TUSCL Convention: Las Vegas
Clackport
Washington
So there has been recently been TUSCL conventions in Phoenix and Miami. I was thinking the next convention should be in Vegas. I was thinking late September early October. Maybe late evening early night. We could go to the club that is ranked number one on TUSCL in dancer quality (Spearmint Rhino).
Who is up for it?

If it happens, y'all enjoy!!!
Detroit sounds cool, but I doubt anyone would want to be there in October. Plus the hottest girls out of any club in the U.S. is hard to pass up for me (Spearmint Rhino). Plus it's Vegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Are there any TUSCLers that actually live in Vegas? Maybe he could be a guide for us?
Also I don't get all the hate Vegas gets. Sure you spend a lot of money, but shit the most beautiful strippers in the U.S. come to Vegas to dance. Maybe ITC mileage won't be the best, but OTC is almost always on the table. OTC with a 10 sounds good to me. Plus it's cool just chilling with other TUSCLers.
I probably won't be able to make it to this because I'm going to the Hall of Fame in Canton in August. I wish I could make it though because it would be cool to meet you guys and besides that, Vegas has so much awesome entertainment.
Side note: A dugly post, an alternate dugly post, another dugly post. Do you really think you're fooling anyone? Sad, pathetic little troll.
I usually get to LV 4 times a year, but my next trip is not until November. (Way too hot in the summer, limit trips to NOT summer time.)
I've been there many, many times. And it sucks. It has sucked for years, and it only gets suckier. The entire population of Vegas is there with one goal: to suck money out of the stupid tourists. It's overpriced, the clubs suck (except for some hot dancers), it has the highest unemployment rate in the country (last I checked...something like 25% or something insane like that), it's all flash and no substance, and if you don't gamble it's pretty much a waste.
The days when Vegas was a fun place are long gone. And even then it wasn't that much fun. There used to be very low priced food that was decent, low priced hotels that were decent, and you could actually drive the strip without waiting in a freaking traffic jam for an hour. The entire city is populated by people who left their homes and came to Vegas in search of a job and easy money, and they end up gambling and losing it.
If you're proud about being a loser who gladly pays for insanely overpriced shit, then it will make you feel like a real man. But for the rest of us it's a fucking ripoff.
But I hope you guys have a blast.
SO TRUE. I nearly wrecked the rental twice in LV traffic, and that was just trying to leave/return to the airport, and didn't even try to stop anywhere in town.
The reason I thought Spearmint Rhino Vegas is a good spot for the convention is because, A: from what I hear the weather isn't too bad in Vegas in October. B: there is a lot to do in Vegas besides strip clubs. C: Rhino arguably has the hottest girls of any club in the country. D: see C. E: It's Vegas.
Thursday October 3rd at 8pm at Spearmint Rhino. Everybody cool with that date?
Who's got good hotel recommendations for us TUSCLers? For me personally I don't want to be at a hotel on the strip because it was so expensive last time I was there. So basically I'm looking for cheap hotel recommendations that's not on the strip that's not too far away from Rhino. Other TUSCLers are probably looking for mid northern hotels on the strip depending on how much they can spend or whatnot. Who's got hotel recommendations that can fulfill all of our needs?
I'll be surprised if you have more than 3 in attendance. You aren't responding to feedback here very much, Nukey, because you are so determined to push ahead with your agenda of showing to all of TUSCL how wicked your "game" is and how those 9s and 10s at the SR are going to be at your mercy. Problem is very few believe you in the first place, and, even if were true, nobody thinks it's worth a trip out to Vegas to watch. Got to think beyond yourself Nukey when you are arranging one of these things. If you are capable of that, that is.
The majority of the population of Las Vegas doesn't have anything to do with tourist. You realize there's more to the city the The Strip right?
Compared to other large American cities, it's not overpriced. Because people choose to gamble/spend in excess doesn't make it overpriced.
It does not have the highest unemployment rate in the country. It's under 10% and over the national but not that bad.
There's plenty of substance if you look for it and many of the vacationers spend little to no money gambling.
The food is still great and on par, if not cheaper, than food in other big cities. The hotels are world class and much cheaper than any other big city.
You've been "many many" times and hate it this much? Why keep going back? It sounds to me like you got your information from watching TV and Movies.
