How much do you give out on tip walks?

So I guess aggressive tip walks are increasingly the norm now. How much do you guys usually give to the girls on these?

$1 is fine. I don't do $2, they might ask you for that. I gotta say I guess you don't have to tip anything but it's sort of taboo not to in a tip walk club, that's just kind of way of the things are in those places.

$1 base, $2+ if her show was particularly engaging/enticing.

If I give her $1, and she proceeds to pull the side of her panties or bra strap for another $1, she gets nothing on future tip walks. Suddenly I feel the need to use the restroom as she ends her set each time.

I recently had a girl say to me "that was an awful lot of starting for just a dollar", then proceeded to call me an AH as she walked away, after she performed her entire set with bra and panties at a nude club, and I was seated far away from the stage, at the bar. Sure, I WAS watching her dance, but where else was I supposed to look? At myself in a mirror? That's all the money she got from me that night, as she observed me later seated stageside generously tipping the girls who got nude, just as I had done with the girls prior to her set.

You don't get nude at a nude club....you get only the cursory $1 tip.

The best girls don't need to ASK FOR / DEMAND more than $1...they earn more by giving good stage shows and/or engagement. Simply standing in front of a me and staring while they wait for me to shower her with monetary affection doesn't cut it.

Tip walks are just a very bad idea. They need to be abolished because every girl expects a tip regardless of the quality of her show. Some don't deserve a tip, not even a dollar. And when I pay a cover charge there is the expectation that I will see a show and not be forced to pay again and again through tip walks. Tips should be reserved for girls who can rock my world.

I don't like places that do this either, and tend to avoid them. I think there's some kind of Inverse Tip Walk Axiom: the mileage in the LD room is likely to be lower in places with a tip walk. So there's many reasons to avoid such clubs.

But if I'm there, I don't want to be a stingy bastard so I'll throw out a dollar to everyone who comes by, and maybe a few more if I was really impressed.

If the tips are required I may do as little as $1 a song. When there are dancers I like and I'm actively watching them on stage I'll walk up and tip, then still do the $1 a song if they walk by afterward. Sometimes they'll just say thank you and not ask for another tip, but I don't make a big deal out of it if they do.

I'm not crazy about tip walks. Full stop. But it does help keep dancers I'm not interested in from trying to talk with me because they get the vibe during their rounds.

Common in the DC area for years. Luckily not everywhere.

I tip $1-$3. If you're with a big group of people it's easier to get away with not tipping every time.

Fortunately there aren’t many clubs left around here that still have tip walks, it’s easy to just avoid them.

@Ishmael, you must not go to Sticky Mickey's. At least that's the only dollar parade I know of in town. Not the best lookers but they earn their buck.

Anyone acts entitled, they get zilch.

Never has much experience with tip walks but what I did have and disliked was The Crazy Horse Saloon, now called Rumors. In addition to dancers on 1-3 stages they had them dancing on the bar top and as the dancers moved along the bar they would stop in front of you, totally nude, and expect a tip. $1 was enough but when there were only a few customers sitting at the bar they could stop in front of you 2 or 3 times during 1 song. I rarely go there anymore but when I do, I don't sit at the bar.

Yeah getting hit multiple times a song would suck.

I asked basically the same question recently:
https://tuscl.net/discussion/84837#comme…

But the answers in the two threads don’t totally match. Answers here imply $1 tip is fine. Answers in my thread implied $1 tip is a blow off just go away tip. Maybe I’m missing something to explain the disconnect.

a buck, more if she actually gets full nude in a full nude place.

I avoid the tip walk clubs for the most part. If I end up at one, I'll usually tip a buck unless she was particularly entertaining or I'd like to talk to her further, then I'll give her a few more.

Unless you have the same exact same guys in both threads contradicting themselves then there really isn't a disconnect you just got two different samples. As a practical matter, in US dollars the smallest denomination were carrying is $1 so that at a minimum is what a dancer will get from me. I tip $1 a song by default because it's easy to track and I'm not constantly having to hunt down change. If a dancer catches my attention then I'll tip more at the stage. But if another customer is tipping $1 per dancer it's his money and I don't tell another guy how to club. Same deal if he's tipping more than me.

Depends on whether or not I enjoyed her on stage. If so, a buck or two. If not, nothing.

If I'm interested in dancers or whatever else the club offers, I'll tip her more.

Despite what any dancer or club says, tipping is *never* required. It might be a good idea, but they cannot compel you to do it. So if they want to kick me out and lose *all* of my business rather than just a buck or two here and there, no problem.

In a standard one dancer at a time, two songs per stage set, I’ll tip $3 for most dancers. Drop it to $2 for girls who throw off some vibe that turns me off. At $3 a dancer it may cost me $30 an hour, which is a lot. If they go to two dancers at a time, I’ll drop the amount.

@wallanon - excellent point that the disconnect could be due to different people answering in the two threads. So I went back and compared answers for people who responded in both threads. I’ll summarize my findings but note most gave more nuanced answers than my brief summary.

Dolfan here: $1 unless he likes her
Dolfan my thread: $3-10
Shout out to Dolfan for the line in my thread that made me lol - “[at some places] a buck for tip would be taken more like spitting in the girls face and calling her a diseased rhino”

funonthaside here: $1 unless he likes her
funonthaside my thread: $1 as a courtesy/go-away tip
I guess that is pretty much the same answer though $1 seemed to have more negative implications in my thread. He’s very consistent in despising the “she proceeds to pull the side of her panties or bra strap for another $1” tactic.

