It was at Private Dancer in Columbus over 20 years ago. This new dancer gets on stage, first day dancing. Quite pretty, far prettier than all the rest dancing at this time. The club at the time, first song the dancer would take off her top, second song her bottoms and stand there in a bikini bottom and third song would be nude.
She nervously takes her top off first song and one of the best natural breasts I have every seen DD perfectly round and soft, nice nipples. Got quite a few tips, tries to dance a bit. Second song starts and she's now standing there in some tight shorts, one of the best bodies and faces I have ever seen, and again hesitates to take off her shorts. My last good visit on 3/14/2020, was my last visit to any club. There were rumors going on at both clubs I visited, Columbus Gold and Vanity, that all bars and restaurants would be closed soon. Those rumors came true the next week. I got dances from five dancers that night, three at Columbus Gold, and two at Vanity. This ended up being the longest time I ever spent and the most money I ever spent in one day in my local clubs. I ended up getting 3 songs each from two of the dancers at CG and two 2/40 uptime, followed by a 15 minute dance from my favorite then another 2/40 and additional song the next time uptime was called. At Vanity I got a 2/40 and a 15 minute dance from my favorite, and 2/40 and and extra dance from another dancer. Had a lot more fun from both my favorites than I have ever had at either club.
My last really good visit was October 2019. I typically visiting my relatives near Cleveland towards the end of the month to watch a Browns game. I typically take a slight detour to Erie PA on Friday and Saturday to visit a few of the clubs I like there. That day I ended up getting a really good dance from one of my favorites there named Peaches. Each time I visit she seems to learn more and more how to turn me on, and this day was her best by far. I had had my eye on a dancer named Asia the last few visits, but she was always too busy. Many of the dancers including Peaches new I had been hoping to get a dance from her. The next day I didn't even have to ask, Asia came right up to me and asked me if I wasted a dance, and unlike before she had no one else waiting. The wait was worth it, she was even better than Peaches. I suspect she had been talking to Peaches the day before, because she knew all the same buttons to push, that Peaches knew of and executed each one even better than Peaches.

I agree Papi. Two weeks after my second dose, I will hit my favorite club to see how things are. Based off reviews I have seen, once you are seated, other than the waitresses and bouncers wearing masks, it's basically like COVID hasn't happened. The dancers will sit at your table maskless, and lap dances are the same. The only negative so far, is a lot of the top dancers are still not back. The dancers who came back are definitely second tier at best, and quite a few are not in stripper fit shape yet. Also many of the dancers are new and haven't gotten to know the lay of the land and how things work. From what I read one good thing that came about is that the long neglected interior of the club was redone. All the old worn out carpeting has been replaced, and is regularly vacuumed each night. All the old work out chairs have been replaced, the mirrors are all brand spanking shiny new and the toilets are no longer broken down wrecks.
Depending on how things go, my next visit may be the only one for a month or two. One of the out of town clubs I occasionally visit, keeps getting closed for cleaning after several dancers test positive.

Shailynn, I have the same issue when visiting strip clubs while out of town, especially if I am going Bogarts or Henry VIII in Detroit. I keep a separate bag to store the clothes I wear when I have visited the clubs. One time it was so bad, it stunk up the room.

I agree lighting and makeup in a strip club can make all the difference, and it can vary on which club a dancer is in, and in certain cases the dancer can look hotter outside the club. There was one dancer who worked at several clubs. At her first club I rated her an 8, when she switched to another club she looked a lot prettier in the face, and I doubt she did anything different makeup wise. One of the clubs that I used to go to, the dancers would enter the club through the main entrance in their street clothes, then head to the dressing room. Quite a few of the dancers actually looked better without their hair made up, and their stripper makeup on.
This one in particular would have been at least an 8, if she kept her makeup and hairstyle similar to her regular look, however fully made up I only rated her a 7.

I have been to a few clubs that offered "special" dances with the birthday girl. I can recall only two separate clubs where I actually got a "birthday special" dance from a dancer when it was announced by the DJ. The first was at a now long defunct club. The DJ announced $50 off a half hour champagne room, and $125 off an hour. Since the price was less than what 9 dances cost at the club, I got half hour dance from one of my favorites. Only time I was able to get one at that club.
The other club was a club I visited before I moved to for the drive to be too far away. The club didn't have half hour dances, so the birthday girls all gave extra two for one dances after a two for one was announced, up to 3 consecutive 2 for ones. During the five years I visited I would get birthday dances from many different dancers. Although birthday girl wasn't the only excuse they had for multiple consecutive 2 for ones. They also sold a calendar with a different calendar girl for each month, and would offer a similar special with that month's calendar girl one week out of each month. They also had specials during Thanksgiving, Halloween, Fourth of July and Valentines day, and many other holidays.

