Friday past Midnight. Crowded but worth it
Sounds promising. Is this one of the higher mileage (or extras friendly) clubs in Austin or are there other good alternatives?

If dancers wrote a review of you, what would they probably say?
He's a horny old man who wants to fuck you in all three holes, but at least he's clean, respectful, tips well, and has a good sense of humor.

Bullshit stripper advice to other strippers
BlahBlahBlah: That is truly awful advice. Are you sure that they aren't trying to sabotage their competition with that advice? Recall the old adage: "With friends like these, who needs enemies?" If I was offering advice to a new stripper it would include: 1. When you're on stage, make eye contact with the customers and smile. If the customer smiles back, he/she might be a good candidate for spending money on you. 2. If a customer tips you on stage, stop by afterwards to say thanks. Ask if they'd like some company; do not just plop down without getting permission to join the customer. 3. Don't overdo the make up, especially if it is prone to rubbing off during a lap dance. Never, ever wear glitter. Go light on the perfume, or go without perfume. Make sure that you smell (and are) clean---- all parts of your body! 4. Use your time wisely; your time (and body) is money. If you join a customer for a conversation, find a way to check on their interest in a private dance within 5 -10 minutes. If they are not interested, politely excuse yourself and move on to the next customer. 5. How you dance on stage does matter. You don't need to perform world class pole tricks to attract attention. Actually, I sometimes avoid the dancers who put all of their focus into gymnastic pole tricks, in favor of those who are sexy and attempt to make "connection" with the customers. But you should dance confidently and rhythmically. If you are comfortable being seductive and touching your body on stage, that is also a turn on for some customers. If you can wade through the trolls and sarcasm, you can get some pretty good advice from TUSCL members.

Too much of a good thing is never enough
    Mother and daughter duo.
Cruzer. No luck spotting Rose. Papi: I generally agree with your comment about stage tipping attracting company that you don't want. But I typically have no problem telling a dancer (politely!) to check back later. Of course some dancers are pushy and sit without even asking, but for me that seems to happen with the less attractive dancers who try to monopolize a customer's time as soon as he sits down. Those are the dancers who more difficult to avoid so that you can check out the other talent.

@Pussylicker. That is a good reason to have mandatory valet for many clubs (i.e., holding the car keys as insurance against a patron who tries to renege on payment with a dancer). In this particular club, i'm aware that mandatory valet was implemented about 3-4 years ago in response to complaints from city residents about about rowdy patrons leaving the club late at night and wandering around the downtown creating problems. Evidently, the mandatory valet keeps the patrons in the parking lot, rather than in the downtown streets. Of course that policy also has the added benefit that you identified. You're right that the mother daughter duo was a hard pass.

    A catch-all account
Oh Toledo, not sure why exist!
@59: Actually, I like reviews that compare multiple clubs. After all, many readers will consult these reviews when trying to decide which club(s) to visit. Why not allow reviewers who have visited multiple clubs in the same trip to compare the clubs.

    Way back machine: Carnival strippers
If not mistaken, Ringling Brothers bought out a number of competing circuses and cleaned up the acts to make it more family friendly. Ringling still retained the side shows which had a separate admission from the Big Top, three ring circus. Some of the side shows featured novelty acts (mostly albinos, Siamese twins, etc.) A few featured exotic dancers.

Quality of dancers declined in 2022 for this Beautiful club
Given the above comments from dawgmoney and Papi, I'd like to change my vote to a thumbs DOWN! That is one of the minor limitations of the review process. The review is blind, which is usually a good thing. But you don't know who is submitting the review so you can't check their historical reviews of the same club to make sure it is an original versus a rehashed review of the club.

Best place to start a new club?
A number of states have legalized casinos. Some of these casinos are located in somewhat rural areas between two or more major population centers. Most of the casinos have easy access to interstates. Many of these casinos attract a steady flow of customers from the adjacent cities. Why not locate a strip club near an interstate exit that features a popular casino. Better yet, you could focus on a state that had legalized recreational marijuana. Nothing like combining vices: gambling, weed and strippers. Cautionary note: some of the casinos are located on tribal lands so you'll need to verify that land is available close to the casino that would not be regulated by overly restrictive zoning ordinances. Or, find a tribe with a bunch of horny elders/leaders who would consider reinvesting some of the casino profits in a strip club.

    Worst dance ever.
Sometimes a rookie stripper is eager to learn and takes suggestions well. Sometimes they are so far off that you should just cut your losses. Good move, Shadowcat. Similar experience here. Early in my strip club days, I had a cute, neophyte dancer convince me to go for a private dance, promising that "we'll have fun." We got to the private dance area and she asked me to pay for the dance up front (a bad sign) and then asked me to sit on my hands while she danced topless about 5 feet away. I was polite in letting her finish the song (it seemed like an unusually long song!) but I declined a second dance, much to her disappointment. When she asked why I declined a second dance, I described what other dancers typically allowed in a lap dance (all dancers allowed physical contact up top, most dancers allowed more). She looked shocked. I think that she might have had a very short career as a dancer. Lesson learned. I now know that "we'll have fun" means that the dancer will have fun collecting money from the customer. Not sure what fun the customer derives, unless blue balls is their idea of fun.

So bad, I’ll have to visit again
Club is accurately described. The talent is the problem at CJ. Lots of overweight dancers on most days. If that is your thing, then you can have a good time.
