Came to the Rhino just before midnight. Place was packed on the inside, but not much of a line outside. Got into the club fairly quick. Some idiot was arguing with the bouncers as he only had a white tee under his casual jacket, which doesn't fit the dress code. They were trying to sell him a $50 generic collared shirt in addition to his admission (he'd have to check his jacket too), but he kept being spiteful about it. Ultimately, they stuffed his money back in his hand and escorted him out of the building, almost by force! So, remember to dress sharp at the very least. Tshirts are not allowed. Probably a good idea to keep your cool and not aggravate security as well (who all look like linebackers compared to this guy's shrimpy ass).

Admission in the end was $46.50. A strange price, but I guess it makes sense as it gives a clear residual to drop into the tip can by the front entrance. I used to come here via the complimentary limo, which gets you in for free as well, but didn't care to deal with that this time. Bouncer had me wait at the ropes, then asked what I was looking for -- bottle service, VIP, etc. I said I just wanted to sit at the rail and toss bills at dancers. He led me to a club chair about 3 rows back behind the stage.

Only one stage was active this evening, a Saturday, but the place was popping. Girls everywhere. A good crowd of men and women, a couple bachelorette parties, but all in all people were having a really great time. Relatively dim club, lighting wise. Close quarters with all the chairs, you really have to step around them to get from one side to the other. Unfortunately, the (former) tipping rail is now bottle service VIP. I was really surprised. It used to be the place where you'd sit and toss bills, but I guess times have changed. Now it's divided into sections that each have a bottle bucket. 90% of the sections were unoccupied, unsurprisingly. If I were going bottle service, I'd want to be off to the side. I gathered this was the bachelor/bachelorette zone. As a result, over the course of the night I'd just walk up to the stage when there was a dancer I'd like to throw some bills at, but it was underwhelming as I didn't get the normal face to face, "come find me later" interaction one can normally get from being at the rail. Lame choice by the club.
