Nice review, PAFBABS. Over the half dozen years I've been going to TJ, Chicago Club has been hit or miss, but generally on the upswing. I've definitely had some experiences here that match your description of sitting with groups of girls all vying for your attention, being very handsy and allowing roaming with very few, if any, restrictions. A couple of times here, I have taken two girls upstairs together. But then I've also been here when there were not that many girls out on the floor. No cover charge, so what do you have to lose? If there aren't enough girls working, just check out some of the other nearby clubs and come back later.

^ I totally agree with Redbaron12 when he said, "In my opinion its a much better bet to walk into HK and see a live menu right in front of your face than risk calling as escort and taking whatever shows up." And everything he said after that. So many pretty girls to choose from in HK, and they are immediately available to take upstairs.

Ace, TUSCL doesn't have much in the way of rules (thankfully), but you might want to read through the FAQs. Among them is this: Do you know where [insert dancer name here] works now? She used to be at [insert club name here]. No. Don't even ask this question.

Techman, you're right. I forgot to include the cost of VIP dances. They are $20-$25 per song, depending on the girl. Obviously, a better value at $20 than $25, but still, not bad.

This is a fantastic, well-written review. Dtuscl, everything you said coincides with my experience during my one-and-only visit here last June, including all the good things you said about Skittles. You are right when you say "This is what TUSCL was meant for." I recommended this place in a PM to NIPfan, and *I* had visited based on a helpful PM from IRman. Without that, I would never have known about it.

"There's a long wall on the men's side with several urinals, including a child height one. Not sure why that was there." That came in handy the other night when I brought my son in for his first-ever visit to a strip club. He just turned ten.

FYI, at this place not only will the bartender remove her top for a $5 tip, if it's not too busy they are also available for dances in the back.

I have been to 31 of the 50 clubs on the list. That said, I have never been to the one that is less than 30 minutes from where I live. And from the reviews of it on TUSCL, I won't bother.

Excellent, well-written review. Having been there quite a number of times myself, I felt your descriptions of both the club and the opportunities for delightful debauchery were spot-on. Glad you had a good time. Can't wait until I can get back to the west coast and the adventures that await just south of the border.

@RiskA, in my experience, except for the tip to the driver, the price paid (up front to the club) is all-inclusive, and the girls do not expect a tip on top of that. Of course, a tip to the girl is always appreciated, but there will not be an expectation of the kind of tips you're talking about. As always, check with the girl beforehand to make sure what she's comfortable doing and what her expectations are. FWIW, I have found the girls here to be straightforward about these things.

"She said she heard that the justification for these quotas had been wanting to keep the number of Black male patrons to a minimum." FYI to club owners: I am white and am more likely to patronize a club with dancers of a variety of colors -- especially black ones. Just sayin'.

Really great review, sooperflysnooka. It's such an odd building, and your description of it is spot on. It's an odd club in many ways, and I think your review captured the vibe perfectly. I was here one time, on a Friday afternoon; parking was tight, the club was busy, and I got quite a few $5 dances. I think I was the only white person in the building, but neither I nor anyone else seemed to care. I do wish there was more privacy for dances, but if you go in knowing there is not, fun can still be had for $5 or $10 a dance. Thanks for posting.

Just as shadowcat said -- "Nothing worse than TUSCL crashing just as you hit the enter button and you lose your whole text of your review" -- after that happened to me once, I started composing reviews using a separate editing program, then copying and pasting. In part because I hate Microsoft Word, my go-to program is the very latest version of a word processing program that existed long before MS Word took over the market. That said, I will refrain from mentioning it by name in the hope of lessening the chances of TUSCLers responding with "OK, Boomer..." 😁

Very nice write-up of one of my favorite places. I'm curious about one statement, though: "crappy bathroom ive never gone in". If you've never gone in it, how do you know it's crappy? (You're right, by the way. LOL)

I looked at that site to see where Dave is coming from on this. On the site, the guy who created it said, "... as someone who’s earned his living as a journalist for over 35 years, occasionally with a front row seat on the inner workings of government, I’m a subscriber to the cock-up theory of history." I guess that explains why it's being cited here on a forum dedicated to strip clubs.
