks is a good deal. I got curious about some of the other clubs and some of the other options on my last trip. This is sort of a review of my lessons learned in trying to work a deal with some of the other options along the street.
Nice restaurant across from adelitas, "Loncheria el Buen Amigo" had a few 35MN negro modelos, best beer price on the street. Food was great, about 160 pesos total.
Walking around the block that the club is on you will see a bunch of other women plying the worlds oldest profession. The one I tried was at the Hotel Garcia, her come on was "Suckie Fuckie, only $25," plus 200 Peso for the room. The lesson learned was know what you want, stike a deal, and don't change the deal in the hotel room. Your will come up short. Also don't be drunk you are easy picking for the working girls. In a worse case scenario you lose money, just remember it is only money, pay and get out with your lesson learned.
In my case I started at $25/200mn, when I got to the room she said 20 minutes. More money equal more time. I asked for the hour, she said $20 for her, and 400mn for the hotel. Had the deal gone down that way I would have been fine. after we were done she said $40 for here, and 400mn more for the room.
I figured better to pay and go. Bring a note pad next time or just don't reopen negotiations. I would have come out ahead had I simple gone with the 20 minutes, and left. Instead i got a mediocre hand job, and wasted time getting ripped off.
I went back to the HK club, and the one I really wanted was there. My bad play. learn from my mistake.
If I had a do over, I would have still eatan lunch at the restaurant, just skipped the hotel Garcia worker and stayed with the Hong Kong Club.

In my case, my time ran out due to an extended front room makeout session with a street girl. We were on our way to the back room but got carried away in the front room. You know how that goes.
I probably will head back down this week some time, to get the info.
Some have made it sound like it is for them quite common.
Escorts of Mexico talks at length about doing TLN's with street girls, sounds like it is often okay, though this may depend on getting to them late enough at night.
And yes, the side walk is not so conducive to preliminary makeout sessions. This is a disadvantage of the street, not of the girls themselves, but of the sidewalk venue. Seems like probably you could take the girl for food, then into LC to dance with her. That by all accounts has even more tongue than the HK bar. Then to TLN.
But of course it all depends, and you don't actually know the girl.
One has posted about coming for a second visit and meeting up with his girl from last time, and she insisting on TLN. Getting that friendly with a street girl could have some advantages over the same with a bar girl.
There could still be room for improvement in that TJ Zona, but even as it is, it sounds like a Heavenly Paradise.

I wonder if someone has done a map of the TJ zona Rosa. Then links to reviews of the places. For example Los Chavellos relaxed atmosphere, but a locals place.
It seems like the Chicago Club is trying to make a comeback but they have sort of inexperienced atmosphere. On the back street behind the Hong Kong Club I went to two of the clubs across the street one was real good at pushing beers and the other one was basically empty. To be fair remember it was a Monday night. La Carreta was the place that was good at pushing beers two for one the ladie's beers were also $8. The gold palace was empty.

i’ve enjoyed a few street girls. i usually take them to my room in Cascada.
New SGs often can't go to your hotel becuz their host hotel is holding their ID card.
And talk about good food, don't forget the famous beef taco stand on the left corner of HK, they closed 4am-9am. And next to them is the 24hrs seafood taco stand. And next to them is the electronic stand, lost phones are probably buy & sell here.

Cause that would make it great. That preliminary makeout session is not practical on the sidewalk. But that is what it takes to make the arriba / TLN awesome.

In one visit you know more in a practical sense than those who have researched the hell out of the subject for 5 plus years.
Nothing captures the Zona Norte than being there, I've been going there regularly for the past 9 months and I don't think I've even scratched the surface.
