Good for you. You might've noticed I don't argue around here because to me it's not what I'm here for. The phone analogy was actually for the loom smashing that pervades so many threads around the boards. I was pretty clear about my thoughts on the subject in the second statement that you chose to ignore. But I don't spend my time worrying about the past with so much going on in the present, other than to understand the motivations of people I need to deal with IRL.
I respect the right of all you faceless Americans (and wherever else you're from) to believe what you like. Just so long as it's ok for other folks to maybe not care quite as much about what you're worked up about.

The past gets overwritten all the time. It's only a problem when something a person has an attachment to goes away. How many people are screaming because rotary phones went away?
To me there's a difference between something having a name that is continually offensive and something named after a long dead person or thing where most people don't remember the association.

Yeah, even when talent was top notch at the high end Vegas clubs it was a little too cookie cutter. That's why I preferred Little Darlings and Olympic Garden because it had more variety (okay and mileage).

I think what the data says is that people are naturally more attracted to things that are more similar to themselves and their comfort patterns and less attracted to things which are not. The more dissimilar the less attractive. It's a nature and nurture thing, but conventional wisdom (aka common knowledge) turns it into something a little more basic.

There was some guy who came so loud at Landing Strip in Austin you could hear it over the music. Problem was he did it out in the open in the front VIP area that was on a raised platform. I was sitting in the VIP booth next to him, so glanced up from my phone while this was going on at the WTF faces waiting for a reaction from me.
I liked the stage view I had from the booth so I just kept tapping randomly on my phone until it was over. The dancer just kept grinding facing forward the whole time like nothing was happening. Took the guy like half a song to get his nut out so it was awkward as fuck.
That same visit there was also some noise coming from another booth when I checked out the VIP but I think the dancer was just showing off. Maybe. But it worked out because it was drowning out whatever might or might not have been happening in my booth lol.
Last year I had some pretty epic reviews written out for my 2020 Tour of Austin, but business was so slow I didn't post them in case I was going back anytime soon.

Actually I bumped the thread because I ran across it while looking for something else, and thought it was interesting to read after a decade or so. But then TheeOSU posted something I decided to look up and found a quote I thought was pretty funny.

I get there's some grumbling over old threads that aren't relevant to anything strip club related, you know like Afghanistan, but some topic like this gets dusted off every couple of months. Year after year, like it's the first time anyone ever thought about it.
There's an old review I was looking for (because I couldn't remember what I'd written about a club I hadn't seen for 15 years) and ran across this old thread in the process. What I found interesting was that there wasn't some debate going round and round about whether or not guys should splooge during a lapdance. It was just a thread acknowledging it happens for some dudes and moving on with the discussion.
Oh, and some guy on TUSCL was already annoyed in 2009 that the same tired topic was getting rehashed in new threads. That was five years in, and little did he know a TUSCLer would show up and talk about it so much on the boards the whole thing would get named after him.

The GPS sent me to a spot around the corner from the actual club. Funny thing is they have a sign at the corner telling people to drive around. One of the dancers told me people keep taking th signs for who knows what reason.
