Reserved seating and roped off sections
My favorite club has such a section. It's not expensive to sit there---I think it's $50/hr. I don't understand the appeal. It's far away from the stage, and the club itself is set up to encourage girls to sit with the customer anyway. Some ppl just want to feel like ballers....

Seven Seas nude lounge shut down today in Tampa
There's a reason they called it the Seven Sleaze. Tampa's a very competitive market for SCs. Come on, you have to compete against a BUNCH of high end places(Mons, 2001, Skin, Penthouse, Dollhouse, Gold Club) and some places which are guaranteed extras(Scarlett's).

Credit Cards at a Strip Club
I don't even bring my ATM or credit card into the club. I set a budget and stick to it. Even using the strip club ATM will screw you. I know one club where the ATM service fee is $10 or 10% of the amount withdrawn. OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Smoking, when it comes down to it
@fetish_dancer---actually, drinking in moderation IS NOT UNHEALTHY. Bioflavonoids and all that. I drink Guinness. It's as good for you as red wine. Cardiac health, reduced blood pressure, etc. The three or four tokes I take off of my pipe pale in comparison to sitting in a smoky SC for three hours. And the cigarette SMELL that clings to my clothes afterwards is sickening. I don't smoke "blunts". I'm not ghetto. I'm a white guy. Pipe or vaporizer, sweetheart. Smoking WILL eventually be banned indoors everywhere. It's simple. If I'm sitting in a room not smoking, it doesn't affect anyone else. If someone smokes, it affects EVERYONE else.

Smoking, when it comes down to it
@Fetish Dancer----your point makes no sense. There is no reason why someone who wants to enjoy a cold beer in a bar should have to be subjected to cigarette smoke. The two activities are not linked. Smoking rates are at 25% or less, while more people than that drink. As for your other idiotic point, when I smoke pot IN PUBLIC I'll agree. But I do it in my own home or in my car in a parking lot. WTF are you talking about? The pro-smoking lobby wants to whine about "liberties" and "rights" but when the voters voice THEIR opinions, smoking bans pass overwhelmingly. Then the pro-smokers complaing that they're being oppressed. So, they want to be free to force their behavior on others(and regardless of opinion, some people are forced THROUGH THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES to work in smoke-filled environments), but get upset when voters use the law to empower theirs. Funny, that.

    Expectations.............
It depends on which club I visit. I know some clubs where I'm guaranteed extras, and I know some clubs where I'm guaranteed to see drop dead gorgeous Playboy-level women. It's all about what you want.

Smoking, when it comes down to it
@fetish_dancer----And just why should smoking be allowed in a bar? What makes a bar so special? Because alcohol is served? Because it's a place for "adults"? That's bogus. There is nothing inherently UNHEALTHY about having a drink. It's recommended by physicians, actually. People who choose to work in a bar(or a strip club) shouldn't have to choose between their health and a paycheck, simply because some people CHOOSE to have a filthy habit that imposes itself on people around them.

Smoking, when it comes down to it
Clubber---how about the other clubs in Hillsborough County which are smoke-free and are raking in the bucks? Let me make it as crystal clear as I can for you, OK? People don't go to strip clubs to smoke. If the option to smoke is removed, people WILL STILL GO TO LOOK AT AND GROPE YOUNG NAKED SLUTS. Unless they're gay, that is. But, there is an oral fixation involved in smoking(the cigarette/cigar representing the smoker's desire for cock), so maybe I'm on the right track there..... Encroachment on your liberties? No. You have no "right to smoke". However, I have a right to clean air.

Smoking, when it comes down to it
Clubber----smoking is not the reason for the existance of the SC. People go to SCs DESPITE the smoking. As I've mentioned to you before, one of the top rated clubs in the US is non-smoking(Mons Venus). Go ahead and read the reviews. See anyone bitching that their club experience was lessened because they couldn't smoke? GMD---the smoker IS forced to endure the smoke, if he wants to see and enjoy naked women. Or go to a nightclub, or a pub. Samsung--the smoking ban is not going to be targeted at strip clubs. It's going to be a blanket law stating no smoking indoors. Period. Saying the next step will be six foot laws is a bit of a stretch, IMHO. Smokers intrude upon non-smokers when they smoke. Period.

