I'm done with Al's

I think I'm done with this place. Went back for the first time since before Covid hoping to see something of a rebirth. Al's had been in decline for years prior to the pandemic, but I had thought a pause may have given them time to reboot. Alas, not the case. The place is just dismal at this point.

I went in on a Saturday night, when any club worth its salt should be totally hoppin'. There were about 10 dancers around, but...guh. I don't like to put anyone down, but I'm looking for beautiful, sexy women when I go to a strip club. I did not find one on this particular Saturday night. Most were dramatically overweight, and while I'm all for body positivity, this is not the business for it. Didn't take long to realize Al's really had nothing of interest to offer.

And that's sad, because this used to be an amazing club. It used to have gorgeous dancers any day of the week, A-list feature dancers almost every weekend, reasonably priced lap dances and champagne-room dances. Now, though, it's just depressing, and I find I would much rather just stay home.