I'm not sure what you consider "insanely overpriced" but if you've been to Vegas many times and think it is, then I suspect you haven't traveled much in the U.S. and certainly not abroad.
I haven't been to Vegas in over a decade,I recall Stratosphere as being very convenient to OG. As for SR-LV, it seems like some mid strip hotels might be good for that. I heard of a coworkers parents getting a good rate at Luxor, but that doesn't seem like a convenient location.
I would think that some recent travelers or highly motivated Priceline or Google searchers could come up with some good inputs.
Boogieknight- Of course you would do it in Detroit, you live there! Lol I'm just messing with you.
Sclvr- I know you live somewhere in the Vegas vicinity, come through man.
Estafador- I feel ya man, that's where I was a couple of years ago.
So far potential people: myself, Lopaw, Duo, rh48hr, Bullwinkle, Gawker, Minnow. We gotta make this the largest TUSCL convention ever haha. The funny thing is sometimes when Shadow goes to Follies he has 5 or 6 TUSCLers with him, so in reality he has had a bunch of conventions at Follies haha.
How about the date Thursday October 3rd at 8pm? Is that alright? The reason I chose Thursday is because Friday and Saturday will be crazy packed. I'm sure Thursday will probably be busy, but nothing compared to Friday and Saturday. Also I was trying to work it in with Lopaw's schedule. If Lopaw is at a TUSCL convention she is the leader of the crew.
I’d be down for a Detroit meet as long as it was during the warm months.
Okay, you're right, the unemployment rate in Vegas is NOT 25 percent right now. That info is like a year old. It was that way in early 2012. So sue me. The point remains. When the economy sucks, Vegas sucks worse.
I've been there many, many times because I live in LA, and often make trips there with friends and family because they like it, and it's an easy way to get away for a weekend when you live in LA. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck, but in the scheme of things if given the choice I would never go there alone to have a good time. Because it sucks. But I guess that's a few levels too deep for you to understand.
And to say there's plenty of substance there if you just look for it is freaking retarded. There isn't shit to do there, especially when you compare it to all the alternative cities. It's not even in the same league as So Cal in terms of stuff to do. So unless you're gambling or going to a show, why even bother?
What the fuck do you do during the day there? You're pretty much limited to hanging by the pool or wandering the malls.
Anyway, if you're convinced that Vegas doesn't suck then have fun. But IMO there are far better alternatives for enjoying yourself. FAR better.
Because he has passive-aggressive personality disorder just like you do, and is probably also clinically depressed (which you probably aren't).
Bad economic conditions in Vegas benefit the tourist. By best comp offers were during the worst economy. But ignoring that how does a bad economy effect your ability to enjoy a vacation destination?
So your friends and family are losers who like paying for expensive stuff?
You're from SoCal but you think Vegas is expensive? What barrio do you live in?
What do you do during the day on your vacations? I suspect I've done or can do those same things in Vegas. Just because you can't pull yourself away from the nickle slots doesn't mean there isn't anything to do.
Are you the guy who loses his money the first day and then spends the trip bitching in the room about how there's nothing to do?
Sorry man, but me and 10's of millions of yearly visitors enjoy the town just fine. (One of the top few tourist destinations in the country)
Oh, now I get it. You like Vegas, so if anyone says otherwise you get your panties in a bunch. Now I understand.
Grow the fuck up.
But then you gave us this gem, so we shouldn't be surprised:
"If you're proud about being a loser who gladly pays for insanely overpriced shit, then it will make you feel like a real man. But for the rest of us it's a fucking ripoff."
Why don't you take a video of you running gaming in the Rhino and post it on YouTube for us all to see.
I'll bump this thread every couple of weeks or so just as a reminder of the date.
I've clubbed in Vegas a few times over the years and it sucked. The girls run high octane hustles and generally offer low mileage. There are also ROBs a plenty, operating safe in the knowledge that their victims will soon be flying back home. I dislike Vegas clubs so much that I didn't even bother visiting them the last time I was out there.
Anyway, it is a fun town to gamble in for a few days, but far from a great SC town. I think a few people may be on to something with Detroit. Dallas would also be a great option, with several large nude byob clubs.
I bet The System could crack that nut.
