Sandy has died, that's a hard one to takeWow - she's one of those that you didn't see as an old person; but time passes - I know her most from her song "Physical"; I think I was in 6th-grade when that song came out and I remember how popular it was.

Autumn / Fall Downhere in SoFlo is doesn't make much of a difference - downhere we only have to 2 seasons, the hot-season, and the unbearably-hot-season - downhere not much changes except slightly less hot and a bit less rain in "Fall" - but not at all uncommon for it to be 80 degrees in December and be using your A/C all thru the Fall and "Winter" down here.
When I lived in Dallas, Fall meant we would then head into Winter which I hated as it would get cold in Dallas and I hate cold-weather - as a kid Fall also meant having to go back to school and no more just playing all day like during Summer.
Since we really don't have "seasons" downhere in SoFlo, it's not something I think about much - I guess if I had to choose a fave season it would be Spring as it sorta signifies a sorta start/beginning to be followed by Summer which often means fun-and-games - so for me it would be Spring and Summer although I've always looked more forward to summer b/c there is more to do - the hot summer weather is rough but I personally would never trade it for cold winter weather.

Dancers using the term "extras"Yeah I've never heard the term extras in a SC - could be that as mentioned above that the more popular dancer-forums become that perhaps it may start becoming more part of the ITC SC lingo - but one wonders if more and more PLs will also go online and thus be aware of this lingo; over-the-years it seems that the percent of SC-custies that participated on online SC-forums seemed low/the-exception; and perhaps why dancers may continue to keep-it-simple and just say "VIP" etc

The IRSAs it should start being obvious; "it's not a bug, it's a feature"
This is all about maintaining and increasing/consolidating their power - make the government bigger and more-powerful so they can better rule/force-their-will over us and force us to get in-line w/ their agenda and be dependent on them for everything - the more $$$ you give to the government the more powerful it becomes and the less power/freedom you the citizen has - they will divert a lot of those funds to give to their base so their base stays loyal to them (Dems); this includes student loan forgiveness, UBI, reparations; etc - if they get the power they want and the supreme court gets in their way, they will get rid of that too (court-packing; etc) - add to this opening the borders to millions of illegals then try to give them the right to vote even as illegals but if not fast-track them to citizenship so they can become loyal Dem voters for decades just like the black community has since the 6os.
It's not a bug; it's a feature - all this is being done in coordination with an end in mind - get rid of America once and for all and create a new country w/ a socialist/globalist huge-government in charge - they refer to it as the new-liberal-world-order.

Are all the “Cubanas” really from Cuba?IDK the exact legal reasons behind it - but it does seem almost all Cubans arriving become legal residents, and are given permission to work not long (2 or 3 months?) after they arrive thus giving the Cubanas access to work in the clubs - it's still surprising to me how they have exploded in #s especially throughout the country

Are all the “Cubanas” really from Cuba?Every group has its own peculiarities – Brazilians can’t be compared to Cubans any more than Americans can be compared to Britons just b/c they speak the same language – the Cuban issue is unique onto itself – I do agree that it’s astonishing how much the Cuban stripper #s have exploded, and I do believe most of those *are* Cuban girls; but still astonishing as to how it’s exploded in many parts of the country – I think it has to do mostly with my point #2 in my previous comment although IDK the exact reasons behind this explosion.
This may go back to the early-90s – when the Soviet Union was intact, Cuba received massive subsidies from the Eastern Block – once the USSR was no longer; that is when the situation in Cuba went from “you could kinda get by” to “you couldn’t feed your kids”; and this was pretty-much for most of the population vs just there being haves and have-nots – this is when Cuba had to pivot and open the country to as much foreign tourists as possible (mainly from Canada and Europe) – and this is when many young girls turned to prostitution to get $$$ from the tourists and be able to survive (there were young girls that would sleep w/ a tourist if he just bought her a pair of jeans; etc).

