This is not anything like your average strip club experience

As you all should know, Central PA is a veritable strip club desert with literally nothing of any value to visit. This company, Bodies in Motion, has tried to address that "need" in a relatively novel fashion; they have traveling "strip shows" on Friday and Saturday nights at different venues in the west-central part of PA. They also have a physical location in Portage, PA where they have shows on Thursday nights but I have never been there.

This is my second visit with this operation -- this time the performance was at an Italian restaurant in Hollidaysburg, PA. I got there about 10:45 pm and stayed until about 1:00 am. This scene is much different than a strip club per se. First off is the lighting -- it is totally normal of what you would see in a bar or restaurant. Second, because it is a bar/restaurant, there is not "stage" and so the girls are sitting on the bar or lounging on pool tables to shake their assets. Third - the dancers are all (very literally) GND types who are coming in to try to make a little money. And the atmosphere ranges from pretty laid back to a "party" type atmosphere with LOTS of other non-dancing women and couples present for the show. It is sort of a mind-blowing experience to be in an Italian restaurant and have all of these 20-something year old girls walking about topless (probably even more so for the clientele who actually eat in the restaurant during normal times). And finally, there isn't any "stripping" going on, just young girls walking around in their underwear topless.

There are chairside lap dances that are whatever you'd like to tip the girl. Depending upon the girl, there is a mix between a nice brief grind to jiggling up and down in front of you with considerable air in-between. I tended to tip between $1 and $4 dollars per dance (and they don't really adhere to the song length either). There are $20 dollar lap dances that are done in the open but these are usually a full song grind. And then there is the VIP dance done in the van that sits out in the street and there it is private (in that you and your dancer are the only ones in there) but there is an obvious camera monitor watching the goings on (most assuredly for dancer safety concerns). The prices for those dances are $100/15 mins, $150/30 mins and $200/60 mins. The number of available VIP dances is quite limited ('cause no one else can go in there if there is a private dance going on) so if you want a VIP dance, you have to get in the queue relatively early on into the night or you won't get one.
