Could someone please explain to me why providing photo ID to vote is racist
Simple. Requiring ID makes it harder for illegals to vote.

I have seen better days at this club before COVID
Thanks for the review. Glad to hear they have seating at the rack again. I stopped early into the reopening and there wasn't any. Stopped by again when it was Outside only, I think they should actually bring back the outside stage during the summer.

    Dead, bored, and expensive.
205, DV8, Scarlett, and Shimmers are probably your best bet if you don't want to feel like the only perv in town on a weekday afternoon. A lot of those other east side places have changed ownership so many times nobody knows what to expect so they don't bother going.....at least that's my theory as to why they're so dead. Of course overpriced dances don't help either.

Crowded? Since when does this place get crowded?
I'm not to familiar with the layout of Downtown Portland. Is Mary's (and the other Downtown clubs for that matter) far enough away from the courthouse to not have to worry about the protests/riots? Really don't need to get my car windows smashed.

    Still coming back to normal
was this before or after they increased the limit to 50% capacity? Just curious what changes the current phase has brought. It's a few hour drive for me to Portland but with so little to do atm I'm tempted to make the drive

I'm the same way. I'll buy dances but I like to watch the show for awhile first. This is why I make the trip to Portland a few times a year. Better stage shows and you can actually drink a beer while doing so.

Which country is more racist- the UK or the USA?
Every country in the world and every race has racists. There's not a single person alive that doesn't hold some kind of bias. We all judge everyone everyday......if we didn't the fashion industry wouldn't exist.

Do men who choose to not get married/children get to live life for themselves?
I've never been married, Have no kids, and two roommates. I Make okay money but nothing special ($30 a hour) both my roommates make roughly the same amount. We're not rich but our lifestyle choices have put us in a position where we can live in a really nice house fully loaded with the latest toys, drive luxury/sports cars, have $1,500 or so a month for fun money, and still save for retirement. If I had a wife and kids I'd need to make triple at least to live my current lifestyle

    Are we approaching decriminalization/legalization
I could see a lot of Blue states doing this as long as they can tax it. Blue states are going to be in a huge hole from the loss of tax revenue from shutting down so hard.

    not so great experience.
Anyone remember Cris from Ricks/Centerfolds? I bought a couple dances from her once back in the day and handed her a extra $20 for a tip because she got the job done. She actually tried giving it back to me and said "you gave me to much" I told her to keep it since it was a tip......ended up spending thousands on that girl over the years, even after her looks started to decline because of the honesty. It's amazing how some dancers don't think about the long term.

Who here is rich (or relatively rich)?
I make a middle class income roughly 60-70k a year but I'm single, no kids. 2 roommates, and pay cash for everything. By keeping my bills so low I can easily set aside a grand or more for fun money every month and still add to my savings

What Portland Orgeon clubs are open?
Only in downtown. The Eastside of Portland is still as peaceful and ghetto as ever

Great first time at this club.
I was wondering how this place would handle the 6 foot rule with the way it's set up. It would be near impossible to tip without stage seating

    Simps are ruining clubs
At my regular club there's a guy who I see on a regular basis that comes in and throws like $100 in singles at one dancer and then walks back to the corner of the room. I noticed he's never bought a dance from her and she only talks to him for maybe a minute after coming off stage. I asked my regular about it and she said he's her pimp trying to generate attention for his girl and he gets every dollar of that back at the end of the night anyway.

People of color experiences at strip clubs
I'm a white guy but I've made observations from my trips to the clubs. As a early 40's white guy with more of a casual style I tend to get attention from Asian and younger more natural looking white dancers. Zero issues here as they tend to be my type anyway. Older white guys and blue collar Hispanics I've noticed seem to get a lot of attention from the older worn out dancers. Younger/ more stylish Hispanics seem to attract the younger Latinas Blue collar black men seem to attract the big booty black and white dancers as well as the older worn out dancers Younger/ more stylish black men seem to draw the attention of the younger dancers of all races. Middle Eastern men seem to have a really hard time trying to get any attention at all.

A few questions aobut the Portland Oregon clubs opening
Yeah I've been looking around at a few clubs IG accounts and it looks like all the dancers are wearing masks and no stage seating. It's a 2+ hour drive for me to get to Portland so I'll probably do the same and just wait.

100% agree with your review. When I come to Portland 205 is almost always my first stop. Once it starts getting late though it's off to check out the dive bars down the street for LD

thanks for the info, bummer no rack seating though. Think I'll probably hold off a few more weeks. Doesn't sound like it would be worth the 2 hour dive to get to Portland yet.

Some Portland Oregon clubs opening 6-12
Talked to one of the club managers over social media and got the lay down on what the reopening rules will be. Staff and dancers will be required to wear masks when not on stage. Dancers on stage won't be required to wear them. Customers will be encouraged to wear a mask but won't be required to wear them. No bar seating will be allowed but stage seating will be allowed with half the number of chairs as normal. Lap dances will be allowed. I'm assuming the degree these rules will be enforced will vary from club to club...….I doubt many clubs will tell tipping customers to go back to a table because they're only allowed a few to sit at the stage.

There's some clubs with very fit/spinner dancers in Portland like 205 and Rouge but Portland does have it's share of clubs where the dancers average 2 bills lol.
