I recall Luby's having good food. Much better than typical cafeterias. And better than many diner-type restaurants. Of course, it was over 20 years ago and quality and service were better in the good old days. Note: I never tried the liver. Not a fan in general.

Luby's was my favorite cafeteria when I lived in TX. King of the Hill fans from TX should get the "Luanne Platter" joke.

Agree. Hope the club makes it. Remember when Night Shift was *thee* place to be? Circa 2001. My last visit was at least a decade ago.

I haven't been to Hooters for over 20 years. Overpriced and low quality food. I thought the company was in trouble and closing locations recently. I suspect that the new shorter shorts "controversy" is all just an advertising ploy. The old uniforms were dated anyway. As ratdog said "ass is da new tits".

During one of my visits back in June/July, I spent some time talking with a Dominican dancer. Dominican heritage, not from there. Very pretty. Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name, so I can verify if she's still around via the posted schedule. Anyone know a name?

Cover charge? Was there a special event? It's been several weeks since my last visit and they had a bouncer in the late afternoon, which was new to me. I recall a Honey like you described at MS a few years ago... I hope it's the same one.

I think it's the same owner, Scott, who has run the place for 2+ decades. Not sure why they had a doorman on a Tuesday afternoon also. I have rarely seen one at the Millstream. I'm not sure of the exact Baltimore County rules, but nipples are to be covered at all times. I've seen the pasties go from big and opaque to a dusting of make-up in the past. Perhaps the interpretation of covered nips is changing back again.

Night Shift was the place to go in Bmore 20 years ago. Unfortunately, its decline started shortly after. I haven't been there for at least 10 years, maybe even 15!

I visited CL about a year ago while on a work trip. I went with a much younger female colleague. It was not the normal strip club experience by any means, but we had a good time. Part strip club, part dance club, part regular bar. About half the dancers were older, but the other half were typical. I recall getting a private dance from a particularly hot anime inspired dancer. I'd definitely return and hope all are okay at CL.

I was aware. First heard of it while living in TX 25+ years ago. Had not heard much since moving from there long ago though. And never as much as this year, even back in TX. Definitely an important event and something that US citizens should remember and respect.

Top off and toys? That's a lot more than I have seen there for years. Agree that HC was much better a decade ago.

I did not get any dances on this visit. Typically, they are not worth it - you have to keep hands to yourself and the songs are short. And they cost about $35 on average, when purchased individually. The bar has several menu cards that list the pricing for various options. Rooms are available, but I have not been in one of those for a few years. The Millstream is not known for its lap dances. Unfortunately, I have not had a quality dance in Bmore for at least five years....

Anyone remember Teasers in Cocoa Beach, FL? A storm/tornado hit the place back in the mid 1990's. I had been there with a buddy the night before. On the night of the storm we were in a sports bar watching basketball. Lots of damage to the club. It reopened after a couple weeks and then changed to Lido Cabaret a few years after that. Teasers was a great place. Could not beat $5 lap dances!

Baltimore was a lot more fun 5+ years ago. Two way touch, topless at least, and with most girls. My clubbing has been way down the past couple years. Hope things turn around.

Hustler has been bikini dances for a long time; 2 for $40 on my last visit months ago. Are you talking about Hustler? If so, I'm in no hurry to go again. The Millstream has $30 topless/pastie, no touch dances. Also, not very much fun. Regarding how to proceed - Keep trying, I guess. Although it sounds like things have progressed very slowly so far...
