  I've gotten dances from strippers who are not my type -- usually, this means curvier girls, since I like slim girls -- almost always 100% because of a combination of incredibly beautiful face + awesome fun personality. I have never remotely been disappointed the few times I've done this -- maybe because I'm not distracted by animal attraction, and instead she has to turn me on with her personality. Prime example: curvy girl with incredibly beautiful face. She comes over and asks if she can sit down, I tell her I'm not buying dances but she's free to sit down and drink with us (that is, my usual), and she says "sure, I'll just hang out" (reminder of the huge advantage of going on slow day shifts where the strippers have few options).   I definitely wouldn't get a dance from a girl that wasn't my type just because there weren't any other options, in that case I would just go home and save my money. I have been extremely horny a few times where no girls were my type, and I was very close to getting a dance from a 6 who wasn't my type at all just because I was so desperate.   Used to happen a bit more when I was newer to the game - back then I had less time to SC and wanted to get at least something on a visit in the cases where there weren't enough dancers to my liking or the ones I liked were occupied (back then I usually SCed on Fr and Sat nights) - I was also less assertive back then and easier to convince - these days I'm def more set in my ways and know what I want and what I don't want and will usually not give dancers an in if they are not my type (will not engage them in convo; etc). Opposite to Subra and others; slim girls w/ barely any tits or ass and barely any curves, I have zero interest in. Back in my newb days when I would allow dancers give me their pitch a few not-my-types would convince me and it usually turned into good-dances I assume either b/c they were pros at the game (if they were good enough to convince me they usually were also good-dancers); and also assume they may have tried harder since they probably noticed my lukewarm reaction towards them. These days it rarely happens except once in a while when I go to a mixed-club w/ no black chicks and I do dances with something I may consider ok but not exactly crazy-about. Also a dancer grabbing my dick would often get me t cough-up a few dances in the where I would o/w have passed; but I've kinda overcome that also.

  Like others here, my "type" tends to the spinner end of the spectrum, albeit with plenty of variation, slim without being skeletal, small to medium breasts, smaller, firm ass. That said, I've gotten dances, VIP, ITC and OTC from dancers that were not at all my physical type, because their personalities clicked with me.   I think they can tell when they're not really my type, and it tends to go one of two ways: They put in a lot of effort to try for repeats during later visits, or at the other end of the spectrum, figure it's a one-off and put in below-average effort sensing that I'm not regular material. There have been a couple of dancers who weren't exactly my type that I went on to repeat with during several visits. I liked the way one spoke and carried herself and enjoyed her dances. Another had some similar random interests and was good at building rapport.

  I have before when the dances are cheap. $10 or $15 I'm more likely to entertain dancers that aren't my "type". I am with everyone else in that I've had mixed results.

  I have had everything with girls who weren't my type from a complete waste of time to ATF worthy. But I have had girls who absolutely were my type end up being a complete waste of time too. It's all a crapshoot.
