Drug dealers in the club.

Serious on finding a new club SC? If there is anyone on here that I identify with a specific club, that would be you.

I would complain anonymously or even threaten to contact the cops, again anonymously.

The first step is admitting to yourself that your favorite club has a problem. Once the blinders are off, everything else works itself out.

The bouncers are getting free smoke as well. Some dealers do get thrown out, I’ve seen it, it’s usually those who are friends with security.

I was a young man during the late 80s-early 90s, There was always a well known coke dealer in the clubs I frequented, we were not friends. I have no idea how he did not get busted back then he was so open about it. Both clubs had organized crime connections and ran in to L.E. trouble after Whitey Bulger slipped out of town.. I am L.E now and do not sweat drug dealers but steer clear of Angels.

@chessmaster - If I was going to contact the club anonymously with a complaint/threat about kicking the drug dealer out I would probably first do it over email. It would be important to have a detailed description of the dealer including date/time/appearance and any other details. The point is to give them a written record of the complaint such that could be used against them later if they don't clean things up. Any halfway smart manager can read between the lines there. If that doesn't work then complain on social media publicly with a burner social media account (again make sure to post a detailed description of the dealer). Oh and tag the police on the post.

I assume the club/staff gets paid by the dealers to let them set up shop

The seedyness of Follies started wearing on me on my last few visits - it's bad enough the club is small and usually packed shoulder to shoulder, but makes it worst when you have that kinda element (drug dealers) that do nothing but make a strip club visit worst for those that are there for SCing.

There's probably drugs/drug-use in every club, but I don't think I've noticed it as blatantly as at Follies and surprised it's allowed to happen given that the mileage there already is beyond what it should be/legal.

Spoke to someone in the local PD. I told him the drug dealing was really hampering people's ability to execute on the prostitution front.

Yes the dealers that are cool with security or management provide free smoke. Those that don’t offer up or grease palms where needed get thrown out.

2. Have gotten dances from the girls, and afterwards seen them run over to the dealers. Thus my money to girl to dealers!. Then the bitches complain when they don't have rent money.

3. Drugs will be the downfall of the club. Remember the raid a couple years ago when they were only looking for one dealer? Never found him. Wonder who tipped him off?

Sucks even if you move sometimes there are multiple dealers there. And they have chased out most of the girls I like. I haven’t even seen Cassie or some of the griffin girls the last two times. They must be going somewhere

it's unfortunate, but the dealers keep the dancers in the club. kicking them out (like was done a few years ago) only succeeded in discouraging dancers from working there.

It sounds like drug dealers are starting to run the club.

My impression is that it is drugs, not sex, that triggers most SC raids. Once dealers start using the club, major LE action is inevitable.

Well, you could try this. But I'm skeptical that it would make a difference...

Send them an email via an anonymous one-time-use email service (there are several that are free). Describe the activity and the drug dealers, but leave out anything that might identify you as the sender. State that they need to do something to limit the drug dealers (elimination is asking too much), because it is ruining the club experience for customers.

Conclude by saying that if they don't do something, then you'll stop going. And, additionally, you'll forward what you've witnessed to both the local media as well as the police. They'll probably be more afraid of an undercover reporter than a cop.

Give them a week to sort it out.
