This review sounds made-up – doesn’t jive much w/ my multiple-visits over-the-years (though I haven’t been since pre-Covid but I doubt it’s changed this much) – also missing a lot of info about the club and the girls.

Hometown clubs versus traveling to new clubs
I would assume this mostly depends on one’s “default preference” per se – many SCers like finding a good dancer(s) and sticking w/ her in order to get a-more-consistent-experience – other SCers prefer to experience something-new (new dancers) everytime they hit a club – seems most regular-SCers prefer the former; whereas I prefer the latter. Having access to a resource like TUSCL means one can make use of both.

Second chance for a dancer
Whether to repeat w/ the dancer in question – unless you plan to change the way you club; then no b/c good-chance you’ll have the same issue; and not only w/ her; but if she indeed over-counts; foolish-of-you to think she is the only-one that does so – also; you already accused her of over-counting you w/o u being sure; so u may have “poisoned the waters w/ her” (but at the end of the day a dancer will rarely turn-down-money/selling-dances). As a custy, it’s very-easy to get distracted as lose-count-of-the-songs (and many over-counting-dancers count on this; as well as most-custies being inexperienced and “ripe-for-the-picking”) – also as has been posted; in many clubs the DJs either: a) mix the songs together to where it can be hard to detect song breaks and the custy thinks he’s still on the first song b) cut songs short (when a custy is not getting dances; then he often doesn’t notice the songs lengths) c) some clubs play songs of varying lengths (seemingly on purpose) – and songs can be anywhere from 2 to 3.5 minutes long I’ve been over-counted in the past; and as others have posted, since I wasn’t 100%-sure: I went ahead and paid (unless it was egregious; e.g. I thought we did 2 and she tells me we did 6; some dancers don’t give a fuck and will actually do shit like this; count on it). After a couple of over-counting experiences; I was not gonna let it happen again; thus I: 1) tell the dancer upfront b/f we start to let me know everytime she starts a new-song – this usually eliminates almost-all-over-counters – but like I said; there are dancers that plain-and-simple don’t give a fuck and even when I ask them to let me know everytime they start a new song; they either stop doing it after the 2nd-song claiming “they forgot”; or they still over-count (e.g. they do song no. 3 and the next-one they’ll tell me it’s song no. 5 or even no. 6; it’s happened) 2) since no. 1 above isn’t foolproof – I will usually also use my cellphone stopwatch to keep track – i.e. if songs in the club are on avg 3-minutes for example; when I start my dances I’ll kickoff my cellphone-stopwatch and if I did dances for let’s say 10-minutes or so then I’m sure I did 3-songs After I started doing the above I never paid an over-counter again – it def sucks to have to do what I do vs just sitting back and enjoying my dances; but due to my-style-of-SCing I tend to run into more over-counting issues and for me I rather take some upfront precautions vs paying for songs/dances she didn’t give me.

Second chance for a dancer
“… I completely disagree that it is up to the customer to keep count. The dancer should be asking at the end of each dance if the customer wants another. This has been my experience with 99% of dancers …” I think that is wishful-thinking on your-part – my experience w/ 100s of clubs in different cities has been the opposite in that 99%-of-the-time the dancer won’t tell you when she’s starting a new-song – dancers will try and get as many songs from a custy as possible and letting the songs go one-after-the-other is the best way to get the most-money from custies – your analogy of being at a bar, or that dancers shouldn’t rip-off custies b/c they lose repeat-business, is again wishful-thinking and you’re projecting how things-should-be vs the reality of the vast-majority-of-clubs – getting ripped-off in strip-clubs is as common as g-strings in strip-clubs – no-one in a strip-club will look out for you or your best-interest; it’s up to the custy to know what the fuck he is doing analogous to when one goes to buy a car (are you gonna expect for the salesperson, or dealer, to look out for you and “do the right thing?”) – at the end of the day strippers are salespeople that don’t make money unless they sell-dances and they will try and sell as many as they can including cheating custies; o/w they run the risk of going-home w/ little-money or even in-the-red.

Mongering now vs. Yesteryear
I did a little-bit of clubbing in the 90s – became a semi-regular SCer in the 2000s – then became a hardcore SCer in the 2010s. Whether it was location; or lack of knowledge on-my-part; my best clubbing was in the 2010s – in my particular case; I was often frustrated w/ the lack of mileage in my pre-2012 clubbing-experience – a big-part of my good 2010s-experience was due to becoming a TUSCLer in early-2012 and becoming “educated in the SC-game”; but overall it feels as if mileage, in the areas I clubbed in; def became higher in the 2010s.