Recession signsThere's a guy on YouTube that goes by "Lucky Lopez" that breaks down the car-scene pretty-well - he's saying there will be major-carnage in the car-biz with prices, particularly for used-cars; plummeting in the next few months to a year – he talks about how many people got approved for car-loans that shouldn’t have – how many-people were able to get into cars they o/w wouldn’t have been able to but could b/c of government Covid $$$, not having to pay rent nor student loans at the time; etc – but now those people can’t afford to keep those cars especially being upside-down on them due to having overpaid for those cars in the first place – also rising-interest-rates means there will be people that can’t keep up w/ payments – he predicts a massive amount of car-repos in the next few months.
The thing about a recession is that shit hits the fan over time – it doesn’t all happen at once at the beginning – no one can guarantee what kinda recession there will be nor if one will happen at all, but a lot of signs are pointing to it analogous to a bad weather event in the Atlantic that w/ each day seems it has more of a chance of becoming a hurricane.

how many dances have you gotten in one sittingb/w 10 and 20 – when I was clubbing a lot pre-Covid I mostly hit small black dives downhere in Miami were floor-dances were $5/song – although it was far from the norm; there were times I’d be getting dances from a dancer for 30-minutes straight; and on some occasions up to an hour straight – by then we had lost track of the # of songs and if it was around half-an-hour I’d give her around $80 and If wen around an hour I’d give her around $100 or $120 and rarely did they not seem to be ok w/ the payment given that most of the custies usually just hung-out and didn’t by any dances at all.

Are all the “Cubanas” really from Cuba?I think the proliferation of Cuban-dancers across the country is real – I think it’s much more likely that people confuse Cuban dancers for other Latinas; than the other way around – in the past, most folks’ exposure around the country to Latinos was usually w.r.t. Mexican and other Central Americans since these were the bulk of Latinos in most areas around the U.S. whereas as Cubans tended to stick mostly to SE Florida. As others have commented, IME the Cuban-dancers often get a bad-rap and some of them try to pass off as something else vs the other way around – I’m Cuban-born myself so I can almost-always know if they are trying to pass for something else; I can def tell once they start talking; but often times I can tell a Cuban-dancer just by looking at her and how she carries herself although obviously it’s not foolproof going just by looks/mannerisms.
But – over time the Cubans have decided not to make SE Florida their homebase when arriving since the opportunities in SoFLo are not that great; and that in large part has led to there being many more Cubans, and in greater #s, spread around the country.
There has def been a big, and surprising, surge, of Cuban-dancers around the country where they seem to take over certain clubs in short order – even in some places like Denver which I would have not expected.
There does seem to be some coordination going on – pre-1995 or so, Cubans were given automatic asylum if picked up at sea or if they made I to the U.S. any other way – in the early-90s there was a massive outflow from Cuba by sea many people doing so on homemade rafts and they were called “los balseros” (the rafters) – b/c of this massive migration, Clinton changed the law to the “wet-foot dry-foot” law that if you were caught at sea, you were returned to Cuba, but if you made it to U.S. soil, you were granted asylum.
But in January 2017; as one of his last acts when leaving office; Obama took away the automatic asylum claims Cubans had (Obama took away wet-foot dry-foot) – after January 2017, Cubans had to mostly come into the U.S. illegally either by sea or land but more commonly by land by going from Cuba to a Central-American country to then Mexico to then the U.S. border – this required the use of coyotes and thousands of dollars – in many cases families in the U.S. paid; in other cases I assume folks come to an agreement to pay back the $$$ either to the coyotes or whomever lends them the $$$; I’m not sure how it works (I came from Cuba as a 9 y/o in 1979 thus I don’t have closet-ties to the recent arrival community).
So IDK for sure what has led to the recent influx of Cuban dancers around the country, but I suspect either:
1) they see stripping as a quick way to get on their feet vs slaving-away at $7 or $8 an hour or w/e the current minimum wage is in a particular area – and somehow the word has gotten out w.r.t. stripping being a quick-way to make a lot of $$$ and the word has gotten out w.r.t. the more lucrative clubs to hit; etc
2) post January 2017; seems most Cubans have had to do the Cuban to Central America to Mexico to the border thing which often requires a good amount of $$$ including coyotes – so could be the influx/increase of Cuban girls dancing are doing so to get out of under that debt as quickly as possible whether it’d be owed to coyotes or family-members that sacrificed to get them here but really are not in a position to spends thousands of dollars and often times the family-members here may have borrowed the $$$ themselves
I’m leaning towards #2 above as the main-reason for the huge influx of Cuban-dancers but IDK for sure and I assume #1 above applies to some of them – but it does seem as if the word has gotten out among them w.r.t. how to make lots of $$$ quickly – if this is somehow coordinated vs just “the word getting around”, IDK – I doubt they are “trafficked” in the sense that they are lied to or somehow connived into it – I’m pretty-sure they know the deal going in and decide it’s worth it to them given how dire things are in Cuba and more importantly no end in sight for their situation in Cuba.

