I really don’t think the cameras are in use.
I’m still baffled over the paranoia of an ID scan. I’ve never received anything in the mail in nearly 20 years of having my ID scanned or have had anything come of it. It actually makes sense to do it for all the reasons that Jmanskald mentioned.
If I was so terrified of someone finding out I was at a strip club that it would destroy my career and relationship, I probably wouldn’t go. LE could show up and raid while you are there.

I can’t imagine the girls would ever even want to do a VIP unless they know the guy is very generous. They can make more doing two regular dances in less than half the time.

This was a low key great spot for high mileage with decent girls 5-10 years ago, but unfortunately times have changed and this place has been on my “no go” list for a few years.

I’m skeptical of that liquor board excuse. Wouldn’t it take a new bill to change the laws? Why would length of the dance matter? Has Golden Horseshoe or other WV clubs made the same change?

Yep. Classic bad decision clubs make to squeeze more money out of the patrons they have rather than provide an overall better experience to attract more business. I hope this comes back to bite them.

I think she looks every bit of 60. It would really show in natural light or without the hair dye. She’s older than my mom. I just can’t.

Good review. The Lounge in Portage is very small and more similar to a regular club than the bar shows, but mostly same type of crowd as you described. There is a stage in the corner and a room for VIP dances (still only one at a time) as opposed to in the bus parked outside at the traveling shows.
I’ve tried out a VIP with Dicky, wouldn’t recommend.

@OG I agree with your general points about reviews. I don’t agree with submitting an almost exact copy of a review you read a week ago.

@package I suppose you’re right but reviewers are bashed for writing a generic, short, or useless review just for the free membership on any other club’s page. Playhouse though is “Yeah! Devon! Preach it brother!”

@jackstraw. Fair enough, but why bother writing up something that has been said many times just in the last month? Offer a fresh perspective. I know these people posting have read the 1000 identical reviews.

I swear this review pops up every week. I get it. Devon… pleasant lady, DFK, consistent service, no extra tip. I’m glad you all love her. I get it! Doesn’t need posted over and over.

@BumHip That’s what I always thought. Didn’t even cross my mind that I was being recorded into some database. Never understood why everyone’s so freaked out by that. My license has probably been scanned hundreds of times.

I remember back when they used to have features every weekend. Still have Polaroids with Gauge, Nautica Thorn, and Jenna Haze lol. Better times for sure.

$220 is steep. I’ve tried out Demi before, good dance but not worth that much. $120-140 would be much more reasonable. Iris looks great, probably would still consider her.

On the road
People see a long review with paragraphs and it’s an auto approve. Shorter and/or no paragraphs, auto reject. What matters is the actual content, if it’s useful and not just a word salad.

Gulf Coast. I’m not your boss.
I disagree about Hooters. The girls at King of Prussia are still pretty damn hot and I’ve always really liked their hot and 3 mile island sauces. Miss having the locations in Mechanicsburg and York, PA. Fun times going to watch football and UFC/WWE PPVs back in the day.

In this instance I think he was flustered and ended saying something foolish. He’s clearly not as sharp as he’s been in the past, not at Biden levels, but it’s undeniable. He’s been flailing ever since Biden dropped out.

I like Louis CK a lot as a comic. If you want to take this bit as gospel, okay. His white privilege didn’t save him from the backlash of masturbating in front of women comics.

I could be wrong but I think it started around when they reopened after Covid with Tatiana. Mercedes was trying to pull that shit probably close to a decade ago, same with a handful of nighttime girls that would come and go.
On the bright side dance prices there have stayed $30 since at least 2006 so we’re kind of fortunate it hasn’t been raised across the board.

I don’t see how regular girls who aren’t celebrities or well known can make that much on onlyfans. How does anyone find their profile and randomly subscribe? Even the strippers I’ve seen that have one charge like $10 a month. You’d need a ton of subscribers to make anywhere close to the earning potential in the club even in declining times.

I think it’s mostly because a lot of the clubs just aren’t that good anymore. Why would you want to hand over your discretionary income to below average women with poor attitudes/personalities? If it were a consistently good experience more people would find the money to go.

I’ve seen clubs make this mistake so many times. Raising prices when business is already slowing and demand is down. The strategy to get more money from fewer people is never sustainable.

Seeing 75% of the girls with excessive tattoos frustrates me even more than fat ones at this point. It makes them all kind of look the same. No one stands out. Every single one would look better without the tats and they’d be more popular with 90% of men.

The block definitely isn’t for everyone. I went one time many years ago and was so skeeved out that I’d never go back under any circumstances. The nut low.

Having turned 40 this year, I’m much more open to older dancers than when I was in my early to mid 20s and first discovered playhouse. Problem is it’s been a lot of the same women over that entire time and I’ve seen them age.
I’ve always only went a few times a year, but it’s gotten increasingly stale for me. I’ve been longing for new younger dancers there for years. I’m not content like most of you are seeing the same dancers over and over again year after year.
There is the worry that Playhouse loses what makes it unique with turnover but there has to be a point when it’s necessary.
