Hidden Gem in Jay, Maine

The club is difficult to find without GPS, and even then you'll miss the place if you blink. There's plenty of parking, though tight on a Saturday night. The cover charge is $10, after the bouncer asks you to empty your pockets and wands you (safety first).

The place feels a tad small, with two billiard tables on the left near the bar. I'm not sure if the bar does a lot of mixed drinks, but there's beer, soda and snacks. Always tip the bar lady, she's awesome.

Several tables make a semi-circle around the small stage. Next to it is the Jaybird Cage. The ladies dance on or two at a time on the stage and the cage simultaneously. A few bucks will get them to dance in front of you from the stage. A $20 gets them to climb down and dance on my lap for a brief but fun moment.
