Why are some PUA forums so against any form of P2P?

I think that this is a stupid topic. I also think that caring what anyone has to say on a PUA forum is a pointless burn of time and energy.

Because for them, it isn't about getting laid, it's about validating yourself as a man. And the only way to do that is by accosting a random girl on the street and getting in her pants within the hour.

It can be interesting to peek in on the weird world and odd ethics they've constructed, but I can't say I understand it. They, and their female counterparts (the Ho Tactics and female dating strategy girls) are pretty far outside my universe, though I do like to know enough to ID it when I see it.

I think it is just a matter of pride. But also it seems related to something I do not agree with, that is the idea that they are putting something over on the women, defeating them, getting around the effects of feminism.

For guys in their twenties or thirties, PUA strategies might work but aren't going to work for older guys. I'm 65 and there is no clever conversational gambit or form of psychological manipulation I could use on a hot twenty year old girl to get her to have sex with a really old guy like me. So, instead of wasting my time trying, if I was interested in having sex with them it would be better to offer them a financial incentive. You should always focus on your strengths when pursuing women. If you are rich use your money, if you are handsome use your looks, if you are good at persuasion use that and so on. Some of the PUA guys make a mistake in thinking their way is the only way.

Where some of them do have a point is where they say this is not the nineteen fifties any more so the romantic advice given to young guys in that era, get a good paying job so you can be a provider for a wife and children, doesn't work as well as it did then. Women have less interest in that kind of guy now because they are more financially independent. Feminism has encouraged them to pursue careers so they have money from that and affirmative action has helped many of them get higher paying jobs than a system based solely on merit would. Expansion of the welfare state has given women another source of income they wouldn't have had in an earlier era. So putting a little less focus on becoming the traditional male breadwinner type and more focus on improving your looks or social skills would be a rational strategy for many young men.

docsavage, I would not be so quick to conclude that it is all driven by age. Lots of young women have a huge interest in older men which has nothing to do with them getting cash. Maybe it is only 5% to 10% of them. But that is still more than enough to keep any of us busy.

The PUA's are down on P4P because they have the erroneous idea that by picking up on women, they are somehow getting the better of them.

Girls have the upper hand in social skills so for the drinks, that's a rule of thumb for beginners to avoid being taken advantage. Though at some point, buying drinks is part of the learning process.

They'd also rather have you spend the money on pricey training programs. But like fapping, porn, etc, p4p doesn't help with the skills they want to develop so some will say avoid altogether. But others will agree that everything in moderation after a while.

I actually follow some of the “game” principles in my civilian life. However, I modify the rules to suit my personality. P4P is something I may choose if I want to, not because SHE is pressuring me into it. It only happens on MY terms. It’s somewhat validating to know I can pay one of these ladies for some VIP time if I want to and then dismiss her.

I usually manage to get contact info from one or more girls when I do go, and not for p4p. I have a couple in my current rotation that I met at various clubs, and they periodically reach out to me to get dicked down real good.

The entire PUA system is dependent on not paying for sex. Once a guy pays - they drop out of the PUA system. Getting “in” with girls must not involve payment for it to be a legitimate pick up.

If you are running your PUA game on a girl, she should be fully into you. The top level pick up guys have this vision of girls buying them drinks - as their game is next level - and they appear to be so desirable the tables are turned.

But, the PUA’s you think are waiting outside the club are just cheap losers.

So many PUA "experts" have been caught paying off the models they "pick up" in their videos that their opinions about any kind of sex should be ignored.

The only system that is legitimate and proven is the one Rick Dugan has. That has a success level of 99.9999%!
