Never Again
It had been about a year and a half since I had last visited this place despite the fact that it is geographically closest to my home of all area establishments of this type. Like many others I had grown more than tired of the constant excessive dollar parade and the continued decrease in overall talent level so it was not a challenge to stay away for so long. I must have gotten kicked in the head by a mule because I suddenly had the urge to return again on a recent Monday afternoon knowing full well that the odds of me walking out of that rat hole with steam coming out of ears were still rather high.
I arrived at around 12:30 and there were 4 girls dancing on the primary rectangular stage immediately to the left as you enter the bar. There is no cover charge or pat down when you go during the day, but apparently it is a different story at night. Just to rehash the whole MO at this rip-off joint, you usually see 4-5 girls on stage at one time for 10 or 15 minute shifts, then they all step down at once and the dollar trade is in full effect. Immediately thereafter a new batch of the same number of dancers replaces them and the story repeats itself for as long as you are there. If that isn't annoying enough, every now and then one of the women who isn't currently on stage decides to circle the bar demanding tips just for the simple reason that she is physically in the building. It's your call whether or not you want to tell her to F** off, but I don't think there are many guys who do this.
I counted about 20 girls on staff at this time which is pretty much standard for the afternoons during the week and, quite frankly, is far too many given the small crowds. I was struggling to find anyone ripe for a private dance until Alejandra appeared on stage. I had gotten dances from her on a previous visit about two years ago and she is a very attractive, buxom dirty blonde who doesn't exude a ton of enthusiasm, but was a lot of fun in the VIP room. When she came over to collect the mandatory dollar, I mentioned that I remembered her from before (doubtful that the feeling was mutual) and asked if we could do a dance. After she finished her run around the bar, she made her way over to me and the bartender yelled out to her something in Spanish I couldn't understand, but I knew there was going to be some kind of problem. The bartender then comes over to me and tells me that I can't get a private dance until I spend $30 at the bar. I immediately responded with a 2 word answer (use your imagine to figure out what the 2 words were) and stormed out of the place. I remember on my previous visit early last year that they had tried to pull some bullshit like that, but I was still able to get a dance from one of the women. As if it's not bad enough that this place is notorious for one of the worst dollar parades on the East coast, now you are essentially forced into spending $50 for a lap dance (assuming it is still $20 per song which I obviously didn't get to confirm on this visit). I know it is their club, their rules, but I have never heard of anything so ridiculously greedy in any of the 50 or so clubs I have been to throughout my life and I will never set foot in there ever again. I don't know how the women feel about it, but in Alejandra's case, she saw extra revenue from the impending lap dances storm right out the door so I have to believe that at least some of them can't be thrilled about it even if all of their disappointment is directed at guys like me for my perceived cheapness.