None has ever asked for a loan. Most of the time it's how they are so close to making enough money today for some bill. Such as $200 away today, or I need two more half hour dances to be able to pay my rent.
In the right circumstances it can be fun. One favorite of min told me she had about $8000 in unexpected bills, and would give me an extra special dance if I got a few more dances from her than normal. Since my other favorite had seemed to quit recently I got six songs instead of my usual 3 or 4 and tipped her an extra $40 for the extra attention she gave me during the dance. I got around 5 or 6 dances from her each visit for the next three or so months, until she told me she paid off her bill, and gave me all the two for one discounts I wanted for the next few visits, and a lot of extra special attention.

I have heard dozens of stories from dancers, and probably 10 percent of it is true. For instance when the Tiger Woods cheating on his wife scandal came out, several dancers at both Kahoots and Sirens told me they knew about his mistresses for years. Tiger Woods would often show up during the Muirfield tournament with his current mistress and in the largest VIP room with at least half the dancers rotating in, then would continue on back at his hotel. Supposedly he was a great tipper.
I would often see several athletes and bodybuilders at the clubs during the Arnold, including some of the women bodybuilders. According to the dancers, there really wasn't too much VIP spending, but lots and lots of five dollar and ten dollar tips to the dancers on stage. Although a few must have gotten dances since more than one dancer mentioned that "it's true that steroids makes your dick smaller, and can keep you from being able to get it up."

It can be many reasons.
One of the clubs I used to go to had around 6 back booths that would be reserved for $100 which included two buckets of bear, with an required additional bucket of beer every hour for $30 to keep the booth. The club would make sure that there was always at least one dancer per customer sitting at the booths at all times. You would typically see four of the six booths occupied, with two or three customers and about 3 dancers per booth at any given time. It was almost constant a dancer got off stage, and if she didn't have someone wanting a dance after her stage appearance, she would be heading for one of the booths and one of the dancer would leave and work the floor asking for dances.
One of the dancers told me the the way the club got money was from selling the $30 buckets. The dancers would typically ask the guys if they could have one of the beers, and would basically drink a few sips and sit there talking. When they got up they would take the drink with them and dump it at the bar. With 6 bottles of beer per bucket, 2 customers and two dancers, the bucket would last at most 30 minutes, before the customers ordered another.
Other times it's just a regular customer who the dancers are comfortable around. I have been in that position a few times. At one of my favorite clubs before it closed, my three favorite dancers when they weren't on stage or another of their favorites showed up, would sit at my table for as long as I was there often two or three hours. The club was small club out in the country with around 12 to 15 dancers per shift, and rarely more than 40 customers any time, most of whom were there just to see naked ladies while watching the game. The time I visited there was only two regulars other than me, and we each had different dancers we liked, except for one guy who came in once a month and would tie up one of my favorites for the 3 or so hours he was there.
The reasons they all gave were to avoid having to sit with certain customers. All three dancers told me it was because they didn't want to sit by all the factory workers who would come in right after work smelling of sweat.
At another club it was a blonde and redhead who both would sit with me to avoid the a certain group grabby Indian IT workers that were always in every Friday night and asking for them.

Heellover, I seen a few mother-daughters dancers over the years, and a few times have gotten dances from both, once or twice on the same day.
I did meet a mother dancer, daughter bartender / shot glass girl and niece dancer once, so I would give that 10 points.
While it hasn't happened yet, I have been going to clubs long enough now, that I suspect I'll eventually end up getting a dance from the granddaughter of one of the various mother-daughter pairs over the years.
If that happens that will be at least a 25 on the PL scale, and at least 100 points if I get a mother, her two daughters, and the two daughters daughters.

Heellover, I have a few amateur contests all in the 90's. They all seemed a way for the club to audition dancers, and usually was around 8 girls. I think at most 3 or four of all the contestants I have ever seen were actually newbies, most were dancers who danced at other clubs.
One of the clubs would have 3 official judges from a local radio show, who would rate them on several categories, and also would give out a set of cards from 7 to 10 to 10 random people in the club rate the dancers, if you didn't think they were at least a 7 then you didn't put a card up. The score was supposed to be taken up from the judges scores and the audience. The audience score was pointless due to most of the drunk customers giving every dancer a 10. I think I was one of the few customers whenever I got one of the sets of cards who ever rated a dancer less than a 9.

