LW, I don't tell anyone rules. When she comes over, we order a drink or two, I offer to buy lunch, it's easily an hour by the time we're done. As I told nice, the girls at my regular club have all seen me do this 1000 times, and the newbies I assure we'll do VIPs when we're done. I can't pull this off at some random club during a busy shift, but that's thing -- I SC at one or two clubs where I'm a known regular. There's no negotiation required, it just happens.

Ya, Probably not going to work if I peacock in at midnight on Saturday, meet a busy stripper who has no idea who I am, and demand she sit with me for an hour. There's a lot of context... if I do a rare busy nightshift, I realize I'm paying some way or other within 5-10 minutes; that's why I dont' like busy nightshifts. But in general, I come in at 1pm on Monday when it's dead and few or no other customers to sit with anyway, and every girl there except the newbies have seen me 1000 times and know I sit and drink and do lunch and then we go off to VIPs. I'm a pretty known quantity except for the newest girls -- with the new girls, I'll often assure them "we're going to do a bunch of VIPs after this" so at least they know there's a pot of copper at the end of the rainbow

Here in SF this pretty much doesn't happen. The one time the PD tried to fuck with the DA and did a raid on a strip club, the DA's office refused to prosecute and dropped all charges, and that was that. So, a nope for me -- and really that's because there's no real risk of that here. There IS a risk for getting by the bouncers or management if you get extras at a non-extras club with an alcohol license, but I've never been caught.

The trend I've seen on extras conversation on stripper forums: in the bad old days, all extras girls were the devil and everyone bashed them. In the last few years there's been a reaction to that, to call that out as whoreocracy, slut shaming, delusional and hypocritical, etc. No stripper wants to be called those things, it undermines them, so now the smart ones are no longer extras shaming, but rather presenting this disingenuous "but they should be charging (some delusional amount)". This gets them back to their agenda: if strippers agree to hate all extras girls who don't charge $1000 for FS, well that means they hate 99% of strippers who do extras. Obviously, this has never been about ethics, etc., it's about the fact that some non-extras girls don't want to compete with girls who are giving customers what they actually want -- which I totally get, I wouldn't want to either. But "I don't want to compete, it's bad for my business" just isn't as hard hitting as "they are doing something unethical and we should all be furious and shame them"

Interesting so many of you came for the reviews. For me, the reviews are definitely helpful when I'm traveling. In my own backyard, I already have my regular clubs wired up better than most reviewers -- I've gotten extras in some of the militantly bouncer-patrolled non-extras clubs, for example -- so there's not a lot I'm going to learn from a generic club description, and even "this is a low-touch no-extras club" does not tend to apply to regulars who know how to work the system. So I tend to be a "come for the chit chat, stay for the reviews" guy

I've always enjoyed talking with other SC guys about SCs. Hell, I enjoy this with every activity I partake in -- if I were into knitting, I'd be on a knitting forum, if I were into lint-collecting, I'd be on a lint-collecting forum, if I were into gloryholes, I'd be on Shailynn's private forum. I was active on the redbook SC forum for years until the feds brought it down, and then the Nightshift SC forum after that until FOSTA/SESTA brought that down. Sometime around then, I went looking for other forums, headed to all the hobbyist sites but hated their forums, and re-found tuscl. I say re-found, because I'm certain I was on this forum in the very earliest days, when it was basically just plain text, even prior to current forum's introduction way back when (maybe Founder can confirm there was such an early iteration)

I come on here saying what dancers actually say. Dont believe me -- go on a stripper forum and ask them the same thing about IC vs employees. I've not seen anything but strong anti-employee, pro-IC sentiments. The fact is, strippers -- not internet trolls who can't figure out if they're fake pimps or fake woke simps -- are the ones who know what works best for them. They speak for themselves often. The girls are smart enough to know that that paltry $16.32 (or whatever it is now) per hour is not in addition to their earnings -- the club takes MORE THAN THAT from them, then pays them back some of it with taxes taken out, and their overall takehome is lower. But men who know better, like you, are going to "fix" things for them anyway lol
Anyway, your inability to understand that the $19 an hour isn't free and in addition to what they used to make themselves means no reason to waste more time with you. Butut information for the rest of tuscl who might have missed what happened in CA -- girls leaving the biz in droves, employment structures that pay a pittance hourly but leave the girls with even less takehome than before, and recognition of this on stripper forums/sub. This has not been good for the strippers.

- for customers, what they experienced is a ton of girls leaving the biz, and shift sizes cut way down -- now that the girls had a guaranteed salary, the clubs were far more conservative about how many girls per shift, girls couldn't randomly add on, etc. Just far fewer choices

I'm not wing -- and I am reflecting what actual strippers feel, not woke delusion. It was terrible for strippers like it was for customers. Again, ask actual strippers if you disagree, they are and always were against it as a group, and with hindsight of the impact, and quadruply against it.
I realize the futility with icey, but for those non-trolls who are curious as to what happened in SF:
- First, realize Dejavu wanted this change, and embraced it even before the law took hold. Just keep in your mind why the evil empire might choose this. They moved to employee-only before the law took hold.
- The girls reacted to the new terms by many of them choosing to take the opportunity to leave the business or work elsewhere. There was a flood of CA girls into Vegas clubs that was obvious (to all the Vegas girls and any actual customers). We lost a lot of local talent here.
- I don't remember the exact structure offhand, I do have it somewhere, but from memory, it was something like: the first $200 the girls makes goes 100% to the club ($120 of this is eventually paid back to the girl as salary, with taxes taken out, so basically the first money the girl makes is to cover her own salary), next $200 or so the club takes 50%, after that the club cut goes down again. In short, the girls knew they were now paying their own salary, but subject to stricter rules and scheduling, etc., with the club overall taking a bigger cut.
- Shift sizes cut down.

I'm surprised a number of strippers had the courage to come out as extras girls on that sub, and how many others were accepting or at least stoic. Wasn't surprised about the extras haters or $1000 minimum girls, ultimately this is mostly about money; who wants to compete with someone who is giving the customer what they want when you won't? Sharp point about why all the hate on extras girls when it's the new girls who sit for hours (who, BTW, are my fave girls lol) who are probably rocking the boat more

It's been terrible for both the girls and customers. You don't have to take anyone's word for it, see what they say about what a catastrophe the employee transition was on stripper forums, and why so many now realize they want to remain ICs.
