Unusually quiet
I thought I would give an update on the present situation at Hong Kong and zona Norte in general. I was looking forward to this trip as it’s likely to be my last for the year. I have given details of the club layout in my last 2 reviews for those who want those details.
I crossed the border after 11pm. Thought the area looked scant but figured it was the time of night. All the taxis were charging 10 dollars and I thought “wow, inflation is really getting out of hand”. Waited 15 minutes for the shuttle and no luck so had to work with the taxi. The driver even tried a bait and switch and demanded 15 when we arrived to zona. I stuck to the agreed on 10.
Zona was dead. No where open, including Hong Kong. Not even street girls. I soon learned why. Apparently the government recommended all businesses in Baja California close because of an outbreak of violence in the area. The internet gives varying reasons for the violence. The man at the desk said the club will be open on as normal on Saturday but the internet says many businesses are remaining closed Saturday so who knows. I’m really hoping it opens up and of course that the violence settles down.
