Devon, Devon, Devon!

God, never thought I'd say this but I miss NJ!! Jersey handshake and the Playhouse. Moved to Houston 6 months ago and the clubs down there are great but nothing is like the Playhouse. Was in the Philly area and had to go back.

So layout hasn't changed. Very dark when you get in but your eyes adjust. You walk in with the bar in the center of the room. Dancers dance behind the bar and there is a couple feet between the bar and the walls of the place. Private dance rooms are in the back and along one side of the bar. 4-5 TV's playing sports or whatever. This is a BYOB so bring your drinks but there is a $10 cover. Also dances are $30 per song.

I called their phone number to see who was working and was glad to hear Devon was on schedule. Walked in and there were probably 10 girls you could see working. Sat at the bar and most of them methodically came over to shake my "hand" and ask for a dance. I tipped each a dollar or two as they showed there wears but told them maybe later.

Eventually, Devon came over, smiled here great smile and said hello. She may have gained a couple pounds since I'd seen her last but that smile and her easy going attitude make it all worth while. told her I'd like to drink a little of my beer but was definitely interested. She said no problem and to just give her a look when I was ready. Sat and drank a little and chatted with a couple other girls but eventually made eye contact again with Devon and she came right over.

We went back to get some private dances and the fun began. One other thing I love about this place is they announce when each song is over for each booth so there is never any questions about how many dances.
