Closed for renovations"... Just heard a few minutes ago from one of the bartenders there that they are expected to open back up in September ..."
Believe it when you see it - I've heard stories like this over the years about different clubs - sometimes they *do* reopen; often they do not - it's a crapshoot at best

Anne Heche Actions have consequences but still very-sad when someone relatively-young dies - at the very-least no-one else got (physically) hurt - which can not be said for the other incident in LA where an off-duty nurse drove thru an LA-intersection at 90mph and killed 6 people including an 11-month-old baby plus a woman that was pregnant where both the woman and her fetus were killed; with about 8 others injured - the horrific crash was caught on video:

Is anyone here worried about Monkey Pox?I haven't clubbed in close to a year and not really hard-up for visiting a club - if the figure of just 10,000 cases with almost all in the male-gay-community is correct, then the risk looks minimal - but given that I haven't been clubbing then it would likely make me not wanna take the risk for me personally even if minimal; I am currently dealing w/ another situation related to my health and def would not want to have to deal w/ monkeypox in addition although realistically-speaking it does seem like a very very small risk.

Sunday night with friends, first time at a stripclubDances are $25/song - and you need to be careful the girl does not over-count you - strip-clubs can be dangerou$ places for your wallet if you are clueless about them - best to research clubs b/f wondering-in completely-clueless especially in places like Miami.

Last minute idea turns into a treatTUSCL M.O. is to describe the service and price but leave out the dancer's name or anything that identifies the specific dancer - describing the service and price helps others not familiar w/ the club know what to expect and more importantly not to get ripped-off - also, w/o specifying what you got and paid, you don't know if you overpaid and/or got ripped-off yourself.

Hectic weekend visits, more relaxed day time visits.I’ve never been to this club but keep up w/ the reviews – the way they push the tequila-shots makes me think it’s a drink-hustle and that perhaps/likely it’s watered-down if not all-water particularly for the girl o/w the girls would be constantly plastered if they are downing shots throughout the shift.
w.r.t. weekends at busy clubs; many of us vets avoid these times for the reasons you posted – if I hit a busy club on a weekend-night, I try to get their earlier and leave by the time the crowds start getting there – e.g. downhere in Miami clubs close-late (5am+) thus they get-going past 10pm but won’t be in full-swing till about midnight – my M.O. on the busy Fr/Sat eve clubs is to hit-them around 10pm or slightly-earlier and be out by midnight or slightly past that and this way I can usually have a decent time b/f it starts getting too-crowded.

The IRSMore big-government bullshit:
‘Our Home Has Been Stolen From Us’: L.A. Landlords Slam Eviction Moratorium, City Council Extends Another Year
While many COVID-related policies have expired across the majority of the country, Los Angeles recently voted to renew its eviction moratorium, which has caused widespread frustration and extreme difficulty for some property owners.
“Our home has been stolen from us so that tenants, one of whom owns a DeLorean, can go to Burning Man and rent yachts for birthday parties and sail up in hot air balloons,” a Los Angeles property owner said at a recent press conference. “Our home has been stolen from us, not by our tenants, but by the overly broad policies created under Mayor Garcetti upheld by the majority of our City Council.”
“You can’t walk into your neighborhood grocery store and say, ‘Because food is a necessity, I’m going to walk out without paying,'” Cheryl Turner, board president of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles, said. “But we are being criticized for asserting our rights to collect our rent.”
An eviction moratorium essentially ensures landlords can’t evict tenants if they don’t pay rent. California put an eviction moratorium in place during the pandemic, and it fully ended on June 30th of this year. Still, the L.A. City Council recently voted to extend its own moratorium again. It will remain in place through August next year, or up to one year after the local emergency declaration ends. Another vote is expected later this year.
Theoretically, the tenants will owe the rent when the moratorium ends, but collecting that money won’t be easy in many cases. Landlords will have the right to evict at that time, but in the meantime, many of these landlords are unable to pay their mortgages. At a recent press conference at City Hall, landlords argued that this eviction moratorium could bankrupt some of them and force them into foreclosure. They say that some tenants are taking advantage of the program.
Those on the other side of the issue say the moratorium is necessary because people are still struggling to make ends meet. Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE), a “racial and social justice” organization, protested outside the City Council gathering, pushing the landlords to take their press conference indoors.
“A lot of people still…haven’t been able to pay the rent and they’re going to end up homeless,” ACCE member Elizabeth Hernandez reportedly said.
Councilman John Lee was the only council member not to vote for the extension. He has been working alongside landlords trying to find a solution.
“Set a date, a date certain that they can look forward to and they can plan for in the future,” Lee said. “This eviction moratorium has got to end.”
Rent might become an even more problematic issue in the state due to inflation and a state law signed in 2019. The Tenant Protection Act doesn’t allow landlords to raise the rent more than 5% each year, “plus the percentage change in the cost of living,” or in other words, inflation. They could also increase it by 10%, whichever amount is lower. In the past, the total increase has been between 5.7% and 9%.
Since inflation is at record highs, many landlords throughout the state can raise rents by 10%. The 10% cap doesn’t apply to all housing, however, so some landlords could technically raise rents more. However, landlords’ hands are tied if there is an eviction moratorium, like in L.A. Even if they raise the rent, they can’t necessarily collect it.

