You can have an upvote feature on discussions. And on the tooltip show who all have upvoted the discussion. Also needed would be sort by upvoted & date-range combination.

The best acting involves crossing the line between acting and living it. You can choose to believe either way and might never know.

Random is right. However I think SA is safer and better, even cheaper maybe for straight outta BP girls. Girls assume the SA mongers are serious and have money.

The 2000 recession was caused not by the housing bubble but hedge funds buying cheap CDSs with huge rewards in case of defaults (even when they had no stake) . The big brokerages were selling huge MBS products and buying (and getting hedge funds) to buy short positions against them. Hedge funds are now deep in the game. One redemption from 1 fund of a million bucks (less than 700 coins) can rattle the market. It will be interesting to see how many transactions of more that 1 bitcoin trade daily, even though the transactional value is 400 million.

I want to just buy cheap ( C-H-E-A-P) options for the black swan event. Something like a strangle like 5000 and 50,000 for a 500-1000 dollars. Go to LedgerX.com check compliance they have product listing. Its simply option on BTC mostly.

The market pauses for sometime after 7% and 13% for the rumors to settle, but on occasions after the pause it starts to fall again.... panic selling is very common, especially because traders dont want to touch that thing once it makes unpredictable move, small fish cannot cover the gap. Remember when ethereum went to 13 cents at night and bounced back the next day?

Thanks. @ Dougster, I take my word back on options. LedgerX got approved by CFTC last month and allows trading options but the implied volatility is over 100% , case in point S&P volatility is 6.7% and the iv for Lehman’s was 65% just before bankruptcy.

@Dougster check how many times the value fell below 20%, every time it did it did not stop before retracing to 50%. The implied volatility for normal stocks, and indexes is same both ways, but not for bitcoin. CME is launching bitcoin futures starting tomorrow and no brokerage is allowing to short it. Think about it. Just find me anyone who will sell a put option 20% in the money or even out for bitcoin.

Life is full of regrets ... or rationalizations on any path you choose...It is better to remind yourself why you made the decision (whatever it was) again and again.

    Strip Club Nation
    Everyday Low Pricing
@sinclair .. Walmart benefits from econmies of scale on consumer staples... sc’ing is consumer discretionary, like airline tickets. The capacity is limited, number of clubs, number of dancers and is very liable to be dynamically priced. Everyone is fleeced for as much as they can cough up by controlling supply. There is an equilibrium between pricing and supply with respect to demand and the clubs will probably make the same (or less) if they do a blanket 2 for 1. So why choose the scare model—- I think it gives more control over both the workers ( strippers) and the customers through pricing. Another reason is no club would want to be branded as cheap, that attracts negative attention from some lowly gents, and girls would prefer to work in more upscale places where they can upsell.

    Tax reform
Why not exempt the first 100k of personal income (ordinary), and increase tax on capital gains ? Direct /Income tax is very harsh on the average family or person. Decreasing the corporate taxes is plain dumb. They could be given rebates for various policies and research rebate and other incomes. Especially because the pricing for goods and services is dangerously high, in the name of R&D and Intellectual Property. Why cant they just provide an exemption for R&D under 15% limit (adding up to 35) and enforce a stricter pricing profit margin range. Drug pricing is an extreme case.

    Rob or just a hustler?
I chose to differ, unless you took the second one and it was not good, its just a hustle...especially because we don’t just say upfront that I will take 2 dances and not more... they want you to get multiple dances, I would have taken the second one and then known for sure but its a gamble either way.
