The inconsistencies in the Michigan policies are maddening. Massage parlors are open in Michigan. Do lap dances offer any more risk of COVID transmission than a massage? Nearly every social interaction carries some risk, but I would be willing to accept that level of risk for a massage or for a lap dance (especially a lap dance at Bogarts or any of the other high mileage clubs near the Detroit airport!).
To me, the most compelling rationale for closing restaurants, bars and strip clubs is the risk of COVID transmission when you bring a bunch of strangers together in an enclosed space. Unless the club has a very low customer count and enforces social distancing practices, I'll probably refrain from visiting the clubs until I get the vaccine.

Helpful list of favorite HM clubs in the midwest. I concur with the recommendation for the clubs around the Detroit airport. I might add Dream Girls and Subi's to the Detroit list. Of course, clubs and restaurants in Michigan are shuttered for now, due to COVID.
I'm not sure that I'd put Hip Hugger, Atlantis and 390 in the same category as the Detroit clubs. Based on very limited visits to these clubs, they seemed to offer high mileage but fewer extras than Detroit.
I've never visited Rio (Indy) or the Washington Park Clubs, but I'd like to do so.

Thanks. I enjoy comparative reviews. When travel opportunities open up, hopefully after some widespread vaccine distribution, it is helpful to have a synopsis that compares the clubs in a travel destination, such as Atlanta.

Great idea! Two thoughts-- 1) would a VIP only area be open for more explicit reviews? 2) I would also love to have some comparative reviews-- people who can compare and contrast clubs in a given locale.
Maybe this is a completely separate issue-- I would love to have some reviews of massage parlors. This is possibly spurred by the shut down of strip clubs in many areas of the country, but massage parlors are still open for business. I know that this topic has been previously discussed and I also know that we have a few massage parlor listings in certain areas (e.g., Metro Toronto).

I've read a lot more books, notables include "Overstory," "underground Railroad" and "Ordinary Grace."
I've enjoyed lots of hikes.
I've kept a tab on the birds that feast at my feeders.
And, I've discovered the joys of massage parlors, which remain open even when the strip clubs have been closed.
