Visited: Wednesday Afternoon

I visited The Landing Strip on a Wednesday dayshift. It’s a definite improvement from the way it was years ago, feeling more like a high-end club than a dive bar. One long airplane shaped stage sits in the middle of the club with 4 poles for the girls to use. The stage is ringed by tables and booths run along both sides of the walls. The men’s room is small, but clean with no bathroom troll, and a bar sits at the far end of the club.

Pros: the lighting was good (track lights for miles) and I wasn’t getting hit with lasers from the ceiling or coughing on smoke being released from the stage. The table chairs were comfy as well. The staff from the valet to the hostess and my waitress were all very polite.

Cons: Valet parking ($7.00) is required and a soft drink cost over $7 and there is a two drink minimum. Also, smoking is allowed in the club and the music didn't reflect the crowd. One dancer used country, one used rock, and the rest were rap and R&B.

The crowd was mostly white and working class and numbered from about 12 to twenty as the day went on.

There were about 12-15 dancers who were mostly white and ranged from 5-8. Two of the three AA dancers were quite attractive, and the white dancers (several attractive) were mostly blonde with one redhead and one brunette. I received attention from numerous dancers and had my eye on a short haired spinner, but she was swept away by a regular. I spent some time with a dancer, (8, blonde, small breasts, nice butt) whose hands roamed freely under the table, making sure I was ready for a dance. We went downstairs to the VIP area. I tipped the bouncer $20 (he didn’t ask, but I wanted privacy) and he admitted us into a decent sized booth with a comfy couch and he closed the curtains for us. If I have one compliant about the booth its that it is too dark. I could barely see the dancer. Dances are $25, I believe, but she offered an upsell for $$. I countered with $ and we met in the middle for a covered French lesson, which was damn good
