The two-for-one deals are pretty illusory, from a practical standpoint. If you're really just looking for a couple lap dances, maybe a couple apiece from a variety of dancers, it's not a bad way to go, although I do tip the dancers up a bit so they're not taking too much of a financial hit from a club promotion. OTOH, if you're in the hunt for extras, which can be a bit of a challenge in a mainstream club like CL (you need to find the right dancer in the right frame of mind), cheaping things out over $15 from the get go doesn't seem the best way to worm your way into the dancer's graces, or wherever else you'd like to worm your way into to a dancer.

I like this place. I like the similar, nearby Lookers in Linden better. Both have a heavy dollar parade but it is manageable, and an opportunity to interact with a lot of attractive talent. But I was at Breathless in the evening and there was no minimum spend at the bar for the privilege of paying for private dances. Wondering if the bartender was freelancing. My experience is if you make direct eye contact, the dancers who are sitting with regulars at the bar will find the right moment to excuse themselves and come ask you for a dance. Agree regarding attributing any illegal act to a dancer by name. But is it a transgression to describe a club as an "extras" club? That implies that some significant percentage of the dancers will engage in such acts, and it is certainly a potential flag for law enforcement. OTOH, it is certainly actionable intelligence, if only in rebuttal to a review from somebody who strikes out once or twice and declares that no extras are available.