What is your favorite strip club and why?
Brass Flamingo, in New Port Richey, FL. Pasco County, FL is a hidden gem in the strip club world. Full liquor, full nude, and high mileage dances. This club is my favorite because it's comfortable. The layout is centered around the stage, which is nice. The lights are kept fairly bright, so you can see what's going on. And prices are affordable, for a SC.

    Smoking ban in Michigan
@georgemicrodong----so, if that's the case, what would a SC have to do to be considered a "private place"? Charge a membership? If it's that simple I think every club would do it. The law must be more specific than that.

    Vacations
My choices for vacation this year were all in Florida(since I live here LOL). I was either going to visit friends in the Panhandle, head down to Miami to check out the SC scene, or Daytona. Now all those appear to be targets for the oil slick. Sucks.

    Smoking ban in Michigan
@Clubber---I don't have to examine Mons' books when it's SRO every time I visit. Same for 2001 Odyssey.Penthouse Club is where the Bucs, Rays, and Lightning players hang out. I've also seen Jeter there. They're raking in the cash. Guys don't go to SCs to smoke. They go to ogle and grope hot young women. DandyDan is right. Most people do not smoke. Smokers should have to adjust to the desires of the majority. FFS, go outside to smoke, just like at a restaurant.

    Smoking ban in Michigan
I've been to Mons and 2001, both of which are non-smoking. It's nice to leave a club smelling only of dancer perfume and pussy. My buddy smokes and had no problem stepping outside to smoke. Smoking intrudes on other people's health and happiness. So if I want to see strippers without driving the extra distance to Tampa, I have to suffer the stinging eyes and burning throat caused by smokers. Not to mention the extra dry-cleaning bills. @Clubber----Mons Venus, 2001 Odyssey, and Penthouse Club are all non-smoking. Their business does not suffer. A ban on smoking in all public buildings will be enacted state-by-state, I'm certain. What's the smoking percentage now, 25? Less? People are tired of enduring smoke.

Looks-Whatcha Lookin for in a Dancer?
I like young(18-25), fit, flat abs, C or larger boobs(natural or augmented). Height is not important. A woman who's 6'5" in her heels is HOT. Pretty face and good teeth are a must. A tan and manicure get bonus points. Luckily I live close enough to Tampa that I can visit Mons regularly. It's a buffet of my favorites. Why am I so particular @ the SC? Because I'm paying money to see and experience women I don't encounter every day. I like women who are out of my league.

    The Massage Guy
No, but my club has a "Sketch Pad Guy". This guy carries a sketch pad with him and draws caricatures of the dancers, then lets them draw what they want. It seems kind of creepy but some of the girls seem to like it.

What was your 1st strip club experience?
I was 18 and stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. There's a club called The Clown's Den just over the CO border. This was a topless club which served alcohol and food. They didn't do lap dances. There were table dances. I spent a whole lot less money than I do now. LOL

    "I'm a Stripper not a Whore"
If a dancer makes less money than another dancer, she will ALWAYS think the second dancer is a "whore". I heard it from three different dancers on Wednesday night. Funny thing is, they all call each other whores, so that would mean they're ALL performing extras. Are extras necessry to make good money in a SC? Not at all. I've seen dancers who make good money without doing them. But those dancers are either super attractive, really good dancers, or both. Dancers who resent the ones who do extras just need to step up their game. I know a dancer who contantly complains to me that she's not making enough, but she sits on her ass when she's not onstage, and she's lacking in attractiveness. Needs a gym.

    Older vs. Younger
I like younger dancers. I really like meeting a girl on her first night. Being a regular has its advantages---other dancers clue me in when there's a newbie. I have met older dancers who I found attractive, but they're still under 30. Yeah, I'm a sicko. LOL
