TUSCL trivial date game...for fun...who wants to play
*When The Space Shuttle Challenger blew up in 1986 and teacher Christa McAuliffe died, Sesame Street and Big Bird realized it dodged a bullet. Big Bird was the original ideal passenger on that flight--so kids could be interested in space, but no one could figure out how to keep it in costume up there. So a US teacher was the next best thing...

*There's a picture of Lincoln's coffin visiting New York City by horse carriage and an astute person noticed that the photo most likely also captured a young Teddy Roosevelt looking out the window watching with his sibling because they lived on that street around that apartment floor. *Before Star Trek, Spock / Leonard Nimoy drove a cab in L.A. and picked up a single young politician passenger--a young JFK in L.A. Both men hailing from Boston so Nimoy recognized his state's politician, but Nimoy himself wasn't famous yet. Imagine: 2 huge 60s icons in one car before they were truly household names.

*There's a made for TV movie where actor James Dean pulls a gun on Ronald Reagan. Even in that scene, Reagan plays a man older than Dean. *When Lincoln was President, he had an event where he invited Vets of The War of 1812 to The White House to mark it's 50th anniversary.

That Civil War daughter finally died in 2020. *One of President Lincoln's sons was in attendance at the opening of The Lincoln Memorial. (I don't believe he spoke)... *On YouTube, you can see an elderly Maryland man who claimed he witnessed President Lincoln's assassination--because he was a child in Ford's Theater that night. This man appeared on a taped TV show in the 1950s...posted on YouTube.

Times you acted like a jerk in a strip club
the moment that stand out in my mind: i slapped this dancer square on the ass as she walked by. she turned around and glared like she was going to kill me on the spot. i wasn't expecting that reaction and she wasn't expecting me or anyone to slap her booty like that at that moment. i'm still surprised nothing happened. the look on her eyes were daggers. she was an iconic dancer at that club. ever see the 50 cent rap video for wanksta? that chick with the booty. i heard a rumor that the dancer was her in the video. but i don't think so. i always wondered what became of her. dancer whose booty i slapped at the club--booty was incredible. i'm not the type to just slap a booty all willy-nilly. i don't think. i remember that was just a knee-jerk reaction when she walked by.

IMO, even tho they're hunters, etc, mix up the music, just a little. Yes, play their favorites. But introduce them to new sounds. First of all, you never know who's in the room. You'd be surprised what music people randomly know. Second, I always remembered the dancers who seemed to teach me a new song that I grew to like. Third, as a deejay I remember overhearing a dude in the crowd say something not directed to me that shook me. He said 'I go out to hear music that I don't already hear at home..." I get what he was trying to say. In other words, home is my reality world. Going out is my fantasy world, so sometimes keep it a fantasy world for me and play a little fantasy music since I'm not at home...make me feel like I'm out...'

What song do you play????????
lol there aren't any deejays yet in this thread I'd play this, since I'm a deejay https://youtu.be/mdFudLPyqng (it's The international hit song, phenome, "Jerusalema") If the 25 min video comes up, fast forward to the 6min mark and then jump around different points of the video to check out all the folks across the world doing their own versions of this easy to learn line dance for this song that came out within the last 3 years or so ago. I play this pretty much every gig. It's really nice when the entire room gets into it... It's also a nice mellow exotic tropical tune sound-wise for nice outdoor weather, IMO

what are some memorable stripper's 9-5 day jobs, you been told
to clarify: the strip club was like a mile from the tgi Fridays where a local a dancer worked both; one at day one at night. whenever I saw her at both I'd wonder if I'd ever do the same, how badly broke I'd have to be. This SC was fully nude. And she loosely gave me Hilary Banks vibes. I'm like any dude working with you at Fridays when they find out the can see you nude in the club a mile away are gonna go lol. for the first time I actually see now why she always called us male patrons "all perverts" with such disgust. lol

Jobs you would never ever do
As a kid, I had to work in a grocery store. One day I had to fill in for the cat who worked the salad bar. Miserable experience for me. I had to spend the day with a thick coat on, standing on two feet all day in the freezer, chopping salad, stacking fruit. Lonely gig. Nobody really talks to you. Depressing for a kid like me at that time... And although I've done it a handful of times already: wedding DJ. I quickly realized I don't care enough for absolute strangers to DJ their wedding. Too many headaches. Too unpredictable: like the wedding cake and food is stuck in traffic, they won't make it now I gotta improvise? I gotta entertain a room where 85% of the room NEVER goes out or goes clubbing and every line dance is the first time they've ever seen it? I gotta hold their hand thru the whole wedding? I'll pass...