How you like being asked for a lap danceFor the most-part it comes down to her looks or more precisely if she’s my type – I don’t like dancers inviting themselves to my table and even-less-so to-my-lap but if she’s my type then I usually don’t mind – but as others have mentioned, I rather she ask if I’d like a dance or company.
As I often post, I’m a variety guy and there to get dances from as many girls as I can and find desirable – thus I don’t mind the wanna-dance and actually prefer it since that is what I’m there for – having a convo with a girl for a while usually helps with the dances but it’s not a requirement for me – if I’m hard-up though I usually prefer we get to the dances ASAP vs a 15-minute getting-to-know-each-other thing.
I *do* like when they come up and grab my dick.
If she’s my type and I’m ready for dances; there isn’t much of a wrong approach – I guess some things that would turn-me-off even if she’s my type is approaching me with a cigarette and/or a blunt although it’s not necessarily a deal-breaker – also if she approaches me like she’s god’s-gift-to-man; i.e. w/ some major GPS; then good chance she won’t be getting dances from me.
I guess the most direct intro I’ve had was an ebony at a mixed-dive about 6 or 7 years ago that just came up to me and right away just said “would you like to have the best blowjob of your life” – she was a voluptuous-ebony so she was my type so I took her up on it – I thought it was just SS on her part but the BBBJ was very-good; not the best I ever had but def worth-remembering.

What's it like for the non-rain man in a "make it rain" club? The make-it-rain I see is usually stage-side; or sometimes on the floor where both the dancer and custy are standing next to each other – I also see the tipping-$1s thing which is sorta like making-it-rain but basically the girl is dancing in front of the PL and he’s just dropping $1s at her feet vs throwing the $$$ at-her or up-in-the-air – either way I rarely see the PL getting much if any contact.
It’s possible to still get dances in those clubs but you gotta dot-your-i's and cross-your-t’s – best to know the dance-rate going in or just tell her you want some contact-dances and ask her the price or tell her how much you are willing to pay per song – no guarantee she will wanna do contact-dances and no guarantee they are allowed or a thing in the club; but it’s not undoable if one is proactive.

OT: R.I.P. Roger E. MosleyI was 10 ys/o when Magnum P.I. came out - I think I recall the first episode although I haven't seen it since it first came out back in 1980 - if I recall correctly the first episode started w/ Magnum driving-up in the Ferrari in his naval uniform and parking-it in a parking-lot and him stepping-out of the Ferrari - of course as a 10 y/o the Ferrari is what got my attention and why I started watching the show.
