Might as well - Eagles' defense would have likely destroyed that patched-up Bengals offensive-line - Bengals were not at full-strength to be able to take on Philly
I actually felt bad for the guy after about the third time the cameras showed him crying his eyes out on the sideline. His page on Wikipedia already has that play written on it. Obviously that shove out of bounds was a huge fuck up, but nobody knows how overtime was going to go (and maybe the Chief still get the yards to move into field goal range).
The poor-guy was giving all he had at the end of the game - between likely being exhausted and being a big-guy, it was likely hard for him to be able to stop his momentum.
25 where do you get 4 turnovers? Burrow had 2 interceptions and the Bengals had no fumbles. Honestly I'm surprised he didn't turn it over more with the way our O-line played.
Cincinnati made plenty of mistakes and if it wasn't for those mistakes we had a chance to put the game away so that a KC field goal at the end wouldn't have won the game for them. The fact is we didn't take advantage of the opportunities we had so all KC needed was a field goal. We would have stopped them outside of field goal range if it wasn't for Ossai's late hit.
There's no telling how the game would've turned out without the late hit. They may have hit a longer field goal or they may have hit a long touchdown to win in regulation. If it went to OT either team could've won.
It wouldn't have been so bad if we had just got beaten by a team that outplayed us, that's what the game is all about. The fact that we played an even game for 59 minutes and 52 seconds and then gave the game away by committing a stupid penalty after Mahomes was already out of bounds is what hurts.
The flip side is that play led to the field goal by KC which led to their covering the point spread (I had KC as a 1.5 favorite), which led to me winning on the parlay I had at my local casino sportsbook.

That terrible instinct to hit Mahommes well out of bounds is gonna him for a long time
