I hear you. And I gather that that is how it works. People use their positions to squeeze out extra money. You have to learn to work with such people.
Better if it were just like that between you and the women, not involving anyone else. But it can never be completely like that.

I still find all these rules very confusing. And I am not clear that they are really rules, as opposed to just staff person's whim.
And then with the SG and what hotels they have contracts with and what that really means, I find it more confusing.
Best if the women can just make their own decisions.

Tetradon, conning is there anytime there is misrepresentation. Such misrepresentation is prohibited by law. We want people to go to college because it is good for our society. But the results have often not been good. We need to correct this. We can't have college saddling people with debt, just to lower taxes for the rich.
There are also laws about multi-level marketing, its just that they are hard to enforce because the MLM people are so completely taken in.

Tetra, people who think like you do, judging only on future income, are not going to make for a good science program. Social Approval, this is the anathema of learning, and it is how Strivers and FratBoys think. Good people get conned into academic programs and occupations controlled by such.
We are all already entitled, as we should be.
FratBoys go into things that get them pats on the back.
Am I bitter? Well I was slow to recognize the ways one has to be on guard against falling under the thumb of FratBoys and Strivers. But no I am not bitter. At this point they are the ones who are licking their wounds.

A well written detailed review. And I would agree that that is one of the Funky Zones in Santa Barbara, but not the only one.
Over all, reviewers have not liked this club. And the prices are high.
I would say that you don't want to take a girl into a private room or even into a dance booth until she is delivering in the front room. Generosity and charm, and get a front room feel up and make out session going. Only after that is happening do you take her into any VIP room. And then get her outside ASAP to continue.

BTE, maybe you are interacting with these girls, stimulating them, in a way they find unpleasant.
You can meet a girl in a strip club. And on that first meeting things might go quite far. But after that you want to be bedding down with her ASAP. You want to be in situation where you and she can interact more freely. Outside is the best. But the front room is better than buying dances. Buying dances is a gimmick and a chump's game.

People get conned into college loans. They maybe of legal age, but they are being sold something my misrepresentation.
And Mark94, the American Dream has long been out of reach for a majority of Americans, even college graduates. And like Van Jones said, college and homeownership used to be the gateways to the middle class. But now they have been turned into the trap door to financial collapse.
I agree with what Icey has said on this thread.
And Tetradon, you talk about 4 years of science. Well if those classes has people in them who think the way you do, they must not have been very good classes, because you are only thinking about future income. You are talking about classes with Strivers and FratBoys, approval seekers. Good people get tracked into those sorts of classes. Science does not work that way.

California has been turned into The Republic of Mental Hygiene. When Republicans scare people by talking about Crime, Immigration, and Abortion, then Democrats can talk about Mental Health.
And so far it doesn't seem like anyone has figured a way of responding to this. Usually the strengths of each of the two major parties will be about equal. But CA, at the state level has come pretty close to being a one party state.
So talking about "Mental Health", they make it sound so compassionate. But really they are completely taking over people's lives with neither cause nor due process.
Our economic system squeezes more and more people out of it, and so instead of changing how things work, we just designate the people at the bottom as suitable for drugging and containment.
Mental Health is always those who have power using it to subjugate those who do not.
And so we have the families of those who have been tracked into the Mental Health System clamoring for more intrusiveness, for more elimination of rights, for making it more involuntary.
And we read of Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg, his daughter being fed into the Mental Health System at the age of 13, and her being shipped off to Oregon.
Usually besides the drugging, the system will have to convince you that your mental illness is real. "Bipolar". And the system needs bipolar because the way schizophrenia has been conceived, it would be hard to imagine it in an adolescent. And the system needs autism too, because it would be hard to conceive of bipolar in a child before adolescense.
Usually the "Mental Illness" designation will be the result of some identity conflict with the parents. And in this case the daughter was said have eventually had a remarkable 'Recovery". Generally what this will mean is that she eventually found that her parents, the mental health establishment, and their religious community were impossible to oppose, she had to cave in and accept that her "mental illness" was real.
And so you have a political contingent intent on using the idea of mental illness to take rights away from whomever they can.

College loan is stupid, but people are conned into it. We need a very much different kind of higher education.
Everyone should be entitled to college, and to study what they want, and we should not be looking at it as being on someone else's nickel or as some kind of a social debt to be repaid.
And college loan debt should be off loaded on to higher upper income tax payers and finding ways to make the lenders eat some of it.
The most useful education is that which most resonates with the student.

What you are describing is harder and more constrained financial times than any reasonable person would expect. Costs too high, too many bills having to be deferred.
And there is still the issue that people are led to believe that they will be able to use their skills, when all to often the find that they have been reduced to merely job seekers.
