In Anthony Bourdain's book, "Kitchen Confidential", he has a chapter for the aspiring chef and one section deals with learning Spanish whether you want to or not. It comes with the territory. Kinda like a mailman with dogs.

Just got back from the club. Maybe only 6 girls working but I had a blast. I didn't have to worry about jockeying for position with any other pl's wanting dances. It was one of the dancers birthdays so of course I had to give her a gift-the gift that keeps on coming. And coming. And coming some more.

But I'm more if a Marvel fan. I was in junior high during the Chris Claremont X-Men days. Great writing but kinda depressing for a comic book. Excalibur brought the laughs that we needed. I was a senior when Inage and Valiant emerged. Funny, everybody knows who Frank Miller is now but I remember reading Miller back in '88.

This Saturday(07/20/13), in Oxnard, CA. The first annual Tequila and Taco Festival had so many Betties rockin' sundresses, Daisy Dukes, and mini skirts I almost went bonkers. Great drinks and a pretty good Santana cover band. Unfortunately, they ran out if tacos. How do Mexicans run out of TACOS at a TACO festival?!? At least they didn't run out of Tequila! Oh yeah, yours truly was out and about, making new friends, dancing with chicks(old and young-you have to dance with the old ladies, they really appreciate it!), and running into family and friends. Great time!

As a teenager, I was a Moron who used lots of Oxy. Now I'm just a Moron. But my skin is clean and blemish free!
