I think I’m going to agree with Puddy Tat. My college roommate had a Playboy centerfold with great tan lines taped to wall the entire year and she was super hot. But I think it an all nude strip they do look a little out of place

I had forgotten about those amazing Playboy pictorials with lots of tan lines. Those special pictorial publications like Girls of Summer, Wet-N-Wild, etc were fantastic!

Like @Dolfan, tan lines are largely irrelevant to me, assuming there's not a huge difference in contrast due to a sunburn. I'm definitely not a fan of severe sunburns, but much of that is just concern about the damage that the sun can do to unprotected skin...

A bit more re my enthusiasm for tan lines. We know that tanning is unhealthy, but tan skin definitely looks great on those that can tan without getting lobster red.

In a strip club, I think the part of the appeal of tan lines is 1) they accent the tan, and 2) they help your mind wander to thinking of the dancers life outside of the club. That you could come across this eye candy at a pool or beach in the real world.

For the non stripper population, the tan lines accent the tan and just seem to indicate a healthier lifestyle to me.

Yes, especially if you’re white and of a certain age. As a teenager I always thought of tan lines as a guide for knowing when I had entered forbidden territory. Something about small, firm, milky white titties outlined by a young tanned body takes me back to my squandered summers growing up in Miami Beach, and the first times I got to explore the female body.

Yeah. Part of the pleasure is the relative rarity of such, at least here in Oregon.

All else being equal, I’d rather not see tan lines.

But will tan lines, or lack thereof, influence my decision to get a LD with a particular dancer? No, not at all.

Would I pick one dancer over another based on tan lines? No; too many other, more important, factors to consider.

This post has really put my head on a swivel. Out and about earlier today (not in a club!) I saw a very cute AA girl with nice bikini top tan lines. Extra rare to see darker skin as the un-tanned region, so that was particularly attractive (to me anyway). Just another reason to like Summer!
