What is your zone of expertise?

If you were to describe geographically the region whose clubs you are familiar with, what would it be? The reason is I was thinking that the idea of a national top ten or top one hundred is pretty silly since nobody, or so I presume, is that well traveled to have visited more athan a handfull.

Personally I would regard my zone of expertise to be Los Angeles, although I have hardly been to every club here.

I think I could safely be called an expert on the Alberta clubs but that is nothing to be proud of. Sort of like saying I am an expert at picking my nose. Same amount of pleasure. I know Vancouver well enough to tell anyone that there is but a single club worth visiting in that lovely city. But Toronto?? Aaaah - Canada's SC heaven! A SC horndog can lose himself in the cluster of clubs around Pearson Int'l.

I know Detroit a little bit but I must defer to the real experts out there- vince, jack, motor, superdude, sam, alucard, and all the others. I can tell you this, however. If a SC horndog strikes out in Detroit it is time for that horndog to give up this hobby.

Thanks for the promotion to EXPERT Art. LOL
I know a little something about the Clubs I have visited over the years, but it is a subset of the whole Metro Detroit scene.

I would say the Seattle area. Some Portland also. Other than that, when I'm visiting other cities, I usually pick one or two clubs to work at. I don't shop around much so I wouldn't call myself an expert.

Inno, you have one of the best SC zones available to you right where you live--the COI clubs, and you've reviewed some of them. You might as well take your vacation there. I'd like to get back to L.A. for a strip club vacation. I didn't move to Seattle for its fine selection of strip clubs. Here in Seattle, I've been to all of the Puget Sound Region clubs. That's only 12 clubs presently.

When I lived in L.A., I specialized in the San Gabriel Valley clubs (that includes COI), Pomona, and Inland Empire clubs (mostly Upland-Rialto-San Bernardino). I also know several Las Vegas clubs.

I'm pretty familiar with NY area clubs. I haven't gotten around to writing all the reviews yet, but will eventually do so. I also have some degree of familiarity with Tijuana. Ultimately I know where to find the hottest girls and the best mileage. Unfortunately both of these don't coexist at the same club.

It would be helpful for TUSCL to have top 10 lists by regions. Typically, we are looking for the best clubs in one area--either where we live or where we are traveling for business or vacation.

The only region in which I can boast any expertise is the Detroit area, and so my strip club experience has been limited to air dances.

When I used to have family in Florida, I visited almost all of the Tampa clubs (except in Ybor City). Now I'm limited to yearly visit to Mons Venus.

Detroit, my hometown. I was just back there the other day and stopped in at Penthouse after checking out the renovation of my ATF club, Players. Thanks Art, I do what I can, when I can. I'm honored to be included in your list. While on the road, the last 2 years, I experienced several of Florida's clubs around the state.

Providence, Massachusetts, Florida south of the panhandle and Vegas. Also been to clubs in Arizona; Virginia; West Virginia; Philly; Maryland; Eastern Canada and Connecticut. Clubs are like casinos and bars. If you have a great time its a great club. If you don't its not. The experience is all personal. My favorite club in America, bar none is the Inner Room Cabaret in Cocoa Beach, Florida. March's strip club trip...oops I meant golf vacation can't get here soon enough.

Los Angeles.
Used to focus close to LAX, but as clubs close there I have been venturing further away - and reaping the rewards.

i was just thinking about this the other day.

reviews are always for specific clubs.
but wouldn't it be good to be able to review an area (or even a cluster of clubs) as one review.

for me the area/cluster of expertise would be the niagara falls clubs. i could easily write a good review of which clubs to visit and when (and what to look out for), for anyone not familiar with that area.

but i would like to see reviews of other areas as a whole group. for example, i wouldnt mind seeing a review of the detroit area as a group, looks like might be worth a trip along there someday soon?

maybe a tab for 'destinations' could be added with each destination area being reviews by us clubbers too ?

these reviews would really help out of towners who dont aleady know that scene, so give advice whats available, what the local rules are, when to go, where to stay and eat even.

