$$ is king. Dressing well will get you some more dancer attention and approached more than you'll get approached wearing gym shorts at nicer clubs but $$ is more important to dancers than dress code. And agreed on not wearing jeans - if you're wearing pants not shorts, wear softer cotton slacks, the girls appreciate it.

This one wasn't sad, but it was funny and funny enough to share. Last month I was in a nicer topless club in my geographic area, not one of the dumps. It was before 10 PM, so the place wasn't hopping yet. I go to say hi to the VIP area bouncer/manager who's a cool guy and I see him reading some super drunk ass custy the riot act and forcing him to throw soiled towels and cleaning supplies into a trash can before being escorted outta the club. I asked what was up and the bouncer says that guy had left a VIP room with a dancer after time was up, was drunk as hell and wandered into an adjacent VIP room thinking it was the bathroom and unloaded his bladder all over the room and then the bouncer made him clean it up. I go to the bar to get a drink and 10 min later I see the main club manager (not just some floor guy, the manager) wander past in his suit and tie wearing Playtex gloves all the way up to his elbows with an armful of cleaning supplies and wet towels, he had just finished cleaning up the remainder of the piss room himself. Later that night before I take my fave to different VIP room I told her about it and we laughed our asses off. Neither of us will ever set foot in that piss room again (or, at least not me, I suppose she has less of a choice than me).

Wish I knew.
After leaving 3 or 4 reviews, I had a level 3 rating.
BJ99 has posted over 1400 comments and has 30+ trusts and yet she has a level 4 rating.
All that to say, the level rating system is a mystery to me.

I have finally pressed ignore on SJG - waited too long. After first reading his mantra about front room make out sessions, I kept my eyes peeled for 10+ club runs to see if anyone was achieving the front room stuff he promotes - I'd never observed it before and figured geez I just must not be paying attention. What he says simply does not exist in SF Bay Area - not in the front room, not on the floor, not in VIP chairs. It does sometimes occur in private rooms and is fun as hell when it does, but it's either super rare or simply does not exist in the SF Bay Area where he says it does.
With the ignore button now safely on, I'll never have to waste time reading the nonsense again.

I'll give you context from the other end of your spectrum – that being the guy who monopolizes one dancer's time, the guy you'd like to punch.
I am going to see my favorite tonight. She is sizzling hot, a blonde Russian (I prefer brunettes, actually, but for some reason she does it for me). She is super cool, unpretentious, and good fun to talk with.
I'll be in the club tonite about 4 hours. I don't send out the floor guy search party for her. She will find me, or I will casually find her. I don't text her saying hey I'm almost there, be ready for me. If she's up to something else when I arrive, no prob, I'll drink and enjoy the scenery until she emerges.
From the time she joins me til the time I depart, I estimate there's a less than 1% chance she will seek or accept a dance from another PL. Why? She's not stupid. I spend a lot of $ on her. It helps that I amuse her (at least I think I do. I'm not the most or least young, handsome, or fit guy in the club. When I see her (once, maybe twice a month), we do a VIP room, ranging from a half hour to 1.5 hours depending on how much money I have and how buzzed I am. I tip her very well, well enough that if I were to say how much every PL on this site may call me a fucking idiot. Perhaps (no, probably) I am but hey, it's my money and I like her. I've never asked or suggested that she not do dances with others while I'm there. If she did, I'd probably be annoyed, but hey she's at work, I should be able to comprehend that.
My counsel is that if you've got a major boner for this dancer then change your hours of appearance at the club when the other guy's not there. If you're unable to do that, consider doing yourself a favor and focus on a different girl.
And thank God there's plenty threads on this site with dozens of PLs urging to not get emotionally involved - gives me a much needed, post-clubbing dose of reality because for a few days after I see her I can't get her out of my mind. I should probably get tattooed on my forearm the definition of PL from the TUSCL glossary: "Pathetic Loser - get a grip, she's not in love with you, she just wants your money. All of it." With my fave, I wish the definition weren't true but if I'm being real with myself, of course it's true. Damnit!! Reality Bites Ass!!

Perhaps they've changed the length of songs now, but the 2 times I've been there, once this year and once last year, the songs seemed short and so I timed some - no songs longer than 3 min and there were multiple in the 2:20 to 2:40 range. That makes it pretty expensive even if you're getting the 2-for-1

The only time I went to TJ, I was walking out of PedWest lot after parking and asked a returning group of 3 guys where the pedestrian bridge is. They pointed the direction and in unison loudly and unsolicitedly exclaimed, “Negotiate!!”

Great review, nice detailed writeup, as always.
Sucks to get ROB overcounted. Not that you need my coaching, but based on ROB experience, if I’m certain how many songs it was, rather than trying to reason with her to be honest, I just tell her nope that was X songs and that ends it with no objection from her cuz she knows she got caught.
Glad it ended well for you. I wish you liked spinners so I could benefit from the intel!
