Get your passport. Don't bother renting a car... There's transportation available. Take the blue trolley down to the border at San Ysidro and walk across and show your passport to Mexican customs. Hopefully the Hong Kong Zona shuttle limo or van or Town Car will be readily available after you walk out of Mexican customs. I tip the driver $2 usually... I have even walked to the club from the border a number of times. The club is within two blocks west of the arch. It's about a mile walk.

And I guess I should add that the westbound Coahulia is not getting dug up.
