Ok, I'm not normally the type of guy to become infatuated with a stripper, but for the first time in a long time a dancer is giving me that twinge. She's the full package, gorgeous with an exotic flair, a stunning body, an amazing gift to gab and a very quick mind that retains (scarily) virtually everything. The more I deal with over time the more entranced I become.
It's been so many years that I thought that I was impervious to this. Now don't get me wrong, I'm old and grounded enough not to get silly and make poor decisions, but I do think I'd drink her bathwater if it would score me some time in a bed with her. I've been trying for a year now with no luck. Normally I'd have cut bait long ago, but every time she comes over to talk I just don't want to send her away. I even blew off an OTC offer one night - from a girl who was attractive in her own right - just to stay barside talking with this girl.
Honestly this girl should not be working in Jacksonville. She has all the skills to take down whales in one of the big money clubs. The Lodge in Dallas comes to mind as a place where she could soak whales - this girl has skillz.
Anyway, I thought that some might find this Dugan PL story amusing. š

the quality of attachment/infatuation you have for your ATF is guided by the neurotransmitter dopamine in the nucleus accumbens of your so-called brain.
The nucleus accumbens is a brain area that is involved in reward-seeking behavior.
Dopamine is involved in generating behavior that leads to something rewarding, and sometimes if it unexpected the effect is greater.
Your ATF is giving you āsignalsā (smiles, touches, tone of her voice etc, as part of her job of entertainment) that because YOU see her as too good to be true, āthe full packageā you perceive and interpret as unexpected-unexplainable rewarding that your brain is producing dopamine and makes you feel/fall in āloveā with her.
It is sometimes very common we call it Regular In Love, and we all have seen or been the guy that is infatuated/in love.
Donāt worry, she will not fall in love with you, and you will grow out of it when you find a new ATF.

There is a tendency to regard all dancers as disposable tools that serve a single purpose (and, there's a tendency for dancers to regard customers the same way...). It's true that I've spent time with several dancers just because they're drop-dead gorgeous, even though it became quickly apparent that there was going to be no personal connection.
That said, even though a customer may never "fall in love" with a dancer, it's normal to like or even care about a dancer where there is a personal connection in addition to a physical attraction. I was actually PMing with a local PL about something along these lines. If you're a club regular and you've been seeing a particular dancer for years, then I think it's weird to not eventually truly like that person. I know that there are those who will say that it's all theater on the part of the dancer, and that may be true in some or many instances. But I don't think it's always true... case-by-case basis, really.
There are a few dancers at Desire who I visit with regularly, and in all cases I enjoy their company outside of VIP. But, I do have a favorite, and she is at least partly my favorite because she's smart, funny, and engaging. Do I think I'm going to ride off into the sunset with this dancer?... absolutely not. But I enjoy it for what it is.

I always say, as long as I can get extras from a dancer, looks donāt matter. But there are those rare beauties who have the looks and charm to catch my interest (and retain my interest).

If anyone catches feelings - I suggest watching a few episodes of 90 day fiancĆ©. This show provides a view of folks who live in America and who meet a partner online in another country. Many are already struggling to get by. But then you see how the partner lives in a third world country, without many of our American necessities. I never really thought of it as "obsession" so much as a moderate "infatuation." But I guess the answer to that would depend entirely upon how the experience went. Sure I definitely enjoy the thrill of the hunt with some girls, but this is not that. In rare moments I meat girls who are unusual enough that I truly enjoy spending time with them, like my ATF, who lasted over a year.
She kinda' reminds me more of a girl named Daniela, who I posted about when I first joined the site, except that this one has all of Daniela's charms PLUS she's the hottest girl in the club on any night that she's there:

I hallucinate a "remember thou art PL" voice in my ear when I start getting feels. If she'll meet me for lunch, or come in to the club early to hang with me, I'll allow myself a little feels. But I keep in mind it may just be mileage points. Generally we stop crushing in high school, it leads to pain and disappointment, the aversion therapy works.
