Which state / city has the best bang for your buck?

I've just been to 2 states CA and WA. Find the ones in Seattle to be better value than San Francisco, but CA has more cities which can offer better mileage. Anyone travelled to clubs...

Is asking for DFK obscene?

I've asked nearly every dancer. Some do and some don't, the ones that do gets my money ;). But that means there were times when I had to leave the club without a dance, which felt awkward at times.
