Central PA's only traveling strip show - coming to a town near you.
This is a follow-up to my review about a month ago. I've had the chance to go to 2-3 more of the traveling shows that this organization puts on at different restaurants/bar around the West-Central PA wasteland that is essentially devoid of decent strip clubs. Depending upon where the show is located (and they have a Bodies in Motion Facebook page that is kept up to date) they will post the location of their Friday and Saturday traveling shows (and the schedule is usually 2-3 weeks into the future as well). The Thursday night shows are now all at the physical club space they have in Portage, PA (see Dolomite's review of that for this club).
Anyway, the shows I went to all had $10 cover charges (there are some locations where the cover charge is lower -- I am not sure why) and there is no drink minimum with that (I usually get water just because I usually have to drive afterwards) and that runs $4-6 dollars. The bars all seem to be fully stocked with beer, wine and spirits. The shows are all pretty much the same: at 10:30 pm, the girls all come out in various revealing costumes and shortly thereafter, most all get topless and they go around doing open lap dances to anyone in the audience that seems to want one. There is not "posted" rate for the open lap dances and most customers tip $1-5 per dance. These dances have a brief bit of grind but they are not the full-on rappers that most of us are accustomed to. If you stop tipping, they'll leave and go to another customer. There are also designated chairs set up near the DJ booth where more full-on lap dances occur, i.e., ones with considerably more one-way grind. I think those are $20 each. Then there are the private dances in the van that are timed $100/15 minutes, $150/30 minutes. These tend to be a bit more two-way touching and tend to have a lot more grind in general but the dances themselves are fairly closely monitored via camera that is quite conspicuously mounted near the area where the private dance takes place. Most, but not all, of the dancers will get fully nudes during the private dances in the van. I've had private (fully legal) dances from Mulan and Destiny and have enjoyed myself with both women.
The girls are all in the 20-30 age range and are generally pretty attractive -- I'd say mostly "6-8"s with an occasional "5" and most all of the dancers have the appropriate body build for this particular profession. And night after night, week after week, there is a core of the BOM dancers that perform. After my 3rd or 4th show, you recognize most all of the girls and the show is mostly all the same. I guess that you can become a "regular" if you show up a lot, but being a regular for this traveling show doesn't necessarily reap a great deal of additional benefit -- the girls are all pretty good about going around and dancing "on" people whether they are regulars or not -- even if there are women in the audience (and there were always women at all of the events I attended).
Finally, there are some of the venues that are a great setup for a traveling strip club party and other places are less optimal (primarily due to the small, cramped size of the place). In summary, it's a fun evening to see "cute" girls with their tits hanging out in a regular bar/restaurant and it generally won't break the bank. On the other hand, the show and the activities are pretty much the same and tedium seems to be a definite possibility with these events.
