Dress codes are annoying. I was once denied admission to a club for wearing nice looking black work out pants. The woman in line behind me (also a customer) was admitted wearing black leggings. I asked why the obvious gender discrimination on dress code enforcement--- "that's just the way it is" was the answer I received.
At a different club I asked about the rationale for the posted dress code (no sweat pants, no athletic shorts) and the female attendant said, "because men get erections and the dancers don't want to deal with that." Does this logic mean that dress pants and underwear prevent erections??

She does have a nice body! But she also has a serious case of GPS. She sat with me during a recent visit. I bought her a drink but she was not especially talkative and not into any contact at the booth. Her prices were unrealistic. I eventually had to ask her to leave so that I could talk with other prospects.

Criket used to be one of my favorites but new management seems to have removed any standards for hiring talent. My last visit was a short one; I'm not a fan of dancers whose rolls of adipose tissue make the Michelin Man look like an athlete in comparison.

Porn has become mainstream and lots (maybe most?) strippers will admit to watching and enjoying porn. I would hypothesize that porn exposure has increased sexual experimentation for women viewers. I hear more strippers talk about being bisexual, having no qualms about doing a BJ or anal. Of course, I know that the relationship between porn viewing and sexual experimentation is correlational in nature; the causal relationship could go either direction (or there could be an unidentified third variable that drives both porn viewing and sexual experimentation).

Seems to be a recurring theme at Angels. Many of the dancers hang out with regulars or with the manager. Customers should also know that the private dances are video recorded, in spite of the sign on the door that prohibits photos or video recording.

This review is short on details but otherwise accurate regarding a solid afternoon line up of dancers and the lack of extras (cameras monitor the lap dance areas).
A few other details: no admission charge during the afternoon, drinks are reasonably priced for a strip club ($5.50 for most beers), food gets good reviews, single lap dances are $20 per song.

@623 You are correct that Canada is much more enlightened than the USA regarding prostitution. Do you think that accounts for differing tendencies to list massage parlors?
Actually, areas of the country where strip clubs are most boring (think Orlando and other cities with very restricted strip club scenes) would seem to be prime candidates for an active massage parlor scene. Areas where the strip club scene is more "fun" (maybe Miami, Detroit, Atlanta (or should I say Follies-ville)) would not seem to have as strong a market for massage parlors.
Personally, I like having the massage parlor listings. They provide some options in cities where the strip club scene is boring.

Accurate review. Not sure how long you stayed but I've never heard anyone mention a 2 drink minimum. But then again, I typically don't stay longer than an hour or two and I routinely tip the waitress. Speaking of tips, you probably over paid the bouncer. $5 or $10 would have been OK.
You are correct about the club allowing smoking-- it can be an issue for non-smokers.
Good job on the negotiations.

I've seen reports of an uptick in police action in Jax, mostly focused on trafficking but some focused on the strip clubs.
