The rule seems to be that every dancers sets her own rules. IME most seem to be low-ish mileage but IDK I have had a few good experiences

In my limited and humble experience I would say that there are plenty of clubs were the signs say "no touching" but there is plenty of touching or more occurring. Whether or not a club follows "the rules" is really about how interest the local enforcement is. Logically I would expect "gravity" to pull a club into being either totally permissive or totally not permissive. However, experience would seem to suggest different dancers offer different customers different things within the same club with no apparent "system." More than anything (again IMO) the biggest "secret" is to convince them you are not a vice cop.

@sinclair: excellent article. Very interesting to see you (and a few other commenters) share a similar affinity for tracking data. Younger me used to track everything I did but I just don't have the mental bandwidth anymore. Your comment: "One must do the best they can with the hand that has been dealt" is spot on.

Thanks all for the feedback.
LoL... It's like 4 or 5 sheep per person in NZ. Although not fully researched, I would agree with LG. Aussie was top shelf in the no touch gps clubs. Questionable otherwise. Bad timing LG. Too bad our trips don't overlap.

The DV in Spokane Valley is awful, so yeah SL is the only viable option despite the limitations. Review seems accurate based on my experience / knowledge.

Mons is a shell of its former glory since the covid reno. So very sad. I don't recommend. Odyssey for looks, Pasco for mileage.

What she might offer you isn't what she will offer someone else. All you are doing is shooting yourself and hurting your chances the next time you at at that club with her and every other dander she warned about you.

The ratings are HEAVILY influenced by "local" competition/comparison. Any comparison that extends beyond the same metro area is often worthless. IMHO, I think it is better to have the info that other countries / regions are less puritan about this. Gammanu's comment nails it IMO. Orlando and Pompano aren't that terribly far away by driving distance but are worlds away in service.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
^^ Or alternatively: "Wait.. how did I get over here instead of where I want to go"
I am admittedly not much of a "city" driver but I seem to always end up totally lost and no where near my intended destination (even with Garmin) whenever I go to downtown Pittsburgh.
@Capthfun: good info. thanks

"Pittsburgh is the only city I can think of where you could be looking over somewhere and think to yourself, “Wait how the fuck do I get over there”"
= Very true.

I would have to second Hi-way Playground - Yukon PA. Just awful. It has since closed.

As a semi-local... looking forward to seeing other comments here.
@motor, as with most things it depends. If you are talking the CBD... the rick's or whatever it is these days is super convenient but over price and kind of touristy. Mileage was (historically before rick's) ok hand roaming but I never got Follies treatment there. Cheerleaders is only a short cab ride away in the strip district. Mandatory valet and smoking allowed. Stage inside the bar moat. Not my scene. Theoretically a little better vale and maybe a little better mileage but again never got Follied there. My recollection (which is fallible) is a lot of the better looking dancers from other clubs are ending up at Cheerleaders, but might be some GPS here too. The McKees Rocks area is a drug deal gang banger paradise. Haven't been there in years not want to end up dead. Whatever Silky's turned into is as divey as they come. I tend to agree with you comment that most PIT clubs are tying to be high end. Personally I usually stick to the clubs further out like the Filly (or even Beemers if you don't mind the smoke, and locals only vibe, and is pretty divey IMO) but they are easily 30 mins out from the CBD. Allegheny county is pretty blue so I'm guessing pretty regulated and watched. IMO... you got to get out into a MAGA county for more leniency. The local economy hasn't help any. Where I tend to club prices haven't changed much, but mileage per dollar is definitely way down.

Going to clubs less because:
1. Do not have a CF to entice me
2. Talent is less than impressive where I frequent
3. Closest club to me is woefully unsatisfying
4. Because of #3, 3-4 hr commute to greener pastures is killing me both in time and related expensed

^^ I would agree that is where farmerart was based but my recollection is that his clubbing was more GTA and Toronto sweetie. [RIP farmerart, a legend who is missed]

This has basically already been said... a good warm up dance is no guarantee of good VIP but a bad warm up dance sure tells you there is a ceiling on the VIP dance.
I tend to categorize clubs into two buckets: regular customer business model and tourist customer business model. Sure touristy place like Vegas have no real reason to care about repeat business. I might be biased but I've long assumed (and more so pre-2008) that the regular customer business model was the only way to survive outside a touristy area. In my clubbing I usually seem to "lose out" to a dancer's regular.