The next 10 yearsI’m not against global trade/business; it has its pros and cons – but I am def concerned w.r.t. having any reliance on a country like China (or Europe’s reliance on Russia) – from the looks of it; it seems China wants to supplant us as the world-power and do so by any means necessary; and it seems we have in large part aided them in doing so – we def need to decouple from China as Trump wanted – and Trump also had the foresight to encourage Europe to decouple from madman-Putin although many of those Euro-fags were laughing when Trump was calling out this danger.

Breonna TaylorThis thread was the first I’d heard of Corrupt AG Garland going after the cops 2-years-after-the-fact – at first I thought he was (re)charging the original 4-cops that served the warrant.
Now I understand that 3 out of the 4 currently being charged by Garland were not involved in the raid and were involved w/ the creation of the warrant.
If that warrant was not created correctly, then obviously those responsible need to face the consequences - the investigation was centered around Breonna’s ex-BF whom was subsequently convicted for drug-dealing – IDK all the details of the case but it seems in pursuit of the drug-dealing-ex-BF, that the cops had reason to believe Breonna was involved in some way (I believe there were jailhouse phone-calls to the effect but IDK for sure) – anyway; seems the cops believed Breonna to be involved w.r.t. her ex-BF’s drug-dealing and seems that was their motivation for raiding her apartment – IDK how “corrupt” the cops were; could be they just cut-corners since some LE commentators are saying there was enough evidence to have gotten a proper search warrant – but at the end of the day if the cops did not follow the law, cops are as accountable if not more accountable for following-the-law given the power they have; even if they were just lazy or cutting corners, they still can’t be allowed to do so b/c that has consequences for everyone.
But I’m pretty-sure if Breanna and BF were Trump supporters, Garland wouldn’t be “working so hard on going after the cops”; if anything that weasel Garland may have been adding charges to the BF if he was a Trump supporter – not saying that if the cops are in the wrong that they should not be prosecuted; my point is the current selective prosecution by those currently in power.

Asshole employee^ there are times to walk away from a club; but not usually b/c one has an unpleasant encounter w/ a particular person - best to do is just avoid dealing w/ that person and go about enjoying w/e else the club has to offer - if the overall club/vibe sucks, then it may be a good-time to find greener-pastures but this club has a fairly-solid-rep going-back many years; i.e. from the outside-looking-in it seems you overreacted; doesn't mean the other guy was not in the wrong; but that you perhaps overreacted by deciding to bail if it was just based on that incident especially when the other staff person seemed to have a sympathetic-ear when you complained which is not always the case - at the end of the day; most experienced custies know that it's more up to them, vs the club/staff, as to how good their visit goes - most vet custies stick to just interacting w/ the dancers and usually avoid dealing w/ anyone else unless they have to; and if they have to deal w/ anyone else; it's brief or they just ignore/avoid that person.

Asshole employeeIf one is gonna walk-away any time someone says or does something rude in a strip-club; one is gonna be walking out a lot – a strip-club is bizarro-world; not the real-world – don’t go in expecting the same customer service you would at The Hilton – there’s pros and cons to strip-clubs; a positive is that in no other type of establishment can one expect to see naked pussy on display and women allowing strangers to grope them (and more) – with this comes that one will often not find the best society has to offer whether it’s the dancers; staff; or other custies – also; the higher-mileage clubs often tend to be seedier and rougher-around-the-edges – can’t have your cake and eat it too (with some exceptions).
When one enters a strip-club; one has to know/accept going-in that one is in a different environment (analogous to if one stepped into a biker-bar; etc); one just needs to learn how to maneuver in such an environment to get what one is looking for vs expecting everthing to go perfect as if one was in a resort.
