I don’t mind if someone outright shares a success, or some awesome idea they’ve had, or a lucky break. What I find annoying is when ppl have use it as a way to kinda put other ppl down, w sneaky implications, rather than just celebrating, or sharing.

I think the biggest incorrect assumption pls make ab these texts is that they are the only one getting them. I would just completely ignore after she asks for money. If you haven’t seen her in months, you can be sure she’s sending the same text to every customer in her phone, and waiting to see who bites.

^ I actually think that makes it more reasonable. If I was a PL, I’d consider what I spend overall. As a dancer, I consider my time and effort overall. I don’t charge for meals out, sexy pics, and rarely my time ITC, but it all has to even out w what they wind up spending.

The trick is to never do it. Make up an excuse. She’s texting her other customers, so let them deal w it. “Awe babe. I’m so sorry to hear that. I really can’t help you.” And ignore subsequent texts. Also, there’s no reason to ever answer her phone calls. Dancers do this to each other too, when they get desperate.

It makes sense to buy her a drink if you will be spending time w her and would like to drink together, if it’s instead of tipping (some guys who hang out at the bar never tip on stage, or buy dances, but will buy a couple of girls drinks during their stay), or if she truly wants one and you want to make her happy (you can always reduce her other tips, if you must). It does not make sense to get her a drink if the waitress is the one pushing it, or if the girl declines at first. Mistakes do happen. It’s possible that you buy her a drink and one of her appointments shows up early, or you turn out to not like her.

^ I concur. I honestly think I may average more on day shifts than I would on night shifts, with a fraction of the whale hunting, cut throat managing. I have worked late and made big money fast. It’s a little scary. I don’t want to become a lazy whale hunter. It’s like a gambling addiction to them.

If I’m in the mood for a drink, like early in my shift, it really improves my mood and I’m more appreciative than I would be of the money as a tip.

There aren’t many ppl you can tell everything. I don’t think we’d usually tell you what we really think, if it’s bad tho.

The girls there on the busy nights bennefit from the cheer squad effect. They look amazing all together, but when you pull one aside, shes just okay. The same girls do come in on days, and may not get noticed at all, since day shift requires more personality. The busy night are mostly hype and it’s part of the atmosphere.

It’s not necessarily true that the best women are there on the busiest days. Not all strippers are equally desperate for the money, and busy nights are like a whole different job, than just working days, or even weeknights. Everyone knows that strippers take off plenty of work and miss out on income. Working days is no different. I’d rather make a little less, but have a pretty normal schedule and get to be home w my son and boyfriend in the evenings. Even when I was younger, I danced for a month, and I quickly developed asthmatic type cough from the smoke on busy nights. I’d actually argue that the few regular day girls at my club are better looking than most of the night girls (tho we do have a constant rotation of new girls, and night girls who come in to work doubles). Anyone can make money on busy nights, but you have to be pretty good to consistently make money on days.

They tell us too! Lol. I guess it’s hard for them to see the dancers making so much money, and they can get jealous. Plus, they have the same stigma just for working there. Every girl has someone, or some group, they compare themselves, and talk shit ab, to so that they don’t feel like the worst sluts.

Maybe it’s different other places, but most of the waitresses and bartenders at my club try to act like they aren’t strippers, bc they are better than us. I’m sure they are always telling ppl “I’m a waitress at a strip club, but I could never do that. I’d never take my clothes off or money!”

I was thinking ab this, and for some reason, there seems to be more non-fat girls w big boobs on day shift at my club, both younger and older, real and fake, kids and no kids. I really can’t imagine why. Especially, more girls w fake ones. Kinda weird.

I think anywhere the girls make a lot of money. Seems like most of the girls get them when they can afford them, or find a sugar daddy. The lower end clubs in town feature almost no big/big fake titties, bc the girls who have them opt to work at the club where can get paid the most. By this logic, I’d suggest trying the clubs with the better looking dancers, and lower value in any area.

I hate hearing cusotmers’ sob stories. Some girls will sit there and listen to it all day, but I get bored and it brings me down, unless someone is looking for solutions. (I have few female friends and rarely call my mother bc of this issue also. :/ )

It’s happened to me once that I know of. The guy was pretty drunk and I forgot until way later.
