I had to dig up this post.
She’s lost even more weight and my prediction came true. I’m not a chubby chaser - but I do prefer thicker women over skinny anorexic chicks - but I do find her rather attractive

FUCK IT!
A lot of posts about an ex-Presidents kid
If we gonna go down that road, let’s talking about Jenna Bush admitting she doesn’t wear underwear
I thought she was the better looking twin.

I didn’t know girls got naked on Twitter - might have to sign up
I’m still using Facebook as my only social media (other than TUSCL) - they tease with bikini babes but no nudity
I know the young ‘uns laugh at old geezers who still use Facebook but at least I’ve move beyond My Space

I remember her from Playboy and the ZZ Top video, but didn’t realize she was in “Ghostbusters”. (Only watched it once)
Also, didn’t realize she was the smokin’ hot Old West babe in the opening gambit of “Romancing the Stone”.

I am old and never been on Twitter
I once set up an IG because a dancer deleted her Facebook and started using IG. But I don’t see her anymore
I don’t follow the story, only on the fringes, but what I think is ironic is that several years ago all the woke Hollywood progressives drove Tesla’s (Ed Begley Jr for ex) but now that same work crowd is hating on Musk

I don’t disagree with you the Duttons are the villains.
The show teases some nudity but could certainly use more. The barrel racers are kind of cute. And we got a glimpse of Beth’s fine ass in season 1, but not much since
It was a big deal 10+ years ago when Mad Men and Breaking Bed occasionally said “fuck”. Now, it’s almost too common

When season 3 started i went back and watched from the beginning. I’m hooked now. It’s one of only 2 or 3 new shows I watch
I spent a summer in the vicinity of where it takes place - except the first 3 seasons were mostly filmed in Utah not Montana
The inauguration party seemed pretty authentic depicting how guys in that part of country dress. Except for newcomers, they’re true cowboys. You go to church on Sunday and guys wear jeans and a tie and everyone wears a cowboy hat. At least when I was there in the 80’s they still herded and drove cattle like the Old West. Doesn’t matter if you’re driving on a road. You stop - the cows have the right of way

Perhaps our response should be proportional to Poland’s “help” in the Desert Storm coalition.
The US provided 697,000 troops. Poland assisted with 319 medical personnel

Nice try in trying to spin it your way
Insurance claims for the BLM riots totaled between 1-2 BILLION dollars. And that’s not counting all the uninsured small businesses. Adjusted for inflation that’s more damage than cause by the Rodney King LA riots
January 6 damage was less the $2 million

I say it to honor my father who enlisted at the age of 17 in WW II.
But more importantly, when he talked about his experiences I truly listened to him and engaged him with questions. I do not say it as a false platitude or to be politically correct

Who the fuck is Ninabambina?
He’s a great interview and i love hearing him talk about his childhood influences, especially the TV shows and movies. We have similar tastes. However, it doesn’t translate into films I like. I don’t really care for his movies. And not a fan of the non-linear plot device he’s used a few times
He loves movies and enjoys talking about them. Compare that to Robert DeNiro who’s a sanctimonious prick

Service is bad, but not universal. It’s all about managers who care and have the ability to hire the right people.
I go thru a McDonalds drive thru every morning for an Iced Tea, there is always a long line but it moves right along. The employees are working women 25+ and this is their full time job. They are courteous, friendly and professional. (Well as much as a fast food worker can be). They are dedicated to providing a good experience and it shows.
Contrast this to the BK right next door. I rarely go there but when I do I realize I made a mistake. There is never a line yet it takes forever and the food is still cold. Not sure how that happens. The employees aren’t rude - but they don’t say a word either. The managers are bad and they hire bad employees

Some interesting observations.
I haven’t been to Vegas either since the pandemic. Regarding not seeing “fancy” people. I’ll never forget my first time to Vegas. It was a Friday night and between midnight and 1 am the parking garages were a full of activity and people came rolling in in droves. The women were all dressed like fashion models. It dawned on me they probably just arrived from making the 5-6 hour drive from LA

Happy Veteran’s Day. Thank you to everyone who has served. You have my gratitude.
I come from a long line of military veterans who served during wartime
Grandfather - US Army - France WW I
Father - US Navy - Pacific WW II
Uncle - US Army - Korea
Uncle - USMC - Korea
Uncle - US Army - Viet Nam
Me - I am in that small window between 1975 - 1980 when registering for Selective Service was not required
Looking back, I wish had joined the military and made it a career. I think it would have been a good fit

Kind of glad to someone else that’s never seen “The Godfather”
I’m not really into the Mafia stuff. I only watched “The Sopranos” this year. I liked it better than I expected but it’s FAR from my favorite TV show of all time. Perhaps just outside of the top 5
And as I mentioned in the Scorsese thread, “Goodfellas” is ok, but it’s not really a favorite of mine, and is bit overrated in my book

Poor Customer service, rude behavior, incivility, poor driving -
It’s probably been slowly in the rise for years, but in the 3 years they’ve all just exploded. The pandemic gets blamed for a lot of things - who knows the reason - but just dealing with everyday life (for me) really sucks right now
Human behavior is at its worst right now