These are the areas that I club in frequently enough to have a fair degree of operating comfort. I have clubbed in several other areas in the past year as well (and have posted reviews of some of those clubs), but I could not say that I an in those areas often enough, or visited enough of the clubs, to be able to speak about those club scenes with any degree of accuracy.

@bluemonday: "for me the area/cluster of expertise would be the niagara falls clubs. i could easily write a good review of which clubs to visit and when (and what to look out for), for anyone not familiar with that area."

Last year I wrote an article summarizing the Louisville clubs for Derby time. Others have some similarly on occasion. Since one receives credit for articles, it's another way to contribute and get VIP time.

If you want to review an area or city, do as I have done for Atlanta, rickdugan has done for RI and others have done. Do an article. I would rather see those kind of articles rather than sex stories, etc.

Southern California, specifically Los angeles, City of industry and parts of orange county. Most all expertise would be focused on the daytime shift, I rarely go to any club that night.

Since I'm all over the map, I can't say I'm an expert in any one location. I explore for a couple of days and then I'm gone, most of the time never to return. Closest I do get to being a regional expert due to return travel is the LA area and Las Vegas, but it's months between visits. Otherwise, in other parts of the country, I'll go to a few clubs in one area but not learn much about them as a regular would. Therefore I do depend on all you regulars in all your different regions for insight. It would be nice if that sort of knowledge, who are the "go to" guys for advice in a specific area, could be organized in some way.

I told a dancer that if her left leg was Thanksgiving and her right leg was Christmas, I'd be willing to visit her between the holidays. However I woukd not call myself an expert on a region. Avtually I told her it was a pickup line I heard.

Everyone's tastes are different so you need to find a reviewer with similar tastes and opinions. Some guys like the girls big and fat, some like them fit and trim with full size tits. Then there is a time factor. I often only get to visit on a weekend night and find one club others like to be a big hassle at that time on several nights. Then some clubs can be hit or miss depending upon which dancers are working from one week to another. It's even possible I could visit at the same time as someone else and have a great time with my hot favorites who never dance on stage and someone else never even sees the same girls. There's a lot of variables. I guess we could add thngs to our profiles to give others a better sense of what we like.

I have visited all of the clubs in the Kansas City area, and most of the clubs in Kansas as far west as Topeka and down to Scranton. I haven't visited very many clubs in Missouri east of Fantasy Ranch because most clubs in Mo are a waste of money. I have spent an unhealthy amount of time over in ESL during the past 12 years, but there are a couple of new clubs that I haven't visited yet....TUSCL reviews make them sound similar to other (cheaper) clubs there, so maybe I won't bother. I have also spent a fair amount of time in SF on 3 or 4 different occasions. And I have been to TJ, Tampa and (old) Memphis as well.

All of my knowledge about clubs outside of KC has come from TUSCL which I have read for the past 15 years. I got most of my SF info years ago from the old USENET ASS-C.

TUSCL made me very aware that Mons was a place I had to visit, and I made a point of doing so. Same goes for TJ. Same goes for COI, but I haven't made it there yet. I used to travel to DET on business in the mid-80's. I hated it. I don't care if they f**k you for a dollar in the clubs, DET's not on my list of places to visit.

NOW THEN....how about creating a special distinction for TUSCL members who have visited half of the clubs presently in the (U.S.) top ten. Perhaps the percentage should be more - say 7/10. Anyway, the member would then be admitted to the "Order of the Golden Thong"...or whatever. There could be a secret handshake...er, not that...lol The US could be broken down into regions, and each region could then have a top ten, and when you have visited all of the top10 in the region, you could become admitted to the "Southeast Cheek", etc. I suppose it would be on honor system. Founder's gonna have to quit his day job to keep up with all of that...... Oh yeah, once you're "in", you're in even if the top 10 changes.

This could set up various rivalries and inter-regional competitions that might be fun...or not. Maybe we elect a president for domestic club visitations and regional V-P's....

busy day tomorrow....