Basically what Heaving said. I would add not only should the outfit look sexy, but should also be easy to remove.
One of my favorites wears a few outfits and her favorite consists of long arm length gloves, a tight corset with at least 12 loops, long fishnet stocking, and long tight boots. Once at a dive club in years ago. The farthest lap dance room was right next to the dressing room, which was open without a door. Went back for a lap dance with one of the dancers. All the rooms were full, but was told that the several would be done soon. Rather than head back into the main area of the club, and have someone else take one of the room, the dancer took me back into the dressing room where we waited for about 5 minutes, or 1 1/2 songs. The room was was messy, lots of clothes thrown onto the floor, the makeup area's mirror that looked like it hadn't been washed since the club opened.
There were probably about 5 dancers in the dressing room, all of whom went on their business like we weren't there. This must not have been that uncommon, because another dancer and her customer was waiting in the dressing room as we left.

As others have mentioned had a dancer pass out during a private dance. She was one of my favorites, she has been drunk and stoned before, but never that stoned. The song started out good, then all of a sudden she starts saying random things, then gets in a conversation with the drapes on the wall. Soon she stops dancing and looking at me like she doesn't know what is going on. So I pick her up put her down on the couch and she immediately lies down and falls asleep. I put $25 for one song down on the table, and leave the room and tell the bouncer. A few minutes later she is being dragged out of the room by two of the bouncers and they head her off to the dressing room.
Next visit she asks me if I saw her the last week. I told her yes, and she says she doesn't remember anything, then offers to give me two songs free, which of course I agree too and she gave me a very good dance.

Dave, I saw Ron Jeremy at several clubs. Usually there for some "amateur" stripping contest. He was actually quite a good MC, much better than the regular DJ's at the club. One common thing at most of the clubs, was lots of negative comments about him from the dancers.
Another I had dances from several times was Tiffany Towers, before she quite featuring due to getting ripped off one too many times by the clubs. Saw her three separate times at two different clubs, and gave one of the best dances. Her fake tits were surprisingly soft for their size. One of the best things about her was she only charge the same prices as the other dances, and would do a twosome with a few of the dancers. Never took her up on it.
A few others I have found, looking at some real old reviews I gave:

Jill Kelly - Very good stage show. Reasonable polaroid, but expensive lap dances especially for the time.

No for weirdest strippers.
A dancer who said she was a psychic vampire / succubus who got sustenance sucking up all the sexual vibes in the air at the club. She was very hippy dippy in attitude, and way out there. Would complain about how certain customers and dancers would taint the energy in the air which would make her ill. I think part of this was an excuse to get a dance, which I didn't mind. She was hot, and gave an amazing dance. The only thing that made me think she believed some of this, is she would often leave the club whenever a sports event was one and the home team was doing bad, because of all the negative energy.
I also saw a blind dancer in a club once. Would have tried a dance from her, but she was way too popular for the one day I was there.
Also saw one dancer do a reverse strip tease. Started naked and ended the song dressed. My entire thought the entire show was "Why?"
I have seen a few dancers body paint on huge "canvas" sheet on the stage. One of the funniest would have guys get on stage apply the paint with a brush onto her tits and ass, then when covered enough, would use her tits and ass as a paint brush on the guys who were covered in a thick sheet. It was basically a 30 second or so standing lap dance on stage, then on to the next guy.

So far I have seen a really amazing sword swallowing and fire show. She was actually a trained magician and would entertain at the Renaissance Festival with both her magic act, sword swallowing and fire show, and would often practice the show at the club. Her stage show at the club was actually in some ways better than what she did at the festival, not only was she naked and hot, but she also did a few more tricks.
She would light a bowl on the stage, put one of the batons in the fire, place it in her mouth, then blow the fire from her mouth to her hand lighting up her hands, and transfer the fire back in forth from her hands, up and down her arms, then back into her mouth and blow it onto the baton, then do a minute or two show with both batons, ending lighting her navel on fire, then pat it out. She would end the show lighting matches on her nipples and having guys blow them off. Certainly a few couldn't be done at the festival such as lighting her nipples on fire, but a few like the fire going up and down her arms could be done if she wore a different outfit.
A later show would be a sword swallowing act. Good, but not as good as the fire act.
The only thing she didn't do was her magic act at the club.

It happens in phases.
About 15 to 20 years ago many of the clubs would get shut down by an orchestrated attack busy bodies harassing the club, writing down license plates of several cars and posted them in local neighborhood flyers, and kept calling the cops for various violations.
Over the last five or so years it definitely has been gentrification. One common trick is to create a law that doesn't allow any adult businesses within a certain distance from elementary schools or day care centers. Then open a new school or day care center within the limits and then try to force the club to close. Club sues due to having been there before the law was changed. Fights it for two or three years, while going bankrupt in lawyer fees, and various fines from spot inspections.
There has been a slow decline. Back in the early 90's there was over 70 strip clubs within an hours drive of where I live. Now there are less than 15.