ever 'just missed' a crazy / odd event at an SC?
Triggered a lost memory: if not during the laaaaate 90s, then this was eeearly 2000s. Now defunct SC in NW DC. I was leaving, casually walking myself slowly to my car parked along the street with not a care in the world. It was a ho-hum night. Maybe 1am. Nothing outta the ordinary. I left that strip club cause I was prolly outta money and ready to hit home. I wanna say it was still summer. Even though it was DC, all was quiet up and down the street; mid-Georgia Avenue. Soon as I touch my car door handle, loud commotion at the SC erupts. I spin around. 2 dudes stumble out of the club tripping and falling over each other. Race to their parked sedan. Meanwhile 2 other dudes bust out the joint and duck quick fast around the corner. The 2 dudes in the sedan peel outta there like their lives depended on it. Here's the money shot of this dramatic tale: the 2 fellas in pursuit suddenly come from around the corner in this huge Tonka Truck. You know those Monster Trucks you see on TV? It was *like that* but *not* like that. It was a 2 story building on gigantic wheels. It was ridiculously big. If it was a monster truck I could realize that or comprehend that. This was just a Ginormous car cartoonishly big that I've never seen before that wasn't exactly a monster truck. Anyway it jet after the first two dudes. Yes, it looked like a Hollywood movie at that moment. Especially since the street was so quiet before and after they left. I had so many questions. Where was it parked? How did they drive such a thing in public? How did they get in it? Why drive it? WTF is going on? If they got money like that what are they doing here in this hole in the wall SC? And I had just left that SC and there was no hint anything was popping. The car was a Frankenstein on wheels is what I'm saying. I remember standing there a full 5 minutes afterwards in the quiet. I wanted to see it again. Then I thought oh shit maybe I don't wanna see it again and I left. I know what a Monster Truck looks like. This thing was like a 'hood Frankenstein creation on wheels. The whole drive home I was trying to picture how they got around in that thing. I'd love to see it again lol

another time I happened to visit at the tail end while rapper young thug was doing a set. this was before he was as famous as he is now and/or put an album out. A bunch of younger folks were in the SC to support him. Until the spot had enough of them and booted them out. I remember thinking 'what a generic lazy stage name for a rapper...young thug' I didn't think he'd ever be famous lol

If dancers wrote a review of you, what would they probably say?
good question! i dunno exactly what they'd say today. i'd have to ask. but back in the early 2000s, when i was clubbing, there was this one spot where a dancer told me all the dancers loved me. back then i routinely used to tip all the girls $1. all the girls respected me from then on, i guess. it was a move i stole from a friend of mine. he'd get blind drunk and wouldn't remember if he tipped anyone or not so before he'd leave, he'd give every girl a $1. he instantly became popular. anyway, the dancer who told me all the girls loved me wanted to prove it. i may have told this story before--she offered to take me into VIP for free and give me a head, no condom for free. i obliged. but i couldn't enjoy the free BJ because the whole time i kept thinking there'd be a catch. i'd have to pay somehow. this was a setup somehow. or from now on i'd owe her or something. or any moment security would barge in and ask me why didn't i pay. nope. she was right. she said she did all that on behalf all the dancers and she hoped i continued to show up. man, tho, i was so skeptical the entire time in VIP; couldn't enjoy myself.

New to strip clubs (how do you not fall in love with these hoes?)
How do you *not* fall in love with these hoes? Easy! Just go ahead *and* do fall in love with these hoes. You'll quickly realize you absolutely shouldnt. Forever. I remember my first OTC and the young dancer shows up with a baby seat in the backseat of her car. No baby, of course. But our OTC was like at 1pm in a random hotel on like a Wedesday. I had no idea she was a young mom. 2 other OTCs with other dancers both at their cribs, both places were filthy. I'm thinking you knew I was coming over, right? Didn't even attempt to clean, lol. Nah, I can't fall in love wit these chicks...

a bit of incest fantacy
I mentioned these 2 on here before: I was at a 'hood SC with a dancer sitting naked on my lap; we weren't even in any VIP we were out in the open in the main floor (I miss this spot; girls could just roam the spot naked there but too bad they didn't do it often enough) anyway her male cousin walks in with a small entourage. She yelps and tells me 'that's my cousin'. Maybe she briefly forgot she was naked, maybe not. She makes a beeline for him. Hugs him then proceeds to sit on his lap while she's still naked. They have a long convo. The look on his face when she hugged him was priceless. He was still checking out the room and completely unaware she was making a beeline to him until she got to him. Meanwhile his boys got lappies and hung out. She was on his lap naked talking for like 30-40 min. Convo was over, he leaves; some of his entourage stays, some go. She returns to me. I'm like what was that about? She was like a family member died recently so we had to talk about that and family matters and catch up. She was a hella cool chick. And no I'm definitely not the type to ever ever have strippers on my knee for any convos. I don't have small-talk range like that. But she was that rare type chick who you'd feel comfortable anywhere anytime talking to you. So it was totally on point for me to see her sit on her cousins lap naked and chat. Totally her to be just walking around naked. Miss that chick. Another time, me and my college roommate were at a SC and he recognized the chick on stage as a chick who worked at the college library, alongside us. So he asked her while shes on stage. She said yes it's her. Smiled broadly. I never paid attention to any library staff so I didn't recognize her. Days later I'm at the library again with her and she smiles and nods. Too bad I was way too shy then. I never talked to her and I didn't go back to that SC. And fellas, she was nice looking. Quiet, young slim brunette with glasses. Totally looked like typically library staff but nice looking and young. Oh and at that club it's fully nude do she got naked in front of us tho I didn't recognize her at that point so when I saw her at the library days later at work I was embarrassed because I was way too shy back then. SMH....