For those PLs that are into high-mileage black-clubs like me; there are some offerings in the Philly; NJ; DC area: + in Philly; there is Purple Orchid; Outer Space Club (aka La Pearl); and The Piccadilly Club + in NJ there is Vic’s; and Paradizio + in DC; there is Ebony Inn (it’s actually on the Maryland-side of the DC/MD border) For UHM-chocolate there is also a video/book store in Philly (Venus); and one in NJ (Carnival); where FS can be had – there are also some mixed-clubs in NJ/Philly that have a good # of AA-dancers.

Should me and my wife check out the clubs in TJ?
Going to TJ just to hang-out and watch the stage is like going to an upscale-steakhouse and planning on just eating the mashed-potatoes. Some “general” tidbits: + “generally” UHM (ultra-high-mileage) clubs are not a great fit for couples – perhaps HK (club Hong Kong) in TJ may be somewhat-different; but IME w/ UHM-clubs (never been to HK though) is that they rarely have couples in them b/c most couples are looking for something different; not to mention UHM clubs often tend to be a bit too-raunchy for most-couples’ tastes + there will be the language barrier – so TJ is not the best-place for interacting w/ girls (unless both you and your wife are both fluent in Spanish) – also; most girls that sit w/ a custy do so w/ the hope/expectation of “going arriba” (fuck-session in the attached-hotel) – so in way you’d be wasting most girls’ time if you don’t plan to do an arriba IMO TJ is not a good-fit for what you are looking-for – as has been mentioned; Cheetah in SD is a much-better fit (nice club w/ nice/attractive girls that speak English and it’s not a raunchy club) – I guess you could do TJ in addition to a SD-club just to say “been there done that and you’ve seen it w/ our own eyes” but I’d avoid TJ//Club-Hong-Kong at a peak time like a weekend night.

I don't think SCs necessarily make soft-targets - almost all SCs have some security present which most businesses don't have - also; just bc one doesn't see it; doesn't mean SC-staff is not packing - I've read stories of clubs I've been to where staff got into a shootout with some thug-custies and I had never seen the staff open-carrying. Also; I wouldn't be surprised if there is some staff/management in a back-office monitoring-cameras and packing - which reminds me of one time at a SoFlo black-dive where some POS-dancer falsely-accused-me of not paying her and the bouncer came up to me and said the manager wanted to speak with me - he took me into the manager's-office and there were multiple-camera-monitors as well as a 357-revolver sitting on a desk (doesn't mean there weren't more forearms I didn't see) - anyway nothing came of my meeting with the manager after I explained my side.

Might as well - Eagles' defense would have likely destroyed that patched-up Bengals offensive-line - Bengals were not at full-strength to be able to take on Philly

If a city doesn't want a club(s); they seem to have pretty-much endless-ways to either get the club shutdown or make it adhere to strict rules making the club not worth visiting - for the most part no-one will have a strip-club's back unless something radically changes w.r.t. how SCs are seen/viewed in general.

Prohibited items in clubs
I wear contacts and have dry-eyes - so I carry a small-bottle of drops everywhere I go strip-club or not and use the drops throughout the day. Most of my SCing is in black-clubs and they all do a patdown at the door. Never had an issue with the drops except once at "Club Blaze" in ATL - dayshift-doorman didn't wanna let me in with the drops and I had to leave them in the car which meant pretty-much having to throw them away bc they go bad being left inside a hot-car for multiple-hours (the small bottle is only about a 1/3 of an ounce and costs b/w $6 and $8 depending where u buy it so I don't like having to throw them away). Ever since that happened I now put the small-bottle in b/w my hand and cellphone when going into a club and getting the patdown (just in case) - and after that incident at Blaze a few years ago, on my subsequent Blaze visits I had to go as far as uncomfortably-squeezing the small-bottle inside one of my sneakers in order to get past the Blaze patdown since the Bkaze-doormen are very picky including checking to see if ur wearing underwear (seriously; nit joking).

Daytimers - ever been the first and only PL in the club?
If I was the only custy in the club and there were multiple dancers that were my type I guess it'd be ok - but would feel a bit uncomfortable if most dancers were not my type and I had to sit there turning them down - not to mention I'd get bored quickly and likely not stay long.

Hair color
I'm more turned-off by women that have short "man like" haircuts/hairstyles - e.g. Jamie Lee Curtis - still wouldn't be a deal-breaker if the bod is to my liking but the man-like-haircut is more unappealing than any particular hair color

I don't recall ever being in that situation. Although I've done a lot of dayshift SCing I don't recall ever hitting a club b/f 2pm and by that time those clubs had been open since at least noon. I generally tend to avoid clubs that have slow-dayshifts and by the time I usually get there it has a decent vibe.