Hank Moody: consistent $3 assuming 1 dancer on stage at a time doing 2 or 3 song sets and adjusting accordingly.

So not much of a disconnect for the common answerers. Just a little lower here than my thread. Maybe a reason that answers tended to be higher in my thread is I didn’t use the term “tip walk”. I think “tip walk” has a negative connotation so people are more inclined to say $1 is fine to tip for a tip walk.

I just realized that with all my obsessing over comparing the two threads I never answered myself. I’ve been tipping $2 as my standard. I’ll drop it to $1 if the dancer isn’t my type or sometimes if the same dancer makes more than one round after a set. On the flip side I’ll tip $3+ if a dancer really does it for me. My standard used to be $1 but I upped it based on the answers in my thread.

If you're sitting right at the stage and can look up and see pussy in your face, you probably should tip her after 3 songs. That's why I don't sit there. I may be at a SC, but not interested in looking like a super simp, in with the crowd gathered around like a pack of hyenas who are desperate for VJ. Rather sit back, approach her while she's dancing and give her a tip directly, and walk away, if I'm going to tip her at all for dancing on a stage where literally everyone can see.

Note on my answer… the dollar amount is per approach, per set. So for example if I tip $2 when a dancer first approaches me for a tip after her set I might drop that down to $1 if she swings back around again.

If I’m there long enough that the same dancer does another set I’ll go back $2 when upon first approach after the 2nd set.

At the main neighborhood-style club here (Visions, New Orleans), tipping $1 to each girl who strolls past your chair on the bar-top is required. "If you're sitting at the main stage or one of the bars, you must be drinking and tipping" is a recording which repeats approx. every half hour over the speakers.

$1 if I want them to go away. $2 if they are decent, +/- hot or friendly. One dollar is just to cheap these days with inflation being what it is. I usually only stay in a club an hour or less so I can be a little more generous

I've never seen a post-stage-performance tip walk other than a club in Salt Lake City (American Bush) targeting customers not sitting at rail.
The few times I went I gave $2 as they passed by - I pondered only $1 but I can handle parting with an extra 100 pennies.
p.s. ya I know SLC clubs are lame.

If she looks like she is the type to do extras then I will tip $20 to get her attention and then after she will come over to me at which point I have the leverage.

Once she comes over I will get a dance or 2 just to see how much she lets me touch, if she is ok and also touches me then I make her an offer. Its take it or leave it, if she leaves it then on to the next prospect, she will get jealous that the other is going to make bank if they agree.

Yeah I struck out that tme for OTC at the club, but returned about 8 days later and was able to get ITC for way less. At least I have $2k to toss around. You probably go with a $100 bill and ask for $1's so you can look like a baller on a $100.

The fact that a high percentage of dancers end up with what society considers to be losers is proof that tossing around money doesn't work as much as you would like to think it works.

"You probably go with a $100 bill and ask for $1's so you can look like a baller on a $100."

That's just silly. I stopped replying to your posts on other threads when it seemed like you might actually be a child. Eventually people who want to be useful here on TUSCL find a way. Or you can just post generic stuff you maybe cribbed from other posts and try to pick fights with people who don't care enough to argue with you.

If you're old enough to actually go to a club then have fun.

Wallanon you are the person who mentioned me in this post, I couldnt give less of a shit about you. Seems like you tried to pick a fight with me and when Istruck back you are now trying to play like it was me. Typical gaslight.

So just dont mention me in posts and you wont get a response, that simple. Like I said I ended up getting ITC anyway so it makes no difference, guys like me will always find a way to win and get what we want. Dont be mad because you have to go into clubs over and over 20 times just to even get OTC / ITC discussion going. Mewanwhile guys like me might strike out but next trip is a score.

"So just dont mention me in posts and you wont get a response, that simple."

I don't care if you respond. Don't try so hard in your posts and it won't get noticed.

"guys like me will always find a way to win and get what we want."

Guys like you show up and pose like you've been here for years and the board knows that you haven't. Your first thread went down in flames and then you got quiet for a month. When you decided to come back with half a dozen posts you tried to slide in like people wouldn't notice. It was noticed and your post about Asian, Black, White, and Latina dancers sounded like a kid who's possibly never even seen a woman up close much less touched one.

I wasn't trying to pick a fight with you but I was trying you get your attention. Game recognizes game. Welcome to TUSCL but please work on yours. Some of the noobs and converted lurkers show up on the boards beyond help and just get ignored outright. You didn't. Have fun and stop trying to impress people who aren't here for that.

Wow...OP got action from a stripper at a strip club. What an accomplishment. You should certainly continue to make that flex, as it's quite a feat.

But...at least you're flexing about nailing a stripper, rather than coming on here and claiming you don't need to pay strippers, as you get plenty of pussy from civi's, as some have done.

I get laid by civi's but they just dont do it for me. I prefer to pay and skip the formalities and time waste.

I guess you prefer to waste your time forming "relationships" with strippers so you dont have to pay and they "trust" you. LMAO!

Dont be mad because I have the means to pay and not have to waste my time.

Many on TUSCL have plenty of means to fund strip club visits and many other activities, as well. Clubbing is an expensive hobby, so I doubt there are many poor people who are active on here. You're not the only one with high discretionary income.

"More money than brains" perhaps applies.
