Just remembered I did go Thursday and Sunday in that timeframe, so you mat be right.

This was on a Sunday and I got there before midnight.. Based on that I assumed it was the same as the one Jackslash saw.

I saw a couple of the contestants a couple of weeks ago at Flight Club. One was a well trained singer. Something I've never seen at other amateur Nights.

There was a customer showing a couple of young ladies around the club. I was sitting at the main floor bar. Then at 2:AM there was a ruckus in the upstairs bar above me and someone splashes their drink on me over the upstairs railing. The downstairs bartender leaps over the bar and runs upstairs. The bouncer comes down the stairs pulling the customer by the ear with the young ladies running behind. The customer looked like he was in a lot of pain.

CNN said it was suicide. He was supposed to make a four part documentary about Detroit 1963, but haven't heard anything yet

At Flight Club yesterday they said the buffet was prepared by a Five Star chef or something to that effect and did say it was special for the customers. They also announced that Stormy Daniels would be there on May 15th. I've never eaten at s strip club before since I normally have my own schedule but did try a few items at Flight Club yesterday.

They've been arresting people in the area that have illegal guns.

Penthouse's ad in Metro Times news stand edition says they're remodeling and re-pening May 4. Sometimes schedules aren't met but this may be different.

Looked like they had been opened when I drove by at 2:30 AM last night. Called today and they said they are open. A dancer from Penthouse said the curtains were already down. Otherwise could be hearsay one way or the other.

In Detroit, on 8 Mile, someone forced their way into my car with a gun, pushed the gun against the side of my head, and got the money from my wallet. He told me to drive my car across the street and to stop. Then he jumped out and ran. Just down the street from there a dancer was shot when she left her club after closing time. It’s a bad area that’s been getting more attention lately. Other clubs on 8 mile have several valets and should have enough security. Inside the clubs the bouncers will normally stop anything from getting out of control.

I remember this one fight that was a little unusual. The owner of the club got into a fight with his brother and was chasing him out the door swinging a wooden chair at him.

Fentanyl is 30 to 50 times more potent than heroin so they can use it with drugs that aren't addictive to sell more of those drugs. There's an opiate for elephants, carfentanil, thats said to thousands of times stronger. There's only a couple of cases where it's been used with cocaine and this may or not be a trend but still a concern.

It took me years to stop smoking. Because of that I never use drugs under any circumstances.

One dancer told me she was heavy into drugs. A month later they found her body in a trash bin. Drug dealers sometimes mix a little fentanyl with other drugs to get people addicted. There's been recent cases where fentanyl was mixed with cocaine

Wonder if they were just checking for outstanding warrants. Otherwise wouldn't they have to prepare the warrants in advance.

Used to be a club in on Eight mile in Detroit Detroit called the Booby Trap. As far as I know this was the first club opened by the current owner of Penthouse and Flight Club in Detroit. Before it was called the Booby Trap a previous owner had his car booby trapped in the parking lot and lost both his legs around 2:AM. I lived close by. The explosion woke me up and I remember 4 or 5 guys standing around a red car looking inside at something.

The only 'signs' on the club now are two sets of big letters saying 'TRUTH' and the big letter T on the front. It hasn't been open and there's speculation it"s going to be a parish or church. It wasn't open Sunday morning.
